- Cutter20, on 07/31/2008, -1/+1The first game should have had multiplayer too. This is a no-brainer.
- DeathBot, on 07/31/2008, -0/+1Eh. Personally, I'm not that big on the idea of Bioshock multiplayer. I mean, it was a good, story driven game with a quality single player campaign. I just feel like its going to be very tough to translate the bioshock experience into multiplayer. Unless its co-op, which would be fun.
- philars, on 08/01/2008, -0/+3I love multiplayer FPS's. All the way back to the days of Duke Nukem 3D over 14.4k modems.
But Bioshock was a massive exception. The gameplay WOULD probably translate really well to multiplayer, but the game rocked because of it's attention to detail, thought-provoking storyline and many complex characters. Running around zapping very un-complex noobs doesn't sound very thought provoking to me. I have CoD4 for that. CO-OP would be awesome though - Sk8SkaNJ, on 08/01/2008, -0/+2I don't think the game really needs a well developed multiplayer. I'd rather them just slap together a deathmatch or team deathmatch mode with some reworked singleplayer maps to keep people in.
