(I'm at lvl 18) However there are serious lag isues sometimes. The graphics in this game are awesome, definetely worth checking out, you have nothing to lose anyways, it's free.

The new server Aegea, is being opened RIGHT NOW! By the time you read this, it should be up and running. Another great thing is that IPs from Japan, Korea, and Taiwan will be blocked from this server! (Those 3 countries make up roughly 80% of current SilkRoad players)

- nocre, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I seem to recall Gravity stating that their sprite-based MMO "Ragnarok Online" would be free forever, too. Well. It wasn't. That's how far my experience with Korean-based gaming companies goes. On the bright side, there are an absolute horde of free servers, easily set up, and Gravity has thus far been horrendously unsucessful in having them taken down, not for lack of threats of lawsuits (which ruled against Gravity).
Ragnarok Online 2 is actually 3D. Amazing. And it'll cost $15/month, too.
However, this is free and it's relatively pretty. I haven't tried it out, but I might. I can overlook the engrish-ridden storyline I'm sure it'll entail, but if the gameplay sucks, then it sucks period. - jasonchute, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'll give it a shot.
