- Witchboy, on 03/12/2008, -9/+45You do realize he was making a clever reference to the game, right?
- skidme, on 03/12/2008, -18/+6Really? OMG get out...and I thought the people discussing Bioshock on Digg are just really polite....

- yohan, on 03/12/2008, -2/+5Clever? Ugh. It's almost as bad as the "Cake is a lie!!11 omg i r funnyz!!" comments..

- strictnein, on 03/12/2008, -4/+3Well, I'll bump the release date up for those that didn't RTFA:
"fourth-quarter fiscal 2009 release date. Take-Two's fiscal year ends October 31, so expect it to hit unspecified platforms (read: Xbox 360) before the '09 holidays."
So, we could be talking July - Sept, 2009.- lotrtrotk, on 03/12/2008, -0/+7You're assuming a lot to think it will actually meet the release date.
- ausfahrt, on 03/13/2008, -0/+1PC too :)
- JettaMan, on 03/12/2008, -7/+5Maybe this time the game will take on the folly of Socialism and show how it leads (correction, led to) the deaths of more people in the 20th century than any other political belief.
- thomasprebble, on 03/12/2008, -1/+4Would you kindly STFU?
- socialismEVIL, on 03/14/2008, -0/+1Just because socialism has NEVER worked is no reason not to continue trying it
- stonedgeek, on 03/12/2008, -0/+4No, take your time and make it the best it possibly can be.
- skidme, on 03/12/2008, -45/+10Would you kindly stop using "would you kindly"?
- PATSCRU, on 03/12/2008, -35/+12*****, i gotta finish up the first one like now. Anyone else felt like the end kind of fizzled? I couldn't will myself to finish it from all the "meh" i was experiencing. It was an astounding game nonetheless, one of my favorite PC experiences last year. Just my .02 careful with that bury finger.
- cougar618, on 03/12/2008, -21/+3careful with that bury finger.
with that bury finger.
with that bury
that bury
bury - DeathJux, on 03/12/2008, -5/+22No, it was a great game all the way through. If a freaking video game can't hold your attention for the ~13 hours it takes to beat it, you need to learn to settle down, or to only play it for bites at a time.
- Rev0lver, on 03/12/2008, -5/+13The game was great, but looking back there were some major gameplay flaws. It was fetch quest after fetch quest, the readily available supply of ammo vita-chambers made it far too easy [I am aware of the option to take them out], and the novelty of fighting a Big Daddy kind of wore off after you fought one for the 40238420th time, especially since the weapons later on completely bitch them. Don't get me wrong - I loved the story, loved the atmosphere, and loved the game; but the gameplay was simply too watered down, especially when you realize that this game was supposed to be a spiritual successor to Bioshock. Yes, I'm ready to get buried.
- Rev0lver, on 03/12/2008, -3/+14My mistake - I meant to say System Shock 2 at the end, not Bioshock.
- AussieFox, on 03/12/2008, -0/+3Agree, I've played both System Shock 1 and 2 to death, but felt that this just didn't match up to them. I mean no inventory? WTF couldn't I store up my wine and ***** to get plastered all at once?
- mugicha, on 03/12/2008, -5/+4One of the suckier comments I've seen in a while.
- Shanobi, on 03/12/2008, -1/+0Wow, a super great looking FPS. Wow.
That's exciting, innit?
- Shanobi, on 03/12/2008, -1/+0Wow, a super great looking FPS. Wow.
- sLydE, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1It's a thumb.
- TheOneTrueGod, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1So on a hand you have four fingers and a thumb?
- sLydE, on 03/13/2008, -0/+1yep.
- TheOneTrueGod, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1So on a hand you have four fingers and a thumb?
- BabyWookie, on 03/13/2008, -0/+1Bioshock is boring as *****. I still can't bring myself to finish it. I had the same problem with SS2 though.
- cougar618, on 03/12/2008, -21/+3careful with that bury finger.
- robalesi, on 03/12/2008, -18/+35Online Multiplayer, if you wouldn't mind.
- AshamedAmerican, on 03/12/2008, -4/+98Would you kindly?
- TheCaterpillar, on 03/12/2008, -1/+60I personally like the fact that BS was an exclusively singleplayer game. I would rather have the team put more time into the epic singleplayer game then try to whip together a ***** Metroid Prime 2-esque multi player mode.
- salmonmoose, on 03/12/2008, -0/+14Agreed, the multiplayer in SS2 was pretty half baked, you lost most of what the game was about.
Bolting multiplayer onto single player games is as stupid as bolting single player onto multiplayer games :)- GawtMilk, on 03/12/2008, -2/+1I thought Counter-Strike's single player was brilliant.
Oh wait.
- GawtMilk, on 03/12/2008, -2/+1I thought Counter-Strike's single player was brilliant.
- JudgeMonkey, on 03/12/2008, -0/+11Yeah, if they have any extra time to create multiplayer, it should instead be funneled into releasing it sooner.
- mortey, on 03/12/2008, -0/+14I'd prefer just the good ole' single player. Maybe co-op?
- MasterGrief, on 03/12/2008, -0/+4While coop would undoubtedly be a great deal of fun, you must consider that Bioshock is all about isolation. The majority of the things that happen to you in the first game are only as creepy as they are because you're alone--Having a buddy not disfigured in both mind and body doesn't seem like it would work so well with the game.
- Plinkotic, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1Except they could easily add more clues to be found, and make the coop aspect have a dialogue part between you and your friend, different discussion options leading to more clues or directions or whatever. I dunno.
I'm thinking of the room you walk into with the two corpses on the mattress and the final log about Masha's transformation. That scene, with two people in the room, discussing it and the previous events or scenes. Something like that.
- Plinkotic, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1Except they could easily add more clues to be found, and make the coop aspect have a dialogue part between you and your friend, different discussion options leading to more clues or directions or whatever. I dunno.

