- Gerz1219, on 03/18/2008, -1/+7I'm not justifying the cost, but it's unlikely that any consumer-level product is going to replace HD in the next 20 years or so, and a $15,000 sound system can approach the limits of what the human ear can recognize. We may see much cheaper, consumer-oriented versions of these parts in the near future, but a current high-end setup isn't going to be upstaged or rendered unacceptable in the short term.
