- Frawt, on 11/14/2009, -0/+33Definitely waiting for this game. Even though it the first one got criticized for being repetitive, I still liked it. I even...collected the flags.
I'm pathetic, I know, but I liked the game. This seems to fix all the problems of the first one, so it'll definitely be a very, very good game. - alphgeek, on 11/16/2009, -0/+16LOL it wasn't so bad...the scenery, story and action made up for the repetitive missions. I liked it a lot. But seriously, you collected all the flags? That's dedication.
- Kuci06, on 11/15/2009, -1/+14I WANT TO BUY JADE'S GAME!
- KimballO, on 11/14/2009, -1/+13Looking forward to flying and jumping in the game.
- whytey, on 11/16/2009, -1/+11***** sucks for PC Users RLS Date - February 26, 2010
WTF UBISOFT?!? - Ziriux, on 11/14/2009, -1/+11This time is has more variety i'm all for it.
- scooterbaga, on 11/16/2009, -0/+7Being repetitive doesn't matter if you enjoy what you're doing. On some level all games are repetitive.
- LoneWolf01, on 11/16/2009, -0/+6I'm pretty sure this was leaked a few days ago for the 360...
- tootim, on 11/16/2009, -0/+4 I know why too but I really want you to repeat it here aloud just for fun. It doesn't matter to me... because I also obviously know why.
- strictnein, on 11/16/2009, -0/+4Pie Ruh Si
Plain and simple, games are being delayed on the PC to help fight piracy. It helps encourage console sales which have a much lower piracy rate. - jsballardx, on 11/16/2009, -1/+5That was a terrible article. I couldn't get past some of the wording to even see the point.
- WinkyMcGee, on 11/16/2009, -2/+6Not only is this article full of grammatical errors and general stupidity (Lorenzo de’ Medic?) literally all of this information could be gained by watching the Dev Diaries that are posted on IGN, YouTube, Gamespy, and the AC website. Buried for being extremely lame.
- Pyroteq, on 11/16/2009, -0/+3Ubisoft seem to hire some pretty good looking women. There was a gorgeous girl in one of the developer interviews for the new Splinter Cell game.
- abbasatpsu, on 11/16/2009, -0/+3now i am really curious..why ?
- nouman1989, on 11/14/2009, -1/+4Want.
- MrSteamTank, on 11/16/2009, -0/+3Well it's pretty obvious why she's doing the interviews. She's a hottie plain and simple. The thing is that because everybody knows we treat good looking people better when someone is unnaturaly attractive for their particular profession we tend to think they can't be there due to skill and that can be upsetting to some.
- tootim, on 11/16/2009, -0/+2So you think this is intentional or do you think they were the qualified 'men' for the job? Just curious. I have no idea myself.
Oh and it appears the comments above me are talking about the same girl working on the game... so yeah. - 2Bnor2B, on 11/16/2009, -0/+2I hate when exclusive items are tied to pre-orders.
They have two exclusive in-game maps only for pre-orders.
I really hope the PC version is done properly and not just a lousy port. - nuketrap, on 11/16/2009, -0/+2I am really looking forward to this, they have only improved on a great game...
- asheikha, on 11/14/2009, -1/+3Cant wait for Assasins Creed 2 :)
- thedogfatherx, on 11/16/2009, -2/+4The question is, is it going to be the same repetitive ***** of a game that was assassins creed 1?
- tootim, on 11/16/2009, -0/+2Are you upset now? You should totally post pics of your face crying or something.
- antdude, on 11/17/2009, -0/+1I need a demo!
- sandman7263, on 11/16/2009, -0/+1I'm just glad that it won't be a "cake walk."
- scooterbaga, on 11/16/2009, -0/+1I read somewhere that they intend for all the dlc to be released to all at some point. Didn't stop me from buying the master edition.
- MrSteamTank, on 11/16/2009, -1/+2The only way I could ever get this game here in Uruguay is either:
1. Ordering it from overseas for 120 bucks(that would be like charging 400 bucks for a game in the US considering wage differences)
2. Going to the local video game store and buying it for 3 dollars.
Considering I'm making about 600 bucks a month I don't think I'll ever be going with the first option as long as I live here. Game companies could price their games accordingly in other markets but they don't so nobody here will ever buy them. 8P - Carrot1991, on 11/17/2009, -0/+1Dissapointed by the article? Still Want some good, entertaining info?
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/red-carpet-assas ...
