BREAKING: Official Rock Band 2 Track List Revealed

I mean, with Guitar Hero World Tour, I could play songs from Reel Big Fish, Rehab, and even, I don't know, the Dueling Banjo scene in Deliverance. (I have already seen a Dueling Banjos for GH2, but I think it could be done better)

        However, I do not. I have a Wii. I'm not going to purchase the crippled ***** port of the ps2 version that is Rock Band. I'm buying GHWT instead, which is not a ***** port but the full game!

        Personally, I would prefer to see something like Overture 1928 or a classic song like Metropolis (man, would THAT kick ass in RB). Or you could go the total crazy route and go with something like Lie, but you'd pretty much have to guarantee that the drummer would have to buy a second kick pedal for that. :)

      I'd have gone with This Dying Soul for a complete pain-in-the-ass song. Fatal Tragedy, Home, Glass Prison, A Change of Seasons, and/or Constant Motion would have been good choices as well.

Disc 2 of 6D is an example, and so is the song Octavarium (although the themes tie in with the rest of the record) so from there it's a matter of opinion on which has the better filler songs ;)

        I think Dragonforce put the "Dragonforce" effect on themselves. They're pretty much a complete joke who rely completely on studio editing for their technique. Check out any live footage of them playing in concert - they can't even reproduce their own absurd studio recordings accurately like Dream Theater can.
      • connorwilson, on 07/15/2008, -0/+1I know that. I mean, everyone who has heard more than TTFAF in Guitar Hero can clue into that one. So they're ***** live, but they've just become so cliche. Dragonforce is now defined by that one song because it's so hard to play on GH, but in reality every single on of their songs is the same. Panic Attack, to me, just isn't a good enough tune for people to get into it like that.

      I read that they enabled the kit to be able to be hooked up to one of their real drum modulators and you can have an actual set, thought you would be missing a hi-hat pedal.

      It's great if you actually want to learn to play the drums.

RB has gotten one of my friends really into drumming and after I gave him some tips he can beat me easily at RB. How about some DLC packs of Japanese music. There is at least a decade and a half of rock that would be perfect for a game like this - (X, L'arc en Ciel, Porno Graffiti, The Pillows, Luna Sea , The Brilliant Green, Garnet Crow- just to name a few bands. Not counting Gackt and Visual Kei bands...if you want to head that way). The first game to put forth some international rock will have my vote.

Make it several DLC packs - a few of them free to whet new fans appetites and encourage them to purchase large packs if they like what they hear/play.