- LastDitchHero, on 03/12/2008, -1/+5IMO Bioshock doesn't lend itself to a good multiplayer experience but co-op, that is another story
- DarkSamus, on 03/12/2008, -1/+1ahem, what was that again big boy?
ok i admit it, it was ***** - KenAer, on 03/12/2008, -0/+4Co-Op. Would you kindly.
- L4WL3RS34L, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1The only problem with having an exclusively singleplayer game is that like 50% of the people don't have a reason to buy the game so they just download it if they can get the full experience for free.
- salmonmoose, on 03/12/2008, -0/+14Agreed, the multiplayer in SS2 was pretty half baked, you lost most of what the game was about.
- BJLStorm, on 03/12/2008, -0/+13Multiplayer just doesn't work for these titles. They are meant to be a single player experience.
- antdude, on 03/12/2008, -1/+3How will multiplayer work? Co-Op?
- stonedgeek, on 03/12/2008, -1/+1What, like Bioshock deathmatch or something? That would not be smart. Co-op would be nice though.
- YellowSnowDemon, on 03/12/2008, -0/+4Do NOT ruin such an amazing, atmospheric singleplayer FPS by adding in a generic multiplayer. Let Halo and Call of Duty do the multiplayer stuff. Much like Metroid, BioShock is meant to be played alone.
- lcmatt, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1Multiplayer would be the worst idea 2K could ever have. Think about all those little annoying kids running around freezing you constantly then smashing you to bits with a wrench.