Red carpet trailer was just announced :P - daeyeth, on 11/16/2009, -2/+3GamingBolt? I don't understand the how gaming articles on the front page come from such random sources instead of places like IGN, GameSpy, or even GiantBomb.
...actually, nevermind, I do know how. Well, whatever, at least it's not a blog - whytey, on 11/16/2009, -0/+1So i have to buy it on the PS3
- JHB207, on 11/16/2009, -1/+2Hopefully improved from the boring ass first one.
- nico623, on 11/16/2009, -1/+2I got some repetitive action from your sister last night.
- RyomaNagare, on 11/16/2009, -0/+1and don't even get me started what we have to do in order to use PSN here.
- MrSteamTank, on 11/16/2009, -1/+2I mean that I must physically order it from overseas as stores don't carry it and then pay the ridiculous import taxes on top of shipping. This is on top of my much lower comparative salary to begin with. It doesn't really matter as I've always pirated games even when I lived in Canada. The difference being that I would still occasionally buy some of the top notch titles (like Neverwinter nights 2, Rainbow Six Las Vegas, Half-life 2, Halo 3, Mass Effect, etc).
I'm not really defending myself. I pirate games because I don't want to pay for them. I used to pick up a title here and there but now with the price to wage discrepancy here it's impossible to afford them and the pirating conveniance is too high. - YumYumTruck, on 11/17/2009, -0/+1I'm not sure Altair was an "Islamist assassin", but either way, this game is in Venice, and everyone has an Italian accent.
- Gregus1032, on 11/18/2009, -0/+1I think they're including the intel-gathering missions.
There was:
beating up someone in an alley
pick pocketing
eaves dropping
helping out various people getting picked on by the gaurds
final assassination
It was a fun game, the only thing i didnt like about it was after the 2nd assassination it was quite clear every city was a rinse and repeat leading up to the main assassination.
oh, and the friggin retards that start knocking you around when you get within 3 ft of them =.= - thavi, on 11/16/2009, -3/+3Basically it's gonna be a game with some improvements all across the board from the first, but in the end it will still be repetitive and get stale. Nevertheless it will be a hit and it will spawn a third with multiplayer, then some offshoots including an RTS.
- YumYumTruck, on 11/17/2009, -0/+0uh huh. right. You know this how? and doesn't every game get repetitive and stale eventually? more importantly though, has anyone ever made a stealth RTS? or stealth-like multiplayer? oddly, I find that might be interesting, althoug it probably wouldn't work out very well.
- jud420, on 11/16/2009, -3/+3'Assassins Creed 1 one had about five to six mission types.'
...more like 1. - luke727, on 11/16/2009, -1/+1PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, LET ME SKIP THE CUTSCENES
- inactive, on 11/16/2009, -2/+1Ah all the PC game whiners, is this a good time for me to say Assassins Creed is meant to be played with a dual analog controller and not a mouse and keyboard, what's good for the goose...
- riddlemod, on 11/16/2009, -3/+2Life must be tough when you're limited to international or domestic purchase only.
- spookyttws, on 11/15/2009, -2/+1It comes out this week, that's all I want to know before articles like these spoil it.
- RyomaNagare, on 11/16/2009, -2/+1something weird I got this game in my country on Friday. didn't think much of it since this backwater piece of land never gets anything fast. then I realized metacritic did not list a score, and the release date was 17th. I just started the game since I'm going trough ratchet and clank first. the game since very well made, but since I didn't play the first one I was expecting it to play similar to Batman, it seems much complex than that. also here is proof http://www.todojuegos.cl/
that price is about 70 usd tax included, really cheap since most games cost about 90buks here - tootim, on 11/16/2009, -3/+1I don't have an opinion on the AC series either way, but I want to thank them for releasing the same day as Left 4 Dead 2 because it doubles the chance my local gamestop has to be open for a midnight release.
Thank you! (p.s. Is that woman still working on AC? I felt awful how mean people were to here during the first one) - shownoregrets, on 11/16/2009, -3/+1does this remind anyone else of Fable?
- ProudBlackMan, on 11/16/2009, -3/+0Playing an Islamist assassin is not my cup of tea. No matter how advanced the game is.
- villainstyle, on 11/16/2009, -5/+1the first one was so disappointing and they picked a bad time to release this game. COD6MW2FTMFW
- CA5TIEL, on 11/16/2009, -4/+0I can't wait to climb more buildings only to dive from the top
