- Vaughanabe13, on 04/11/2008, -3/+101This is one of those things that is incredibly awesome even though there is absolutely no reason for it.
- g33kfu, on 04/11/2008, -2/+68He built this thing for Engadget, and somehow we get some Gizmodo blogspam...
Original story here (with more pics):
http://www.engadget.com/2008/04/10/the-ps3-laptop- ... - Dylson, on 04/11/2008, -4/+64Well smack my ass and call me sally.
- getrealnow, on 04/11/2008, -3/+54Hello, Sally
- Chebsi, on 04/11/2008, -4/+49Now I can grill on the go!
- YourPal, on 04/11/2008, -1/+37Holy skills. I bet that can mod this into a laptop gun too.
- fantasticFlan, on 04/11/2008, -1/+35Someone's telling him to be patient, but no, he ain't havin' that.
- tnt8897, on 04/11/2008, -9/+32that thing is freeking sweet. i defiantly would not have the patience to do that
- shawn1122, on 04/11/2008, -3/+25Defiant? Seriously?? That doesnt even sound like definite when you sound it out...
- cthellis, on 04/11/2008, -1/+22You don't even care about being called Sally anymore, do you?
- lostgiddy, on 04/11/2008, -3/+22This Laptop makes more sense then the Xbox version. The Keyboard on the Xbox does not have many uses. The Keyboard on PS3 can be used with the Web Browser and Linux which would be mint!
- mywhitenoise, on 04/11/2008, -6/+25But about 30x more useful...and this is coming from someone who has been using macs for years.
- Psythik, on 04/11/2008, -2/+18I like to insert stray commas, into my sentences.
- mike648, on 04/11/2008, -4/+19That would make a great linux laptop but the heat might burn my legs
- volacide, on 04/11/2008, -1/+15Except to play Metal Gear Solid 4 anywhere and everywhere. Sounds reason enough for me. Sitting on the plane watching a 4 hour cutscene. :D
- Kloud, on 04/11/2008, -1/+14*smack*
- robtheghost, on 04/11/2008, -1/+13http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/19/the-wii-laptop/
- luke374, on 04/11/2008, -1/+13This guy only has one PS3 laptop, while I on the other hand, have three PS3 laptops.
- Cimlite, on 04/11/2008, -0/+12He should just make an all-in-one laptop. Wii, PS3, Xbox360... just throw it all in there.
What it would lack in portability it would make up for in pure kick-ass. - Toxigen, on 04/11/2008, -3/+15I don't know why you are being buried, I thought it was funny.
- Jushooter, on 04/11/2008, -3/+14Errr...Wii? That'd be nice.
- xxA7XxaDdiCtxx, on 04/11/2008, -0/+10Some people like to play their consoles on their TV's with surround sound and not a small lcd screen.
- NiGHTSChao, on 04/11/2008, -10/+20mac is a home computer?
I thought it was just a shiny pile of useless plastic and metal - Lunarbunny, on 04/11/2008, -1/+9Three PS3s. In laptop form of course.
- BlueCadenza, on 04/11/2008, -0/+8Its got nothing on my convertible Stratocaster/FarSight XR-20
- steelclash84, on 04/11/2008, -1/+8Get to the gym, girlyman!
- polywaffle, on 04/11/2008, -0/+7dont think it has a battery, and if it does a ps3 probably draws an amazing amount of power so it wouldnt last at all
- volacide, on 04/11/2008, -1/+8You ruin my fun. :( I was willfully disregarding that fact.
- inactive, on 04/11/2008, -1/+7How about a coffee maker Linux laptop?
- ArtificialAnus, on 04/11/2008, -1/+7It's "luggable"
- N256, on 04/11/2008, -1/+7600 watts of RAW LAPTOP
- Bigbro69, on 04/11/2008, -1/+7My, friendly, gentlemen; I have, lots, of commas, for sale.
- Spuy767, on 04/11/2008, -2/+8OR maybe he enjoyed his purchase and just thought you were a douche? Just a thought.
- Johnnell, on 04/11/2008, -0/+5But will it run Crysis?
- breadfred, on 04/11/2008, -1/+6You defiantly nicked a comment from Gizmodo's replies.
- cornelje, on 04/11/2008, -0/+5Three laptops. In PS3 form of course.
- R031E5, on 04/11/2008, -0/+5Real ORIGINAL story: benheck's blog
http://benheck.com/04-10-2008/playstation-3-portab ... - iofthestorm, on 04/11/2008, -0/+5Pretty sure he's already made a Wii laptop, and why would you need a DS laptop? It's already portable, and frickin tiny in fact. There was a guy who rigged two laptop screens together and sent the output from the DS to the screens (one was a touchscreen) but that took an FPGA and some serious hacking skills, since the DS doesn't have any native video-out.
- automate, on 04/11/2008, -0/+5Simple. Gizmodo posted the news 4 hours earlier than Engadget.
- gsxrmike04, on 04/11/2008, -0/+4looks cool but don't look like no ps3 to me looks like some old IBM think-pad
- unclemeat, on 04/11/2008, -1/+5My dog can convert itself in to a duffel bag.
- Nickbc87, on 04/11/2008, -1/+5Too bad the change is permanent....
- KidVicious, on 04/11/2008, -1/+5Damn comment system... http://www.engadget.com/2008/04/10/the-ps3-laptop- ...
- polizeit, on 04/11/2008, -0/+4not really, the only reason why he's able to do this and sony can't is because it wasn't done in an assembly line and not made in a technique friendly to mass production.
- inactive, on 04/11/2008, -1/+4Aside from the issue of the PS3 possibly killing the 360, it sounds like a good idea.
- slambert90, on 04/11/2008, -1/+4Oh it'll fry your legs, mike648.
- Ibox, on 04/11/2008, -1/+4So we have to upgrade every time a new game comes out... nothx.
- theaceoffire, on 04/11/2008, -1/+4Black has always been my thing.
O.o now he needs to make a Wii + GB DS laptop, and his conquest will be complete! - mike648, on 04/11/2008, -1/+4thats right slambert90