- x0mb13, on 03/12/2008, -0/+3I dont think they can make a bad ass multi player experience that can truly compete with current console fps. Id much rather they focus their efforts on making the best possible single player experience.
- knor, on 03/12/2008, -10/+4so does that mean that "concept art" is officially official?
- Protoss, on 03/12/2008, -1/+3If it's already dated, I'm guessing they've got the story and whatnot worked out and are now developing the game.
- l0k0, on 03/12/2008, -4/+62Hopefully players will have actual choices to make like they originally advertised, beyond choosing to harvest or rescue the little sisters.
I'm probably in the minority, but I'd like the sequel to bring back the depth and rpg elements from System Shock 2 as well. However, due to games trying to appeal to the casual, rather than hardcore gamer these days, I'm not getting my hopes up on that one.
Regardless, I'm still excited to see where they go with the plasmids, narrative, and general gameplay mechanics. Best of luck through development.- superkendall, on 03/12/2008, -5/+8You wouldn't be in the minority if more people had played System Shock 2. I was kind of disappointed myself in the lack of meaningful choice (both in internal and story development) in Bioshock.
I think a lot of people would enjoy a game more like that. - Moshcrates, on 03/12/2008, -11/+4Sounds like someone saw the Yahtzee review
- Ayavaron, on 03/12/2008, -3/+15Perhaps you were not aware that people can have an opinion without hearing it from someone else first?
- estvir, on 03/12/2008, -1/+3Surely you jest?
- Moshcrates, on 03/12/2008, -2/+1It was a joke on the similarities between his opinion and the review.
Perhaps you were not aware that people can be sarcastic on the internet
- AussieFox, on 03/12/2008, -0/+2More like someone's played System Shock 1 and/or 2
- B1663r, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1Um, Yahtzee said it was GOTY...
- Moshcrates, on 03/12/2008, -1/+1Did you watch the rest of the review? He had bad things to say also
- Ayavaron, on 03/12/2008, -3/+15Perhaps you were not aware that people can have an opinion without hearing it from someone else first?
- toppgun, on 03/12/2008, -1/+1I hope it is a prequel and not a sequel.
p.s. I want to play system shock (2) but the damn game wont install in vista. same deal with No one lives forever: a spy in harms way.- Jaydenn, on 03/16/2008, -0/+0I don't think System shock 2 works with Vista at all.I have had SS2 working good on XP, including internet 3 player coop ! now that was a blast, one tech guy one Marine and one psionics guy but it did not stop there you can forge you character how ever you want to I could repair weapons and hack stuff and kick the crap out of things with my light saber. What a great game !
No way will Bioshock ever have so much depth and RPG elements as was once said "they need to dumb it down for the console tards"

- Sozzi, on 03/12/2008, -13/+4a little late on the submit are we?
- Zanarkand, on 03/12/2008, -10/+19The first was great. The first half of the game was probably one of the best experiences ever in gaming. The second half after the "plot twist", the story just kinda fell of, still one of the best games ever but just kinda disappointed with the 2nd half of the story. I am looking forward to the sequel though.
- Protoss, on 03/12/2008, -5/+17Seriously? I was amazed by every moment of the game.
- scabbers, on 03/12/2008, -13/+9You need to play some older games, son.
- fasda, on 03/12/2008, -5/+18you need to stop remembering old games with a tinted view
- scabbers, on 03/12/2008, -4/+6Diggs up or down won't change the fact that System Shock 2 pisses all over Bioshock.
- wageslaven, on 03/12/2008, -4/+3Sorry, I disagree. Bioshock was a fantastic game -- at every level.
It deserves the 96/100 average review on Metacritic *and* the stacks of Game of the Year awards.

the biggest problem I had, is they were designing the little sisters for a long time right? And then the end is a little cinematic revolving completely around them. So I have to wonder, how would the game have ended if the little sisters were still those wormy things? - GFX1003, on 03/12/2008, -0/+3I am actually hoping that Bioshock 2 is a prequel and you get to play in the city before things went wrong and as things are going wrong.
- BabyWookie, on 03/13/2008, -1/+1Bioshock is boring as *****. I still can't bring myself to finish it. I had the same problem with SS2 though.

