    I'd call it a soon to be dead system, but the casuals will no doubt keep it alive by purchasing Carnival Games 2 and Cabela's Moose Knuckle Hunter 5,000.

    And I want to kill someone knowing there's two more Halo games coming out. I thought we were free from it's cancer and the effect it has had on lowering the expectations of gamers.

    This list is a total fail. Every single game is an action game: shooter, fighter, or adventure, except for FFXIII, which seems to have been tossed on as an afterthought.

    And the Wii a dead system? Interesting you would say that considering it has almost 50% market share, almost double the other systems. Do you people just not understand video games? Or does "video games" just mean "hardcore action games" to you?

    I guess if it doesn't keep you up till late at night with your pants down and a can of redbull to your right, then it's not a gaming system...?

    I do agree it's not for the "hardcore" gamer (hack-n-slash-er, blow-the-*****-up-er type of gamer), but for those of us who like to play with our family and friends every now and then, it's a great console.

    Maybe you should consider finding some real life friends which you can play the Wii with?

    Most I have looked forward to from cool looking marketing screenshots and vids end up being a let down... not to mention pretty much every single game is at least 6 months to 2 years later than their stated release date.

    Mass Effect 2? All we know is that they're planning on making it. Spring 2010 at the earliest.

    Where's Uncharted 2? The screenshots shown so far look absolutely amazing, the best I've seen for a console game, and it still has at least 9 months before it's even finished.

    now they're just slapping the title onto games to turn a profit off the xbox players that think Halo was the best fps ever made when it was years behind most pc fps games. Tribes 2 was made a long while before Halo and had much better multiplayer, and if i need to list single player PC fps games with better storyline/graphics than the Halo series you havent been playing the better games of the past decade. hell, Halo was supposed to be a PC game before it was ever supposed to be on Xbox before Microsoft grabbed it up and bastardized it like so many other games that were originally destined for PC. the only difference today is the "games for windows" now allow you to play a bastardized game on xbox AND pc, hurray.

    also, you're really not winning any points for calling someone ignorant and then later saying you agree with him a little.
