$100 Xbox 360 on Amazon... SOLD OUT in a blink
amazon.com — Within seconds of the page going live, 1000 $100 Xbox 360s were sold out. I blame Amazon's servers lag and crash. It took me 7 minutes to load the page. Did you get one?

- zirtbow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I was there loading 20 minutes before the start. The site was quick and responsive. Then at exactly 2:00 EST it slowed down and stopped loading. I got a slow load of the front page and clicked the link to go to the deals. That page didn't load at all until 2:17 EST in which it said it was all sold out. I never had a chance like many of you had guessed when this was originally posted.

Stupid Amazon... - azscott, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The Holiday deals page started getting sluggish about 4 minutes prior to sale time. My last reload was at about a minute early. It took maybe 2 minutes to refresh, and when it did - alrady sold out.
This was goofier than a woot-off....