- NinjaPirateDude, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1what they should've done was waited and said BioShock 2 Is Very Official, Dated For Tommorow Bitches!
- ineptsavant, on 03/12/2008, -2/+23I'm hoping they add a grey area to this one; on the morality choices. In fact I hope that all the endings are damn near variations of grey. Meaning when you're presented with a choice you're torn between the two or more options; they're all justifiable in your head; in fact they may be two bad choices but you have to pick the lesser of two evils. I loved bioshock; but the much touted morality choices were on the extremes of black and white.
- ShinRaTDR, on 03/12/2008, -1/+4I saw that Zero Punctuation, too.
- CerMakAlot, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1You should check out mass effect. Tons of moral ambiguity.
- mamboboy, on 03/12/2008, -17/+5The first was such a let down. After the first couple of hours it felt like a chore. SYSTEM SHOCK 3 is what we want god damnit!!
- TheOneTrueGod, on 03/12/2008, -1/+1That comment should be in the +. Definitely.

- petebot, on 03/12/2008, -2/+36Here's hoping they don't ***** it up!
- KevinRWright, on 03/12/2008, -2/+4word.
- endlessoul, on 03/12/2008, -4/+6Sorry, digg me down. Wrong comment.
- Phillycat81, on 03/12/2008, -0/+6It was only inevitable. I'm surprised it isn't coming any earlier. At least they are taking their time to make sure everything is on point.
- cyclopssmiley, on 03/12/2008, -0/+6I wonder what it will be about seeing as there were 2 endings to the first one, which will thye build off and what will the plot be!?
- Pillage, on 03/12/2008, -1/+4Probably the same way Mass Effect 2 is going to do it.
- KevinRWright, on 03/12/2008, -0/+11I heard a bunch of rumors about it being a prequel that tells the story of the war between Ryan and Fountain and basically everything leading up to BioShock. Probably bs, but that wouldn't be a bad way to go about this one.
- bweltondav, on 03/12/2008, -0/+6where did you hear these rumors? i am intrigued...
- KevinRWright, on 03/12/2008, -0/+4Blog spam mainly. Google "BioShock Prequel". The internet is saturated with rumors about it, a lot of people were talking about it on Digg almost immediately after the original came out last summer. Again, I'm not saying it's true at all, you know how the internet is with rumors. It would be an interesting way of following up this game though.
- strictnein, on 03/12/2008, -1/+4Personally, I was talking about it at the time because the whole time I was playing BioShock I was thinking about what the city must have been like before it went to hell.

- SharkyTech, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1I'm hoping they don't take that option, the skill was in putting the pieces there for the player to put together how it all went down.
- bweltondav, on 03/12/2008, -0/+6where did you hear these rumors? i am intrigued...
- Reaper2806, on 03/12/2008, -1/+1I would definately prefer a prequel following the fall of rapture and the emergence of the plasmids etc. I'd like it to start with life fairly pleasant and peaceful on the surface with whispers of the corruption and smuggling etc before it collapses into Chaos.
- knodi, on 03/12/2008, -10/+9Will this one be 360 exclusive too?
- BJLStorm, on 03/12/2008, -5/+15The first one wasn't 360 exclusive. It was on PC as well.
- wageslaven, on 03/12/2008, -7/+7Many people -- gamers and industry people alike -- consider the PC (mac/Windows/Linux) and Consoles different markets.
The word "exclusive" in this context, means exclusive to the Xbox 360 *console* as in "on no other console".
Stop splitting hairs, you know damn well what he means.- WhereAmI, on 03/12/2008, -3/+7They're not. Anyway another review said a PS3 version was possible.
- lcmatt, on 03/12/2008, -0/+3Microsoft exclusive. (360/PC) as I'm sure MS will throw a boat load of cash to 2K again.
- theaceoffire, on 03/12/2008, -1/+1If they release a PS3 version, I promise to buy two of them... So PLEASE let us get some love!
- WhereAmI, on 03/12/2008, -3/+7They're not. Anyway another review said a PS3 version was possible.
- NYC10004, on 03/12/2008, -0/+0Does it really need to be stated that the PC is not in composition with the 360? Does "exclusive to the console" really need to be written out every time for people so they don't feel left out or threatened?
- Jektal, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1Yes. As a PC gamer it makes a huge difference whether or not a game is going to be release on the PC, or just the 360 OR just the PS3.
- wageslaven, on 03/12/2008, -7/+7Many people -- gamers and industry people alike -- consider the PC (mac/Windows/Linux) and Consoles different markets.
- theaceoffire, on 03/12/2008, -2/+3My head says yes, my heart says "please, no".
- theaceoffire, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1I know it probably won't affect anything, but I went to take-two interactive and asked for PS3 support:
http://preview.tinyurl.com/232lcf

