Watch out - cell phones taking over as timepieces
news.yahoo.com — Ask graphic designer Parker Weintz the time and he doesn't look to his wrist, he pulls a cell phone out of his pocket -- and he's not alone. The proliferation of cell phones, with their list of extra features, has had the knock-on effect of eliminating the need to wear a wristwatch unless it is to make a fashion statement.

- Himself, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1the moto e815 is especially handy.. the time is always available on the exterior LCD... and when opened and seem hacked can display your instant messanger ID ;)
- johndi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I use my cellphone as an alarm clock too. With my odd work schedule it's nice to be able to set it for specific days of the week. The power is bad where I live and plug in clocks won't keep the time. I think a UPS for my alarm clock would be overkill.
