- Coopdoggie, on 04/02/2008, -0/+7I really don't care if its balanced or not, this type of scheme opens the floodgates for more stuff like this. We shouldn't have to pay for stuff that is already in the game!
- McGrude, on 04/02/2008, -0/+10I am not buying the game so it doesn't really matter to me, except for the principle of the matter. I can deal with in-game dynamic advertising (along the lines of what Ubisoft has done in R6V2 -- dynamic billboards, etc.) But nickel and dimeing us to death with useless add-ons, or worse, add-ons that give those willing to spend money an advantage, is wrong.

I wouldn't even go that far. There should be no adverts in a game I've paid for. I wouldn't tolerate adverts before a movie on a DVD, I wouldn't tolerate advert breaks in a TV show's box set, and I wouldn't tolerate audio adverts on an album. Why should games be any different? - diggrim, on 04/03/2008, -0/+1would you pay more for an "ad-free" version? It's just the market balancing itself out. Some companies will take the high road (I hope).