If they release this for PS3, I would dance for a week.
- theaceoffire, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1I know it probably won't affect anything, but I went to take-two interactive and asked for PS3 support:
- transitive, on 03/12/2008, -1/+8if by 360 exclusive you mean also on PC.
- BabyWookie, on 03/13/2008, -0/+1Console exclusive, PS3 fanboi.
- BJLStorm, on 03/12/2008, -5/+15The first one wasn't 360 exclusive. It was on PC as well.
- JoshuaLowe, on 03/12/2008, -1/+222K Marin? Are the 2K Boston (aka Irrational) team who made Bioshock 1 still going to be a part of it? If no, then that sucks. Those are the System Shock team members, taking Bioshock away from them is a mistake.
- cqdemal, on 03/12/2008, -1/+6Most of the BioShock team moved from 2K Boston to 2K Marin, leaving Ken Levine behind.
Maybe the game won't suck, but I don't have high hopes for BioShock 2's story anymore without Levine at the helm. - mortey, on 03/12/2008, -0/+5Yeah, I'm disappointed. I think Levine is the reason it is a success. It would be hard for anyone else to pull that off.
- wageslaven, on 03/12/2008, -3/+3People are excited about Final Fantasy, buy Sakaguchi left Square.
Guitar Hero III sold like gang-busters, and got good reviews, and Harmonix had nothing to do with it.
Why do I have the feeling it wont matter who does this Xbox 360 exclusive, because maybe you cant play it?- WhereAmI, on 03/12/2008, -1/+5Its not 360 exclusive. Its not anything right now. But will most likely be on the PC and 360. PC...
- cqdemal, on 03/12/2008, -1/+6Most of the BioShock team moved from 2K Boston to 2K Marin, leaving Ken Levine behind.
- Dyabolik, on 03/12/2008, -0/+26A man chooses....a slave obeys!
I can't wait for this. - Mikhail101, on 03/12/2008, -1/+5It better not suck, you would have to work super hard to outdo the first.
- mugicha, on 03/12/2008, -0/+3I'd be happy with more of the same. Bioshock kicked ass.
- sickswaystop, on 03/12/2008, -0/+5i cant wait for this game i imagine the graphics looking ultra realistic by that time too
- TheJokerV, on 03/12/2008, -2/+9I don't know about this. The story felt kind of complete to me. There was a beginning, middle and end. Maybe they should just focus on creating another great game like Bioshock instead of just focusing on sequels. The gaming world would be much better off if companies focused on creating original games and storylines instead of continuously trying milk a franchise.
- jonnyeuchre, on 03/12/2008, -20/+6Bioshock is the chinese food of the video game industry. Looks great, tastes great, but a few hours later...***** boring.
Arcade games are dead. Massive online gameplay is the future.- CaptainM4d, on 03/12/2008, -1/+9Did we play the same game? To me, Bioshock was a thoroughly awesome game. Don't let Fontaine get you down!
- jonnyeuchre, on 03/12/2008, -4/+1Really, I prefer BF 2 multiplayer any day.
- TheKage, on 03/12/2008, -1/+4That's your choice, have fun with BF2.
- jonnyeuchre, on 03/12/2008, -4/+1Really, I prefer BF 2 multiplayer any day.
- gmprunner, on 03/12/2008, -0/+4I don't think chinese food looks that great.
- Pyromite78, on 03/12/2008, -1/+1Why bury the truth... this game was ok.. it had great cinematography and reminded me of House on Haunted Hill or even Universal's Halloween Horror Nights with the way splicers would come from nowhere or you would see there shadows or hear them talking from afar.. other than that the story line was bizarre and didn't make a lot of sense to me. Genetic splicing in post WW II era? Yeah right. That makes sense.. ***** we didn't even have TV then let alone geneticists.
