- DragonQuester, on 10/10/2007, -1/+53This is so awesome. Just when you thought the Dreamcast was done for for good, MORE GAMES!
I really wish the Dreamcast would have caught on...imagine what sega would be like today... - rideroyals, on 10/10/2007, -1/+14marvel vs. capcom.....period i win
- racketboy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+13Uh yeah....
There's plenty of great games that still haven't been ported...
Jet Grind Radio, anyone? - freakgd, on 10/10/2007, -3/+15yeah bitch what are u gonna do about it
- r0b0, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12Dreamcast, the console that just won't die.
- jjremy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12I still dream of the day when Sega and Nintendo will truly join forces and take back the gaming world and return us to the glory days.
- razrielle, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10Hell yea man, House of the Dead 2, Sonic adventure, Crazy Taxi. All of them still look great, even compared to ps2, xbox games
- joehobbes, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11And of course, almost everyone will pirate them...
But at least, these look interesting -- especially yet another 2D shooter to add to the already massive collection:

I'm curious about how unique the puzzle game will be... - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11Long live what could've possibly been the greatest system of all time. I honestly think SEGA is the reason hardcore gaming has gone MIA lately. We miss you, come back!
- Bunmei, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Just because a system doesn't become a blockbuster here in the US, doesn't mean its not going to have continued international success. A fine example would be the Sega Saturn system. Even though it had lost the gaming competition in the states, by far it dominated the PSX in all of Southeastern Asia, it even continued to be supported up until almost the Xbox/Gamecube generation. This occured because we weren't fully able to harness the power that the Saturn had to offer, the Japanese did. So to hear that the dreamcast is still being support, isn't too much of a shock. Basically they're attempting to get the most out of the capabilities of the Dreamcast, even as anticquated as it may be, but also at the comparative lower cost of producing a DC game as oppose to large costs of the new higher standard. Plus they know there probably is enough fans of classic consoles to at least pull even and at the same time, getting their name out there.
- Insomniac33, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9I just played through Skies of Arcadia for the first time and logged 30+ hours into it. So yeah, I'm still playing it and loving it.
- racketboy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Screenshots and video of the puzzle game:

If you have a GP2X, you can download a demo of the game now:

