Even the homeless people in my town have been saving up for it. Some of them have been off drugs for months, just so they could have the money to buy GTA IV and beat the crap out of virtual vagrants.

I was like, sweet it's coming out early, not that I was going to go to the stupid release party this morning, but I wanted to get Monday after work.. because Monday at Midnight is Monday.. the day starts at Midnight. Besides, it's the Halo effect - at first the reviews will be phenomenal; then, after a few months when the hype dies down, the "well, it's not without its problems" reviews start popping up. Game media are sheep.