- ShinRaTDR, on 03/12/2008, -1/+1thats a terrible, terrible analogy.
- Pyromite78, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1spoken like a fanboy.
- ShinRaTDR, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1chineese food fanboy. Chicken balls ftw.
(disclosure, never played bioshock)
the crappy part of the analogy is the part where you call your food boring, multiple hours later.
- ShinRaTDR, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1chineese food fanboy. Chicken balls ftw.
- Pyromite78, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1spoken like a fanboy.
- CaptainM4d, on 03/12/2008, -1/+9Did we play the same game? To me, Bioshock was a thoroughly awesome game. Don't let Fontaine get you down!
- mryokai, on 03/12/2008, -1/+10No Ken Levine...has me a little worried
- Rev0lver, on 03/12/2008, -0/+6Ken is involved with this project. http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/51706
- mryokai, on 03/12/2008, -0/+6Oh. Then count me excited =3
- Rev0lver, on 03/12/2008, -0/+6Ken is involved with this project. http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/51706
- Rev0lver, on 03/12/2008, -0/+9I would LOVE for a prequel a la STALKER: Clear Sky. Imagine playing and witnessing the downfall of Rapture? Oh man, that'd be awesome.
- wageslaven, on 03/12/2008, -3/+3I agree. I'd ove to see it go from utopia and then fall to pieces.
- deadbaby, on 03/12/2008, -6/+5Sweet... more sequels. When Bioshock first came out I was really worried the FPS gaming industry might be moving towards original ideas instead of the puke-em-out sequels I love so dearly. I can't wait to play Portal +1, Half Life +1, Call of Duty +1, BattleField [insert any year post-dating invention of the gun] Keep em coming boys.
- KevinRWright, on 03/12/2008, -1/+5Strangely I can't tell if you are being honest or sarcastic.
- Syphon8, on 03/12/2008, -0/+7There's like 6 Half Life games...
- YellowSnowDemon, on 03/12/2008, -2/+2There's two half-life games, and four expansions.
- Jimmeeee, on 03/12/2008, -2/+5To be fair, Valve's games aren't puked out. To say that Half-Life 2 was a puked-out version of Half-Life 1 is absurd. If you're referring to the Episodes, think of them as Expansion Packs, not sequels. It's what they are, after all.
- toppgun, on 03/12/2008, -0/+3although episode 1 was disappointing everything else valve puts out is awesome
- drtyfrnk, on 03/12/2008, -3/+6This is the only time where TITLE SAYS IT ALL should be used.
- Pillage, on 03/12/2008, -0/+16Well this came as a shock to no one.
- spiritditch, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1as a system shock to no one?
- Seann7656, on 03/12/2008, -13/+2Hopefully It wont be as boring and repetative as the original.
I still dont see why Bioshock got game of the year...- wageslaven, on 03/12/2008, -3/+6You clearly didnt play it. Please, if you dont own an Xbox 360 or have played the game, why dont you skip the nonsense comments?
BioShock got 96/100 on metacritic and has PILES of Game of the Year awards.
You're clearly _wrong_.- WhereAmI, on 03/12/2008, -4/+3Maybe he played it on a PC, like everyone should have.
- retawd, on 03/12/2008, -1/+2That is sooo true. Playing an FPS with a controller is like wearing handcuffs.
- WhereAmI, on 03/12/2008, -4/+3Maybe he played it on a PC, like everyone should have.

