Starcraft Ghost. - iNaya, on 12/30/2008, -0/+3Unless them timekeepers decide that a leap second isn't enough, and add in a whole year... 3... 2... 1... 2008!
- Kenelm, on 12/30/2008, -0/+3The real reasons of their success if that they make games that can be played by anyone. No matter how old your computer is, what your native language is, or what your skill in computers is, you'll be able to play their latest game without any problem.
It's not like Crysis which required me to upgrade my computer, Age of Conan which still wasn't fully localized four months after its release, or GTA4 which still refuses to run on my computer.
No wonder why I love Blizzard games. - Carbonate, on 12/31/2008, -0/+2I can't wait for SC and D3 to come out; wtb frozen orb!
- Bennzor, on 12/30/2008, -0/+2they have to have a warcraft 4. where else is the lore for the next set of WoW expansions going to come from? Also they are all going to be most likely pushed back but, I'm betting right now othat starcraft comes ut next year. I give no guarantees on diablo
- FaithclubDotNet, on 12/31/2008, -0/+2As long as Starcraft 2 beta starts early next year, they can push release as far back as they want.
- mrfanboy, on 12/30/2008, -0/+1As long as they keep on releasing games for Macs, they can keep on taking my money.
- boshuda, on 12/30/2008, -0/+1Dugg for using "Epix purple" as their highlight color
- antdude, on 01/01/2009, -0/+1Two words: Diablo 3
- DoodleMaster, on 12/31/2008, -0/+1"Blizzard really is a great company! Especially for recognizing the Apple platform."
I would have dugg you up if you said that instead.
I dugg you down for Two reasons: Sounding like a mac "I'm better than you" douche and for falsely speaking for blizzard, saying they recognize it a superior platform. Which is on so many levels a less profitable business venture, considering the overwhelming majority of gamers own a windows based machine.
If you have to be bias, be logical and humbling or else you come off as a douche. - DoodleMaster, on 12/31/2008, -0/+1"They're not afraid of competition"
Because they don't have to be. I don't really think they "welcome it".
it's incredibly depressing too see all these others mmo's die bass ackwards at the feet of WoW.
I mean what does that mean for the future of mmos? It doesn't look that good at this rate. - inactive, on 12/31/2008, -0/+0Sweet!
- FaithclubDotNet, on 12/31/2008, -1/+1I'll be playing Starcraft 2 professionally. I competed at a world class level in both Starcraft and Warcraft 3. The pro scene was never that big back in the day, but it matured enough to make it worth it to pursue now.
www.crazyjimlizard.com - GarryBarker, on 12/31/2008, -1/+1Blizzard is a great company that recognizes the superiority of the Apple platform and the tremendous rise in market and mind share by releasing their games earlier than their PC counterparts.
- inactive, on 12/31/2008, -0/+0Blizzard is a pretty cool guy. eh makes games and doesn't afraid of anything!
- iNaya, on 12/30/2008, -2/+2Must have another Starcraft... I've been, slowly, dying, waiting, fading away, but now! I have HOPE!
Actually, I never really liked that game. I loved Warcraft I, II & III though. I hope they bring out a Warcraft IV - boshuda, on 12/30/2008, -2/+1Two words:
