  • akaRacquel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yes. Watch out for the girl who had a C64 when she was a kid, and a brother for fierce competitor when it came to gaming. She could very well kick your butt and Grand Turismo is the ONLY game which her husband can beat her at! (Only because he's had soooooo much more PRACTICE, of course!) lol.

    I'm a strong advocate for games having immense value for kids as an incredible learning resource. Found you via googling echolalia and found myself laughing upon that game where Pookie is wishing for the nose to be put back on after it's taken away. My son was exactly the same with the "along came a blackbird and pecked off her nose!" song when he was around 3 too. Very insistent of having the nose put back on - there was a degree of low grade horror about the concept for him, even though it still made him laugh.

    We're facing the same need to organise for extra assistance with our son's transition into kindergarten this year - similar reasons. (He's 5.5yo atm) Nice to know we're not alone with the journey.