As far as I can tell, there isn't any media out there yet for the shooter.
Long live the Dreamcast! - jjremy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Rival Schools: Project Justice!
- rebrad, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Damn, I thought these were all PS3 exclusives!!!
- kriminalintent, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6*crazy taxi guy's voice*
You have two new crazy games!! - mrASSMAN, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6Crap why did I sell my dreamcast earlier this year.. I sold the console with 100 games and 3 VMUs and rumblepack with 2 controllers.. for $50. I must've been high that day.
- UglyShirts, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I have the coolest wife ever. She bought me a used Dreamcast a few weeks ago because she remembered that it was always one of my favorite consoles, if not my all-time favorite. It came with a copy of Jet Set Radio (Which I've always loved) and a VMU...And I've been downloading and burning all of the old games I used to have, and re-playing them. Soul Calibur, Sonic Adventure, Resident Evil - Code: Veronica, Fur Fighters, Power Stone...There was some fantastic ***** on that system, most of it easily locatable for download now.
VERY under-appreciated system. And, hey...It was the technically the same hardware generation as the PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube...It was just first. So it's not even like it's really that far out of date.
I'll look for these new games. I think it's awesome that the fans are keeping the DC alive! - chadillak, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6i better find a working copy of DiscJuggler right quick.
- Scarfy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Shouldn't you be playing WoW?
- whatthefu, on 10/10/2007, -3/+6I just drooled all over my shirt.
- hartley, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4It's ok, Alcohol 120% makes a fine replacement.
- coxon, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4This is great news. I'm going to buy these games because they look great and I want them to produce more titles in the future.
- MagicCake, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Oh man, that makes me hurt hearing that... And for only $50, too. I feel for your pain, although not quite to that extent: I sold my Dreamcast a few years ago along with a handful of games (some of them somewhat hard to find, too) and I still regret it. I managed to get another console, but was never able to rebuild my small collection of games. Wish I had a time machine...
- omgroffles, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Tech Romancer.
- NYC10004, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I'd digg Dreamcast for Shenmue Alone.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Dreamcast is making a comeback! Lol imagine if the Dreamcast rises up and beats the new generation consoles, how ***** unexpected that would be.
Console gamers everywhere would be like: What the *****! - dinostabOMG, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Cool... but does anyone know if the publishers are making any money off of this? I'm curious about whether it's done out of nostalgia, or a labor of love, or whether it's actually profitable, or what. Anyone know?
- erad222, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I still own and play my Dreamcast. I still remember the day it came out, the media was in a frenzy. I was walking to school that day, and I just remember thinking how amazing this console was after watching the morning news's report about it.
- NewOntario, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Just another reason why I will never get rid of my Dreamcast... ever!
- seraph582, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2good point, my friend. Nothing beat their 1st party titles at the time. Sonic, Shining Force, Phantasy Star -all amazing
- smacksaw, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2It's sad that the best systems are often the ones that get crushed for one reason or another. I think of the Dreamcast, Amiga, PC Engine/TurboGrafx 16 and Intellivision and think about how each of them took forever to be validated. The DC really laid the foundation for XBOX with a Windows-CE development platform. I think that the DC platform should still be alive. You could make lots of really cool/portable PC games that would run on XBOX, DC, Windows Mobile, etc. The Amiga was probably the best of the bunch, but we're just now seeing graphics cards that are more powerful than the PC's processor. The Amiga had the right idea, delegating tasks to specific chips and using the CPU power to manage that. You saw that on a smaller scale with the PC Engine/TG-16 where an 8-bit CPU was more than enough to make the 16-bit graphics work and a CD system that was not matched for years afterward. If you look at Intellivision you have an input control disc that it took SEGA/Sony 15 years to perfect as the analouge controller.
DC isn't dead. I don't see why people don't licence it from MS/SEGA and make cheap PDAs that could run DC software via a cheap CD drive that could be connected via CF. Or hell...they could probably build a DC for $20 and sell it for $30. - bigwillystyle, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Dude i came home one day and my mom threw out my dreamcast along with sonic, powerstone, crazy taxi, house of the dead 2,(with the gun) and Ready 2 Rumble Boxing. I was so mad
- MagicCake, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Well, I don't know about the MOST underrated, but it's definitely a classic that deserved more attention and perhaps a sequel. Great game.
- MagicCake, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2As awesome as that would be, there's just no place to get that many machines anymore... they were pretty easy to find used a couple years ago, but it's tough now.
- yugiohdan6, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1then so is the original Xbox, GameCube, and PS2 (they were all in the same console generation)
- zaii7, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1love the dreamcast it is my favorite system to this day
- ButchersBoy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I wish so much I hadn't sold mine three months after I bought it. Every Sunday morning, hung over, my mates used to gather around mine for a round of Sega Bass Fishing.
- nonymous666, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I still go back and play Le Mans 24 Hours. The Dreamcast version of that game is my favorite racer of any platform and I have a blast with it. The AI of the other cars is brutal.
- gulp35, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1make that 547+
- devate, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Make that 402 people.
- DJCult, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3*****. Yes.
- Uriptical, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Technically Jet Set Radio Future was a sequel to the Dreamcast version, and the gameplay was also quite different. Many (myself included) would argue that the DC game was superior.
- Accutron, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Thanks for explaining. I remember a friend of mine getting a Dreamcast and us all ooh-ing and ahh-ing over the graphics and then suddenly it was gone. Can't say much about the controllers, however.
- devate, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1What were you thinking?? I still have my Dreamcast and I would never even dream of selling it. Then again I still have my 8-bit Nintendo and would never dream of selling that either, but that's beside the point. Your comment reminds me that I need to dust off the old Dreamcast and play some Power Stone. :)
- Kairity, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1yeah! more games :)
- Shanobi, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1If the Intellivision was able to get support into the mid 90's, the Dreamcast should be getting games for a while to come.
- jigzjader, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Dreamcast is a great system, it is a good thing that so many hardcore developers are still working with it. I believe it still have so many potentials. If this continues, sega might be tempted to release another system.
- xhizzle, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0It's a great system, I still own mine as a matter of fact. I think the problem lies in the fact that SEGA lost a lot of favour for it's Mega Cd and 32x back when Saturn was released and then not long after Saturn they announced the dreamcast. PLus they were screwed over by Sonys announcement of PS2 shortly after the release of Dreamcast. However,
On an off note: Wheres my Shenmue 3? - gulp35, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Typing of the Dead. Best. Learning Experience. Ever.
- DarkAoi, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0The game was released on GP2X earlier today and there's a new video here:
