- preppypoof, on 05/30/2009, -2/+16i used to be the biggest nintendo fanboy on the planet. after the novelty from the wii wore off (about a year tops), it's been collecting dust while i play REAL games on the 360. If nintendo doesn't announce a new zelda, i'll be 100% convinced that nintendo has abandoned their "hardcore" gamers of 20+ years.
i mean, a zelda game for the wii really hasn't come out yet. yes, i know twilight princess was released with the wii but that game was made specifically for the gamecube and only game out for the wii to boost launch sales. it's been two and a half years since the wii came out and not even an ANNOUNCEMENT of a wii zelda game yet?

Now put that power supply into the case of the 360 and add a little extra space for cooling and what do you have??? A console the size of the PS3. Taking out the power supply and the giant HDD bay is how Sony went from the PS2 to the PS2 Slimline so it can be done.

I know Nintendo isn't in the habit of doing direct sequels like that for the main Mario franchise, but where else are they gonna go after that? Super Mario Alternate Universe or Super Mario Nth Dimension?

Then because the new processor require much smaller heatsinks for cooling they could just design smaller case.

- mythicflux, on 06/01/2009, -0/+1You didn't get the sarcasm. Yes, Sony switched to the 45nm CELL a number of months ago. The current size of the PS3 is actually bigger than it needs to be. That's because the currently manufactured unit has a heat sink/cooling system designed around 90nm.
