- jggube, on 06/01/2008, -0/+3GTA IV is an awesome game, at first I thought it was all hype, and when top video game sites gave it extraordinarily high ratings, I decided to buy it. It definitely went well beyond my expectations.
The one thing I love most about GTA IV is the creativity of each mission -- it's not like Assasin's Creed or World of Warcraft where each mission/quest/activity seems very much alike (climb the tower, kill X number of creatures, assassinate this target, collect this many fairy dusts). The entire game really draws you into the storyline and I don't think I've skipped a cut scene at all. - inactive, on 06/02/2008, -0/+2the defensive maneuvers are awesome! what more do you want from it?

- inactive, on 06/02/2008, -1/+1GTA IV being my first game on the console (outside of nintendo), I was impressed with the game, but also have my critical views of it, most of them being small things with the online play, and lobby system.
I don't like the complaint about individualized cars, though. You can't get mad at a game mechanic because it is "difficult." You don't see guitar hero players complaining about hammer-ons and pull-offs, for example. It is something that you have to practice, and master. We all had to learn how to ride the GTA cars. Yeah, you have to get used to it, so what? The individualized aspect of it gives the game some spice. Considering that the game is called Grand Theft AUTO, you would naturally expect to have some complex driving mechanics, wouldn't you?
