- DoodleMaster, on 11/15/2008, -3/+277Great another piece of tech I'll never get to use.
- jdpafundi, on 11/15/2008, -6/+189Was anyone else in a trance because of that song? Once the video ended I snapped out of a complete malaise.
- wtfhaxorx, on 11/15/2008, -16/+194But, Crysis?
- MCA2142, on 11/15/2008, -6/+172Looks tiring.
- maurovz, on 11/15/2008, -0/+134Porn. Oh Exploitable...
- kjames00, on 11/15/2008, -17/+139I couldn't figure out how the video showed the real world usefulness but cool anyway
- Enderplayer1, on 11/15/2008, -1/+98Coming soon to an election coverage program near you.
- inactive, on 11/15/2008, -1/+93I want this implemented into 3D modeling and video editing.
- lilhelper, on 11/15/2008, -4/+94Right now, technology like this has no practical application in our current time.
but that is why technology such as this is invested in, because we will have a use for this someday soon in the future.
Very Cool - Feep, on 11/15/2008, -4/+80Guys. GUYS.
It's the FUTURE. - MatthewK, on 11/15/2008, -3/+76We already have things like speech recognition, touch screens, and touchpads, yet the standard mouse still dominates. I think the main reason why is simply because nothing beats it for speed and accuracy. I can pinpoint a location on the screen far faster than with a touchpad. The Nintendo Wii controller is great, it really helps with things like solving the issue of FPS control with consoles. But.... it still doesn't beat the standard mouse. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for a revolutionary replacement for the mouse, but I just haven't really seen it yet.
- P1um, on 11/15/2008, -1/+58yes
- shaggiest, on 11/15/2008, -0/+53"Enhance....enhance...enhance...."
"JUST PRINT THE DAMN THING" - linksus, on 11/15/2008, -0/+49Damn straight! this will be perfect for people whos job is to slide ***** about ;)
- ninjaturtles1, on 11/15/2008, -1/+42Nothing beats the Power Glove!!!!!!!

At the end of the video he says it is cool, but your arms will become tired after a while.

- rframpton, on 11/15/2008, -0/+38Except for when you have to scratch your nose and end up blowing your character's head off.
- goettel, on 11/15/2008, -4/+31Thought it was the gram of Dutch I smoked before breakfast.
- brstilson, on 11/15/2008, -3/+29We've seen the future, and it's a big-ass table.
Take that, Apple. - Rival13, on 11/15/2008, -0/+25I agree.
- brstilson, on 11/15/2008, -1/+26They've invented a glove-shaped WiiMote
- y2kery, on 11/15/2008, -10/+34Can you imagine someone sitting in an office using one of these for 8 hours a day? 3 words...point and click. Simple is better.
- Seann7656, on 11/15/2008, -3/+27Boner achieved
- tieInterceptor, on 11/15/2008, -5/+27does it predict murders in the future? because if not it's just a wii mote plus projectors on a custom interface.
- noxcovenant, on 11/15/2008, -2/+24That's exactly what I was thinking. it's not practical for long-use. Minority Report had the future all wrong. The real feature is a GUI controlled completely by the brain.
- Sil369, on 11/15/2008, -1/+22+ video gaming (console and PC)
- minnepinne, on 11/15/2008, -0/+21Throw in the hologram-thingy from CNN and we could build our own robot-suits.
- zulfy26, on 11/15/2008, -4/+25r u?
- zulfy26, on 11/15/2008, -0/+21I like the part where they "shoot" with their thumb and forefinger what they want to select.
- HouseofEl, on 11/15/2008, -0/+19Very cool. Obviously no application just yet in the real world, but give it 10...hell, maybe even 5 years and it could be very slick.
- noahgelman, on 11/15/2008, -2/+21If you have to ask how much it costs then you can't afford it
- bloomanchoo, on 11/15/2008, -0/+18It's for the Department of Precrime!
- bethlagarrison, on 11/15/2008, -1/+18I don't think anything will replace a mouse for basic computing in the near future. But for things like 3D modelling, or even new forms of gaming (Wii), newer technologies provide a useful new way to experience and interact with content.
- Zervaman, on 11/15/2008, -0/+17"Welcome...to the world of tomorrow!"
- cerealjynx, on 11/15/2008, -0/+16Where's my damn fuel efficient flying car?
- mistamoose, on 11/15/2008, -3/+18Very cool. Is there a real practical business purpose for this kind of capability, other than coolness factor?
- drizzlelicious, on 11/15/2008, -0/+15You just wanted to use the word malaise didn't you?
- cliffdogg, on 11/15/2008, -1/+16Speak for yourself! I can't tell you how many times I've been moving around letters on my computer screen thinking "there has to be a better and much more expensive way!"
- slapded, on 11/15/2008, -0/+14what.. you never just move pics around on your desktop?? :P
- Sil369, on 11/15/2008, -2/+16wobbly.
- PrestonSnow, on 11/15/2008, -1/+15F that. I want that computer MI6 had in Quantum of Solace.
- drgmdp, on 11/15/2008, -0/+13+ porn
- fenderbiz, on 11/15/2008, -1/+12I never understood the benefit of touch screens and this kind of crap. Sure, it looks cool and everything, but mouse and keyboard is a lot more efficient. You have much accuracy and control with the mouse.
We got touch-screens at work in the emergency room, and everyone was like, COOL!! and then everyone was back to using the mouse and keyboard within a couple weeks. - cyphin6, on 11/15/2008, -3/+14No it won't change "everything", for the number one reason everything has flaws and though this is a pretty incredible display of the combination of technology it looks like it takes a hell of a lot of work to learn to use, not something someone can just come and pick up in a week.
- elpresidente408, on 11/15/2008, -1/+12They said towards the end that it's best suited for large data sets. Could have use in the military as it continues to become more high tech. You could pan around the battlefield, click a Predator icon hovering above, and toss the video feed to one of the side monitors. Then you could zoom down to the soldier level, click one of the units, and get a live video feed. You could quickly manage a lot of people/information without typing or scrolling.
- Rhendal, on 11/15/2008, -0/+11No, a cheesy thing to say would be "Move over, Microsoft Surface...for some gorgonzola."
- bethlagarrison, on 11/15/2008, -2/+13Does anyone know what the song playing in the background is?
- inactive, on 11/15/2008, -3/+14I came here thinking precrime became a reality. What a buzz kill.
