- becominglumberg, on 10/12/2007, -14/+110No, thats a yummy guacamole they sell at Trader Joe's. You were thinking of Avogadro's number.
- nanos, on 10/12/2007, -8/+97My thoughts exactly. Nice of him to tell us when to "LOL!" but I think I can decide for myself.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+79Rockstar's explanation of plane crashes in the game:
"Planes, like the rest of San Andreas, are drawn around the main character as he moves through the state. In Los Santos, you'll see high-flying commercial jets thousands of feet in the air. On the beaches of Santa Marina, there might be the occasional flyby of a biplane. Out in the country, smaller private aircraft are constantly buzzing around. When we first implemented the feature, we found that every once in a while a plane would spawn with a trajectory that led it directly into the side of a mountain or right into the ground. And we loved it, so it stayed." - BadassCheese, on 10/12/2007, -13/+91mousy, you could have just said 1/mole.
- anonym41414, on 10/12/2007, -21/+89Ah, yes. Avocado's number.
- coolspray, on 10/12/2007, -8/+75I know it's fun trying out windows movie maker and all, but we don't need to commentary to see what's going on.
- onikage, on 10/12/2007, -5/+44This is digg, the html sarcasm tag would suffice.
- ellemenopee, on 10/12/2007, -2/+40It was an accident... I think that's the point. He certainly isn't saying that he tried to hit the plane.
- Easty, on 10/12/2007, -3/+41Are planes coming down in GTA meant to happen, or are they glitches?
It happened to me once - a plane actually crashed straight into my car. In the middle of Los Santos. - gorilla, on 10/12/2007, -2/+36Actually it was originally posted on http://gtafour.org in 2004. He is recording it thru TV so it was done on PS2 version (no mods, scripting was done). Shows how random GTA can be :)
- Mizzy, on 10/12/2007, -11/+42What are the chances of that?
- bairy, on 10/12/2007, -6/+37What's even cooler than the coincidental timing is the fact the plane follows psyhics, i.e. fell downwards.
Shame the propeller wasn't but I don't suppose they never anticipated that happening. - kavery, on 10/12/2007, -4/+33This is why we must squash terrorism or all our recreational vehicles will be lost.
- Klarth, on 10/12/2007, -40/+69Anyone likely to care about this has probably seen it already.
- friend18, on 10/12/2007, -2/+28It's crazy that that happened and I find it even crazier that something so rare would happen while your recording. Cool vid.
- crazycrazypete, on 10/12/2007, -6/+31Then your days must generally be very, very boring.
- andyrobo60, on 10/12/2007, -2/+26He should have stole it.
- 5blocksfree, on 10/12/2007, -8/+33It's teh t3rr0r1st!!111
- praisethelard, on 06/06/2008, -10/+31@onikage:
Actually, it'd be XML. - adml_shake, on 10/12/2007, -9/+29wait a second....they was on here a few months ago and they said it was a accident...which one is it?
- ammoniaslip, on 10/12/2007, -3/+20Instead of, say, "falling upwards"?
- Gus1, on 10/12/2007, -3/+19This is why GTA is one of the best gaming franchises right now. I can't wait for a complete online mode when GTA 4 comes out. Meanwhile I have ( http://www.sa-mp.com/ ) San Andreas multiplayer to keep me busy.

- molsen311, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16no, he's not. it's very hard to control vehicles in GTA in a straight line going very fast on a narrow pathway. he did a helluvalot better than i can do. it would be impossible to time out that collision anyways.
- affanjam, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14It's a sign.....
- BETRAMS, on 10/12/2007, -8/+21Just like your comment is going to get burried, and most likely mine as well.
:P - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14Especially with crappy text effects. Seriously...how many times have we seen that one text effect where there's HUGE text in the foreground going from right to left and there's two more sets of smaller text in the background going opposite ways...?
- resplence, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14I cared for it and had never seen it before, so what's your point?
- Providence, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13Or what's worse: Blue background, white Arial font. I'd estimate 25 percent of the internet's videos use this.
- jellygraph, on 10/12/2007, -5/+15wtf???
bloody retard - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10a bit of both :P
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+12Article and Videos about/of plane crashes in San Andreas:
http://planetgrandtheftauto.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Articles.Detail&id=2 - Valnar300, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Planes crashing is a simple matter of weight ratios.
Seriously though, the planes in GTASA are meant to spawn near you every once in a while, at a certain height so that it feels like a real world with real people flying real planes you can actually see. If you're at the top of Mt. Chilliad they'll crash into the rocks behind you, same thing in the city. He was just at the right height and right area for the plane to be near him.
In simple terms, a wierd coincidence. - MaSC, on 10/12/2007, -5/+12People who haven't seen it before dugg it.
Geez, I don't understand how people who see something on digg assume everyone else have seen it too.
You know what? Not everyone spends 24/7 glued to the front page of digg some people miss content due to that thing called life, Get one.
Sorry, I would not be normally so aggressive to such a innocent question but it's the bloody forth or fifth in the bloody thread. The first guy made the point. - cryonix, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7actually pretty high! I was running around and heard a loud explosion, i couldn't find where it was coming from, because it was coming from above me. a plane had crashed into a skyscraper and fell on to me a few seconds later. also one time doing the bike race on mt chiliad, i plane has slammed into the couple other racers in front of me. 2 times something like that has happened to me. and more than enough times have i heard but not seen a plane crash and explode in the distance
- foolfromhell, on 10/12/2007, -5/+11Its people like you who treat "diggs" as currency that make it easy for others to game digg.
- MaSC, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9who hasn't seen this by now (several times, even)? I had my hopes up for something new...
----------
er the people who dugg? - MeltedUFO, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Anyone got a Youtube or Google Video Mirror? College Humor is blocked on my filter.
- keesj, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Or he just watched the video right before 00:00 AM
- thestorey, on 10/12/2007, -8/+12I have seen on many ocasions planes crash into skyscrapers and i jusy giggle
- moofer, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5It's pwned; misspell it right
- gorilla, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6@Wootery: the Xbox version wasn't even out in 2004.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTYs40nj6rw
- milk93rd, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5You know there's a bury option for that, right? It's a little drop down box under the story, next to the topic.
- MaSC, on 10/12/2007, -8/+11@Cojawfee
The fact it made it to front page of digg today disproves that statement right there. - pegisys, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5I think it was a bug, but it was cool seeing plans crash for no reason every now and then :)
- Phlag, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I think it's sort of ironic that people keep complaining that this has been on the front page before, yet their exact complaint has already been posted ten times by other people.
If you agree with their sentiments, digg them up andor reply to their comment. But posting a new comment that is essentially identical to so many others is just hypocritical. - Murphy71984, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I was flying the plane.
