The design pattern on the grass is something the first Animal Crossing had and also the way the tree looks with the apple just chilling there. There's no doubt in my head it's Animal Crossing and not The Sims.

Well, the developers can use what ever model they want, while using the data the user has entered to create similar looking models.

Hopefully we see some RTS action on the Wii as well as some sandbox and simulation games. The Wii-mote opens up alot of possibilities for games for the console.