- brodycrider, on 03/12/2008, -5/+3release dates don't mean ***** anymore, so don't expect but then. they'll be too busy perfecting it.
- ConquistadorFor, on 03/12/2008, -9/+1time for EA spam
i love crap junk ea games
they will now spam games
Bioshack will lose the reputation it got last year
EA should really stop screwing all brands.. - kru1e, on 03/12/2008, -0/+20Welcome to the circus of values!
- krackajap, on 03/12/2008, -2/+5Is System Shock 3 too much to hope for? I'm dying for a worthwhile Cyberpunk game. I know Deus Ex 3 is being made but i really don't much much hope for it, considering how Invisible War turned out.
- Dantetheinferno, on 03/12/2008, -1/+2Bioshock pretty much was the System Shock 3 =.
- krackajap, on 03/12/2008, -1/+2steampunk != cyberpunk for me
- AussieFox, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1Bioshock was NOT a 'Systemshock 3'
- Dantetheinferno, on 03/12/2008, -1/+2Bioshock pretty much was the System Shock 3 =.
- DanPlainview, on 03/12/2008, -1/+3This is a bad idea. I'm not going to knock the game before it comes out or anything, but this sure as hell is putting a lot of weight on 2k Marin's shoulders. If this game isn't the greatest ***** game to grace our consoles ever, then 2k will never hear the end of it.
- diggerman32, on 03/12/2008, -1/+4If this ruins Bioshock for me imma kick 2k's ass
- hobbitsareneat, on 03/12/2008, -1/+5Dugg x 5 million!!! Loved the first game.. can't wait for the sequel.
- kaeppler, on 03/12/2008, -0/+8Call a bathysphere. I'm in.
- BJLStorm, on 03/12/2008, -8/+6PS3?
- danieldeejay, on 03/12/2008, -2/+5PS3 has Metal Gear Solid, let us XBOX owners have Bioshock..OK?! :-)
- toppgun, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1xbox also has halo, forza, pgr, dead rising, gears of war and mass effect just to name a few.
- Cenobia, on 03/12/2008, -2/+2Well actually Bioshock is multi-platform since its on the PC as well (like Gears of War and Mass Effect). You still have Halo, though.
- theaceoffire, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1Look, there are technical issues moving MGS to the 360. It is a large game. It can be done, but it might loose a lot of quality.
The only reason Bioshock was not on the PS3 was because of bribes.
- danieldeejay, on 03/12/2008, -2/+5PS3 has Metal Gear Solid, let us XBOX owners have Bioshock..OK?! :-)
- Rodman930, on 03/12/2008, -4/+5***** YEAH!!!
(I actually said this out loud when I read the title.)- JamesMorris, on 03/12/2008, -2/+2Thanks for letting me know..

