That will cost you your liiiiffe!!! - TomGfromCanada, on 06/11/2009, -6/+78I can't ***** wait, looks sick.
- Velnich, on 06/11/2009, -1/+61YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND! I HAVE NOTHING! NOTHING!!
- omnithought, on 06/11/2009, -2/+53Looks like it'll have more variety. That's a huge improvement.
- Shreder1, on 06/11/2009, -6/+54This is old. They showed it at E3. I was hoping it was something new.
- Phil1ip123, on 06/11/2009, -0/+38Thief! You are filth!
- WinkyMcGee, on 06/11/2009, -0/+33THAT is when you suspended your disbelief? A DNA/Time Traveling assassin who happens to be a member of some elite group with the goal of stopping Templar knights and their followers from getting all the Pieces of Eden, that you have no problem with. His arm strength, that's where you draw the line...
- berrray, on 06/11/2009, -1/+31Hope its not too repetitive like the first one. It was still good but the same thing like 5 times through.
- vishious, on 06/11/2009, -1/+28you're all idiots.
- sgerwel1985, on 06/11/2009, -1/+23Yeah the first AC had some problems, but all in all, it was a pretty decent game. With the new stuff they talked about at E3, it looks like the second will be much better.
Today i got prototype and well, now i'm stuck in this. Thank god that AC2 is a decent bit away though. - MasterGrief, on 06/11/2009, -3/+23Yeah. You'll also be unable to kill your assassination targets with any kind of secrecy, and you'll constantly get caught by guards seconds before the alert would have shut off.
- inactive, on 06/11/2009, -2/+22Leonardo DaVinci in a video game.SWEET.
- berrray, on 06/11/2009, -2/+20I say u he dead
- NikoKun, on 06/11/2009, -2/+20Swimming, flying, double kills, tons of weapons, better AI, DaVinci inventions... holy ***** this game is going to rock!
The first game was good, and a lot of fun... But they really seem to have outdone themselves with AC2!
I hope they've fixed the problems with the old game, such a repetitive missions, but man, I'd play this even with it's problems.
Can't wait for November! It can't come fast enough! >_< - DouglasQ, on 06/11/2009, -0/+18He actually invented videogames. Only blueprints though, they lacked a power source.
- metaliq, on 06/11/2009, -1/+19Hm. As long as it's not the same mission 12 times, I might be able to get into this one a bit more.
- inactive, on 06/11/2009, -0/+16I think you mean dongtacular
- hypodan, on 06/11/2009, -0/+15I'll have your head!
- Darksoul, on 06/11/2009, -0/+14The game had some problems, but it was far from a disappointment it had a good storyline and game mechanics. The only thing truly wrong with the game was how repetitive the missions where.
- Myrix, on 06/11/2009, -0/+11So, did you actually, yknow, play Assassin's Creed?
- jetcombo15, on 06/11/2009, -1/+12I'M AN ANNOYING LEPER WHO HAS NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN INSISTENTLY RAM INTO PEOPLE
- rpapi100, on 06/11/2009, -4/+14Looks nice, setting is really great considering not many games explore the Italian renaissance and, as the presenter said, it's really at the beginning of the modern age while still retaining some of the more troubling aspects of earlier times.
Adding variety to combat and gadgets (like the flying contraption) is a great move and will help keep things interesting. Overall Ubisoft have done their homework it seems and this is a sequel I have high hopes for... I hope the story lives up to what we have seen gameplay-wise and that the back-story is better uncovered (**SPOILER FOR AC1**: Assassins vs Templars rivalry in the modern world is further explored).
P.-S. : Considering it will be a multiplatform release, I hope they don't further dumb down the controls and storyline to please the console hordes... - SpeedSteamBoat, on 06/11/2009, -0/+10"It's like a pretty superman 64."
You deserve to be slapped for that. - scarz99, on 06/11/2009, -0/+10However, this isn't the first Assassin's Creed, it's the sequel.
- moonym, on 06/11/2009, -1/+11Me too dude, people digg the old stuff though :/
- PatrickX, on 06/11/2009, -1/+11suspending your disbelief = you start thinking it IS real
- metaliq, on 06/11/2009, -2/+11and I hope they fix the hay. it really takes away from any submersion that the game provides when the hay doesnt move at all after falling a hundred feet into it. eh...
- Aeroboy, on 06/11/2009, -0/+9No no no no no. It's sandbox in that there are probably many other way you could achieve the objective (I assume), but they are (by themselves) linear. Sort of how Hitman worked. You could kill the guy in dozens of different way, but there was always a "best" option, which was mostly linear.
- mountain1488, on 06/11/2009, -0/+9Dugg for sanguinary as well....but then dugg back down for 1337.
- TySchwab23, on 06/11/2009, -0/+9have you even watched any of the gameplay videos?
- WhiskeyLemur, on 06/30/2009, -0/+9Thank god you can swim.... Venice would be a fraking nightmare otherwise.
- DevSingh1359, on 06/11/2009, -1/+10I was kinda hoping this would be set in Feudal Japan like the ending of the first game hinted at...but Renaissance Italy looks just as awesome. Hope this game doesn't disappoint as much as AC1 did.
- impedance101, on 06/11/2009, -0/+8I was expecting to see Jade Raymond as well, hope she produced this one too.
- Neworab, on 06/11/2009, -8/+16These comments are almost as repetitive as the first Assassins Creed.
- passedoutghost, on 06/11/2009, -0/+8But he couldn't hotwire horses....
- Dotcommer, on 06/11/2009, -2/+10I dunno, I'm excited about. This was one of those games where you had hope for a lot and kind of fell short, but they seem passionate enough to try again, so by all means, go for it guys. Anything to encourage improving your game, instead of making the same ***** over and over again.
- jc7012, on 06/11/2009, -0/+8Bubada-beepa de-bappa!
/italian mustache - Darksoul, on 06/11/2009, -0/+7"It's like a pretty superman 64"
Wow you should be assassinated for saying that crap, and nothing about it was linear. - DouglasQ, on 06/11/2009, -1/+8Dugg for sanguinary.
- seaofcheese, on 06/11/2009, -3/+10As long as every town you go to isnt the same missions as the last then it might be good.
- SpeedSteamBoat, on 06/11/2009, -1/+8Nah, it was pretty fun. It got kind of repetitive after a while, but, for me, moving down folks on a horse never got old. From the looks of it, this sequel addresses basically everything I found wanting in the first game. Swimming, more weapon variety, more assassination badassery (pulling that guy off the tower from the edge? Awesome), more gameplay variety in general (flying machine, etc).
Truthfully, I enjoyed the first game despite its problems, and I'm really looking forward to this sequel. - Memnochxx, on 06/11/2009, -2/+9How are the controls and storyline dumbed down to begin with? What does being on a console have to do with storyline at all?
- berrray, on 06/11/2009, -1/+8I swear that's been done before
- themastersb, on 06/11/2009, -1/+7What?
- Syugo, on 06/11/2009, -3/+9Oh stop whining.
- monkeyman121, on 06/11/2009, -0/+6uhh where is Jade Raymond?! she needs to be promoting this!
- nertil1, on 06/11/2009, -0/+6Hope there's a demo
