Bioshock. June. Confirmed.
destructoid.com — 2K games has confirmed to 1UP that their highly-anticipated shooter will be coming to the Xbox 360 and PC in June 2007. No word on a PlayStation 3 version, if there really will be such a thing. Here's the short, but sweet announcement:

- HawkTail, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12A PS3 version was never announced. That was a false story printed be Official Playstation Mag. These are the same people that said Half Life 2 was comming out on PS2
- tafkase7en, on 10/12/2007, -15/+2Write.Like.A.Normal.Person.
- canti32, on 10/12/2007, -10/+1Yeah, Bioshock's been confirmed.
Still no word on Duke Nukem though and we're entering year what? 9? 10? - Chompy, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2Aww man, I thought this was about Bioforge.. a classic Origin game from the early 90s where you got to beat a dude to death with his own arm.
- Buddhist, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1Worst. Title. Ever.
/comicbookguy - miketuck3r, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4the ps3 article was real i bought the mag it was from May 2006 before MS took it pc/360 exclusive in september at X06
- HappyScrappy, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2You don't know if the story is false yet. You believe it to be false, but there's no information behind that, just your own belief. Bioware has said nothing about whether it will or won't be coming. So at this time, all you can say is "there has been no announcement of a PS3 version so far".
- Blandyman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3HappyScrappy:
I find it hard to care what Bioware has to say about this, considering they're having no hand in either its development or publishing.
Good try at a rational thought, though. - HappyScrappy, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Okay, whatever, I spazzed on the company name. Big deal.
There's still no info from anyone who would actually know precluding a PS3 version or alternatey, giving a date. - Blandyman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Either way, no one's said it's not coming to PS3. If you would reread his comment, or even the article, they say "There's no word on a PS3 version."
There have been NO claims, NONE, except for fanboys (not even in this article,) that claim it will never come to PS3. Everyone in these comments and in the article, just says "There is currently no PS3 version."
And yeah, I see you could've ***** up on the company name (Bioshock and Bioware are indeed close) and I guess I only attacked you because I didn't like your comment. I shouldn't have done that, I do apologize.
- xXShadowstormXx, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9I can't wait for this game. I have been looking forward to it for a long time. Talk about a throw up between horror and FPS.
/drools- GoatBnn, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Yea, after Deus Ex 1, I cant wait for anything with Warren Spectors name on it!
- Lean, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The trailer for this game made me physically uncomfortable...and in this case...that's a good sign. I seriously will wet my pants at least once while playing this game guaranteed. (or your money back!)
- dr00, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2i concur. this could be one of the most intense games this year and that has me very excited.
- theworldisround, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Twins. Swedish. My place. NOW.
- theonlyvlad, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6I see what you did there...
- FinalSolution, on 10/12/2007, -11/+0Only in your dreams...actually, they would still turn you down there too, NERD.
- hansblix, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3:(
(why not tomorrow?) - bigbchew, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Dugg for title!
- spyrochaete, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1A confirmed release date 6 months in the future is never a good sign for a video game. Valve taught me that a flexible release date leads to finished products.
- concreteclam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Any sequel, spiritual successor or whatever, to the System Shock series, makes my nipples hard. Very... very hard.
- abhirao, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"2K games has confirmed to 1UP..." Then why not link to 1up directly?
- krakkinem, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm. So. Stoked.
- SSYe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I've been waiting for a good Deus Ex for....... 6 years now.
- entertainer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Actually its System Shock's 2 spiritual successor, not Deus Ex.
- DanielNielsen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Its good that its has gotten a confirmed date not, but i still wont mind if they have to move it, cause it want that game to be as perfect as Sysshock 1 & 2, they are prolly some of my favorite games of all time.
- Kinsbane, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16 months?
But I want it now!
