- soimless, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4The whole thing is
"Hey, thanks for listening
I hooked you up with a boot of K.K. XXXXX you know, a bootleg?
You can play it on the box back at your pad anytime. It's cool. No charge
Those industry fat cats try to put a price on my music, but it wants to be free.
You be sure to drop on and catch me again, man. I'll be around..."
I think it fits the theme of the game, a whole lay backed envriment. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2They're mocking both the filesharers and the RIAA. It just depends who you are. It could be slanted either way.
- aresef, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2You know you're evil when Nintendo inserts a diss on you in a game's script.
- dbpigeon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Sweet. KKs the best. Great game + RIAA diss = happiness. (not to mention portable, but i wont bore you w/ my pro-nintendo babble)

http://www.soifall.net/extras/ac.jpg - bpapa, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1mike a lot of what's in the DS version is lifted directly from the GCN version. to me it's not a big deal though because AC isn't really a game I play for long periods of time, it's something I can play every few days for the next few years - and now it's even easier to not miss things since it's portable. for example catching all the holidays were tough on the cube since i cant bring the cube with me to granny's or whatever. but with the DS, bam, it's right there in my pocket.
- x2dx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Free The Music
- mikeazorin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I remember KK slider from the GameCube version of animal crossing. Good days...
- bpapa, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0heh, yeah, I saw this in the game earlier. of course this is the first saturday it's been out so it's the first time we all (well, those that keep our clocks set correctly) get to see KK Slider.
- DamnedEyez, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I'm not sure if they're speaking out against the RIAA or mocking the filesharers.
- kinderstod, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0haha good stuff
- nights0223, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I noticed that tonight too. Thought it was hilarious
- neurokaotix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The RIAA hates music.
- fa_pa, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0that is no "speaking out" against the riaa. it is a very slight whispering if it even is that!
- CLIFFosakaJAPAN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Great Digg....I wonder if the Japanese version has a similar message in the game
- pomaybo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I can't digg this hard enough
- gk128, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah, I saw this last night as well. Funny stuff.
- Bonobo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i played the original animal crossing for MONTHS..now im onto wild world LOL
- atf487, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I want this game so badly...
- neurokaotix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Disappointment."
"Masterpiece." - nugget, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I don't think that music should be free, but it should not cost me 20 bucks for a stupid CD of 10 songs. If the Cd's were 10 bucks I would get more Cd's, but I don't listen to music really because Cd's cost music and I believe that artists should be paid.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Cool. Just the fact the wording is in the game is enough. Dugg. Yay Nintendo!
- bookishboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I am SO happy to hear that Nintendo doesn't believe in DRM. It'll make me sleep better tonight, whilst I download a torrent of Animal Crossing.
Can't wait to play it! - breathofwater, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0great game, great company, great digg. KK slider is 1337 skeet
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I think video games should be free, but who am i to decide, either way, down with the RIAA
- scbysnx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I have a friend who is an aspiring musician.. while I'm sure he doesn't want people to be restricted by current drm I'm sure he also doesn't want to work hard on music and starve.. there has to be a happy medium of fair use and compensation why on earth do people keep saying music should be free??
- DevilsRejection, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0links dead
- GhostFreeman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0No digg. I don't think this is directly meant to be a diss towards anyone.
- BugMeNot2, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Amusing.
