Blizzard Tell "Fans" To Sit Down, Shut Up
kotaku.com — Wilson takes a bunch of fan "suggestions" on Diablo III's art direction - in the form of photoshopped screenshots - and tears them to pieces. Fun reading...

Certainly an interesting read. I for one am going to trust these guys (even though they aren't the guys that made D1 and D2). I'm sure it will turn out to be an interesting and fun game. - rowlodge, on 08/05/2008, -2/+5this fan art stuff could be remedied just by just turning the contrast down or adjusting the gamma on their pc's if you ask me.
- apena89, on 08/06/2008, -0/+1yep, and lower the saturation.
- apena89, on 08/06/2008, -0/+3would you like it better if Blizzard just cancels the game all together?
i agree with Blizzard, shut the ***** up!- punkcat, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1i would have preferred it Blizzard personally slapped the people doing the remakes.

- bullioncube, on 08/06/2008, -0/+2Good read, but the title was a little bit on the sensational side. I went into this article expecting a video of an angry Jay Wilson telling fans to stop bitching while simultaneously ripping apart their printed photoshops. Needless to say, I was disappointed.
- ZurMacht, on 08/06/2008, -0/+2Good for Jay, the people that are editing these photos are not game designers. They have no idea what they are talking about, and as Jay pointed out clearly, they are simply looking at it from a dark-gritty-grim aspect, when the reality is, D1 and D2 were had very vibrant and colorful moments of gameplay.

You need the contrast in order to make it more dramatic, as well as make it clear who is friend, who is foe, where items are, what spells people are casting, etc. - jcani, on 08/06/2008, -0/+1giant rainbows :)
