New Gameboy every 6 months so you can play new games? Ok, let's get our facts straight a little bit.
What kind of portable Nintendo games have been made since the Gameboy came out?
-Original Gameboy games
-Gameboy color games. Gameboy color played original Gameboy games
-Gameboy Advance games. GBA, GBA SP (Not sure about Micro, but I imagine it does) play original Gameboy and Gameboy Color games
-DS Games. The DS plays Gameboy Advance games, but not original Gameboy or Gameboy color games. This is the only system that, to my knowledge, is not entirely backward compatible.
The GBA was around a long time before the DS came out. Simply seeing new systems come out in no way would mean you *have* to have them to play certain games. I wish they would make a matte black (it also shows scratches less), but even a glossy white shows less fingerprints than black. Just my $.02

Those are the fuzziest pictures I've ever seen, kinda hard to see anything with any 'sexiness' at all to me. - bostisch, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Anything with a battery doesn't run on AC, so you need only worry about charging it. That being said, there are already chargers made for 110V 60Hz. Ergo, you can import a DS Lite from Europe, but you'll need a DC converter made for the US market.

- colonelpanic, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2yeah, I gave up after the original GBA and how horrible it was. I had to double the weight of it with a battery pack and a light. Same with my GBC and original. They may have fixed that, but I don't like buying a new game boy every 6 months so I can play new games. People complain abotu new iPods coming out, at least the old ones can play new music still.
