- miggz06, on 05/04/2008, -16/+168Dugg for nipples.
- rentmitchum, on 05/04/2008, -7/+144Did he pronounce cache "cashay"? If that's the way it's pronounced I've been saying it wrong.
- forgiste, on 05/04/2008, -4/+118I think it's pronounced Cash, although I'm not sure.
- inactive, on 05/04/2008, -3/+103no, its like saying "my PC always crashed so i lowered the resolution."
.... - slinky317, on 05/04/2008, -4/+103While watching the video I got to the point where the guys were walking in and everything just stopped. I thought "Wow, that really sucks for those customers!"
And then I realized my video was buffering. - DannySpace, on 05/04/2008, -2/+86All I know is if I had direct access to Nips like that, my video games wouldn't be what I occupy my time playing with.
- AngusMustang, on 05/04/2008, -7/+87fyi: up, down, up, down, left, right, A, B, A, B to unlock super-freeze mode.
- thatsmyaibo, on 05/04/2008, -2/+71Are you asking us?
- Nath4n, on 05/04/2008, -21/+85Been playing it problem free on 360 all week?
- SaTaNKiLLeR, on 05/04/2008, -1/+58On PS3 turn off PSN and all freeze problems are gone.
- Caleb83, on 05/04/2008, -5/+61'Cash' is correct. Cashay is the french pronunciation, from which this word originated. Just say whatever you like. You'll get less funny looks if you say cash, though.
- GeorgeStone2, on 05/04/2008, -5/+48Hey guys, this person hasn't had a problem.
This means the problem doesn't exist..... - breezytrees, on 05/04/2008, -3/+41Haven't had a freeze yet on 360. Logged 50 hours so far. It is a new generation 360 though, my first gen one had freezing issues in quite a few games.
- WNW3, on 05/04/2008, -1/+38I think he is?
- PHiZ187, on 05/04/2008, -1/+35Many companies don't respond to individual consumer complaints until they are shamed into doing so. This one gamer could feel that he is one of many people affected, and is working to bring attention to the problem.
- Wootstapler, on 05/04/2008, -6/+39"HOW YOU CAN HELP:
CALL ROCKSTAR HQ:
ASK FOR SAM HOUSER (PRES OF R*)"
I don't think that's going to help... - specialK16, on 05/04/2008, -0/+30No he is not?
- manitoba98xp, on 05/04/2008, -5/+33Nope. Its just like "cash". That's people trying to make it sound "more French" (cash-ay would probably be spelled "caché").
- RAEP, on 05/04/2008, -3/+31***** was so cache.
- TomRemixed, on 05/04/2008, -1/+27Why don't they make a page on youtube of youtube freezing up. I've seen that happen way too much in the past week.
- Chebsi, on 05/04/2008, -4/+30No, I haven't.
- WaveyRavey, on 05/04/2008, -0/+26"Hey.. my names fred, could i speak to the president of rockstar please? ....thx."
- greennoodles, on 05/04/2008, -4/+30I had freezing problems but totally fixed it. I put the res down to 480p and open and close the tray and have the game auto-load, 15 game play hours and still no freezing.
- ZigVicious, on 05/04/2008, -0/+25I'm Ron Burgendy?
- TheFinaleofSeem, on 05/04/2008, -4/+28If your XBox red ringed because of GTAIV, blame MS for their crappy design flaws, not Rockstar for creating a game that stresses the system.
- Laiden, on 05/04/2008, -2/+26Most definately is?
- thatsmyaibo, on 05/04/2008, -1/+24Yeah you shouldn't have to go through all that to play it. You should take it out of the box and have it work flawlessly. These companies spend a lot of money into QA to make sure a game works and this game has had way too many issues.
- wastedpanda, on 05/04/2008, -6/+29If you could all post your wonderful short novels on how you've played the game for hours without it freezing on "http://www.woopty-*****-do.com/forums.php", that would be great, thanks.
- jrm5100, on 05/04/2008, -5/+28As far as I know, PS3 freezes slightly more often but is easy to fix every time (just sign out of PSN). The Xbox has the RROD problem to worry about.
The problem isn't incredibly widespread anyway. You would have to be fairly unlucky to be affected by it. - UtahApocalyse, on 05/04/2008, -28/+50Thats like saying "my PC always crashed so I downgraded my graphics card."
- WNW3, on 05/04/2008, -1/+23You are correct
- bhavinp, on 05/04/2008, -5/+27This is gonna be your only chance to say that, enjoy it while it lasts.
- thatsmyaibo, on 05/04/2008, -8/+29I love the way digg was all Wii a few months ago and I got dugg down for saying anything negative to it. Digg is just fad after fad.
- T8erT0T, on 05/04/2008, -1/+22I'm looking to buy a console for GTA, can anyone tell me without a bleeding bias which system is less likely to freeze?
- elitexero, on 05/04/2008, -9/+29"people have lost not only 70 dollars on a game but their entire systems and will now have to spend more of their hard-earned money on replacements"
Yes, because when a game freezes inside my console, I just throw it out and get a new one. This guy's a ***** idiot, so it freezes, yeah that sucks, but making stuff up saying it's ruining consoles really reveals how much this guy knows what he's talking about. - forgiste, on 05/04/2008, -4/+23Buried for Ru Paul spam..
- elitexero, on 05/04/2008, -0/+19'Poor memory usage of the game"?
Red rings (so far) are usually caused by improper solder points on the motherboard. - icepick602, on 05/04/2008, -8/+27are you twelve?
- HyperJack, on 05/04/2008, -0/+18Those having problems on PS3, trying disabling your internet connection.
I had my GTA, played it for a day without problems and then realised my Ethernet cable was out.
As soon as i plugged it back in i start having freeze problems.
So i just disabled the Internet Connection (Settings>Network) and now its all good. - chrissku, on 05/04/2008, -0/+18I'm only digging this because of the nipples. The video actually basically sucked.
- chazuk, on 05/04/2008, -1/+17YAY! I assume if he doesn't have AIDS then the AIDS virus has died too?
- Culyt, on 05/04/2008, -1/+17I've always pronounced it 'caiesh'. Maybe its because I'm Australian or just crap at pronouncing stuff.
- oldhick, on 05/04/2008, -1/+16Some people on the internet think games create the red ring! Beware... Or ignore them like I do and keep playing.
- zeusthemoose, on 05/04/2008, -3/+18The internet is just fad after fad.
- RoflcopterFUEL, on 05/04/2008, -1/+16...?
- ngmcs8203, on 05/04/2008, -2/+17You do realize the size of magnets in your home entertainment speakers, right? I don't know if I'd trust a hard drive around a giant magnet. No matter how shiny the PS3s case is.
- hightechdave, on 05/04/2008, -0/+14trojan/spam/crapware
- Kerath, on 05/04/2008, -1/+15There's cache (cash) and cachet (cashay).
- hammerpants, on 05/04/2008, -0/+14Link is down.
/s - unleashedlive, on 05/04/2008, -1/+14Always digg for *female* nipples.
