You can literally make a 3D paper model of anything you can create in the virtual realm. I wonder if you could figure out a way to smooth the model after you build it. Maybe use thin plastic pieces instead of paper, and then smooth it with Bondo or something similar after it's done. Seems like you would be able to make all kinds of cool stuff.