- hobbitsareneat, on 03/12/2008, -0/+5a FISTFUL OF BEES.
- sg7791, on 03/12/2008, -1/+6a FISTFUL OF CHEESEBURGERS.

- Quote737, on 03/12/2008, -0/+7All I can say is, "Don't mess up one of the most amazing games of the decade. Please? Or would you kindly?"
- johanrocks, on 03/12/2008, -0/+3I wish they hadn't announced it yet. I mean, Q4 2009. I don't want to be anticipating it till then. I'll just get myself all hyped up and I know I will be disappointed if I do that.
- danieldeejay, on 03/12/2008, -0/+4I just played Bioshock through cant wait for part 2 ,really Bioshock is ART!
- neil1492, on 03/12/2008, -2/+4I haven't even finished the first BioShock. What I have played of it I do love. I wish it had more sticking power though...it kinda got shoved to the side when I got Forza 2, Burnout Paradise, and Call of Duty 4....I haven't even touched Halo 3 yet. Has anyone figured out how to add that 25th hour to a day? I better figure that out before GTA IV comes out. TOOO MANY GAMES!
- MasterGrief, on 03/12/2008, -0/+3Did you buy them all at once? Forza 2 was out at the end of May, Bioshock was in the end of August, Halo 3 came out at the end of September, Call of Duty came out a few weeks after that, Burnout Paradise came out at the end of January and GTA IV comes out at the very end of April. While I definitely know how you feel in situations like this, the video game release rush ended months ago.
- B1663r, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1Wow, you must be more hard core than me, and that is saying something... I can think of 5-6 games right off the top of my head (and i don't like racing games...) that I still want to play through, and I purchased or rented everything you guys just listed there, only I purchased Orange Box, Rock Band, and Ace Combat as well.
I don't do the all weekend long gaming sessions any more, but It would be fair to say I spend a couple hours just about every day playing games.
Then there are some things like Oblivion... Woah there are a couple gigs of add ons I havent played through yet... I could pick up that game and start all over again.
And I just some how accidently spent a couple of weeks spending all my game time playing n+... which isn't even a real game, it is a retro modern mini game...

- GOVATENT, on 03/12/2008, -0/+5I don't care what other people prefer (and most fps are doom with skins on them anyways) i fell in love with bioshock after playing the demo. (which sent my 360 to the repair center mid demo) I can't wait for number 2.
- Pyromite78, on 03/12/2008, -3/+1"I can't wait for number 2."
Then I suggest adding more fiber to your diet!
- Pyromite78, on 03/12/2008, -3/+1"I can't wait for number 2."
- xobarbarian, on 03/12/2008, -0/+6I'd digg this twice if I could...
- sixthree, on 03/12/2008, -1/+1Well I buried it so your digg now means nothing.
- modifiedbears, on 03/12/2008, -10/+4Bioshock is very overrated. It should have been praised for the outstanding art style and nothing else. They just took System Shock and dolled it up.
- transitive, on 03/12/2008, -0/+3i think its the best single player FPS game i've ever played, including all the half-life and halo games. single player mind you. SINGLE PLAYER. thats a type of gaming experience that lives or dies by the quality of its art direction and story, and bioshock has the best art direction and story of any single player FPS game ever.
- Cenobia, on 03/12/2008, -1/+2Bioshock better than Half Life?
You sir, are mistaken. - sixthree, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1How can you even put Half-Life and Halo in the same category?
- wafflesomd, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1Welp, you pretty much suck. Bioshock was a pretty shallow game.
- Cenobia, on 03/12/2008, -1/+2Bioshock better than Half Life?
- Pyromite78, on 03/12/2008, -2/+1redugg because Bioshock Fanboy's tried to bury a statement of fact.

- facelesscoward, on 03/12/2008, -0/+2Sequels make me queasy. Hope they don't screw this up.
- Pyromite78, on 03/12/2008, -7/+2Bioshock wasn't that great of a game. I got bored with it after 3 hours.
- B1663r, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1Good news! Xbox is gonna have another round of price drops soon and if you start saving your allowance now, you will get to play;)
- Pyromite78, on 03/12/2008, -0/+1I own an Xbox 360 you douche.

- infoDRONE, on 03/12/2008, -3/+3A few suggestions for the BioShock team:
- If you're going to MSRP your next game for $50, please at least make sure there is some replay value in the form of ONLINE PLAY or mod support. Jesus christ it's the frickin 2000's!
- Try to put out a patch weekly until your user complaints die down - like everybody else does. Don't leave people hanging for months at a time! I bought BS 3 months after release and people were still waiting for a patch after complaining on release day.
- Keep it up with the art deco theme. That's why I bought BS in the first place, and will probably grab BS2 on release day regardless of the above 2 complaints.- spyd3rweb, on 03/12/2008, -0/+2Good rant :)
