- mkriss5681, on 10/19/2009, -0/+73If there is anything that will improve my chances with the ladies at the local bar, it's a Blackberry watch phone.
- castingshade, on 10/19/2009, -0/+47I think the world is getting far too overindulgent in it's laziness when we have $400.00 devices that tell us abridged versions of what our other $400.00 device is trying to tell us if only we weren't too lazy to pull them out.
- sklassen, on 10/19/2009, -1/+42Now it's easier than ever to keep track of all the vagina you're not going to get.
- buzzydotinfo, on 10/19/2009, -0/+31About time too. The biggest issue I have with the Blackberry is that it has to go in a pocket. Whenever you need to check that uber-urgent email, or get the details of your next multi-million dollar meeting, you've got to take it all the way out of the pocket again. That's just *such* a hassle.
- scboi, on 10/19/2009, -0/+22Why are people still using tinypic?

- missjames, on 10/19/2009, -0/+14wow, this is crazy. my first thought: calculator watch.
- crichton101, on 10/19/2009, -0/+9Calling Dick Tracy, come in Dick Tracy.....
- NoNamesLeft, on 10/19/2009, -1/+7Those renderings look like they were made in the Quake 2 Engine.
- McNash, on 10/19/2009, -0/+6@blazes816
It uses bluetooth to connect to the phone, so nothing. - castingshade, on 10/19/2009, -0/+6Let the Reboot 'Glitch' parodies begin...
- Coling2k2, on 10/19/2009, -0/+6What joke?
- paradigm1220, on 10/19/2009, -0/+6WHOOOOSH
- 0biKwiet, on 10/19/2009, -0/+5I got that for my birthday when I was like, 12. I thought it was the coolest thing ever.
- inigomntoya, on 10/19/2009, -0/+5You are being buried because we consider dry humping 'getting laid'
- scuba7183, on 10/19/2009, -0/+5This = instantly laid
- inactive, on 10/19/2009, -2/+6Childhood memories of Goldeneye on N64...come true?

- DjOverEZ, on 10/19/2009, -2/+6I hope it has an app that will calculate how long the wearer will remain a virgin.
Answer: As long as he's wearing that ridiculous watch. - ChileanGoD, on 10/20/2009, -0/+4Woaaa.. thanks for the flash back. I used to have this one during my high school nerd years. (what the hell, i'm still a nerd):

- rmxz, on 10/19/2009, -0/+3Less goofy looking than those big PDA-phones people carry around today.
I'm guessing cell phones eventually end up like the old star trek lapel pin badges.
Only the geeks will carry the big bulky tricorder-like things.
IMHO This watch is a step in the right direction for mobile phone technology; but will feel even better when it's small enough it doesn't even need to be strapped to a wrist. - 4rp4n3t, on 10/19/2009, -0/+3Oh yes you can...
- antdude, on 10/19/2009, -0/+3I still wear and use a CASIO Data Bank watch (150 model). :)
- inigomntoya, on 10/19/2009, -0/+399? What are you doing in my watch?
- blazes816, on 10/19/2009, -0/+3Well. That ruins the joke.
- SpazAttack5000, on 10/19/2009, -0/+3I wouldn't wear it to the bar but I would certainly wear it to work. That's about all though.
- NathanielJ, on 10/19/2009, -0/+2Well good thing this isn't made by RIM then...
- ChileanGoD, on 10/20/2009, -0/+2I believe it was the last one of it's kind.
EDIT: A quick search showed me I was dead wrong..
http://www.casio.com/products/Timepiece/Databank/E ... - Mateo2, on 10/19/2009, -0/+2sad to see a company die slowly. if i owned a company whose doom was imminent, i would just go ahead and fold the company.
- ohplease, on 10/19/2009, -1/+3Ya, glancing at your watch when someone is talking to you isn't rude at all.
- BoneStamp, on 10/19/2009, -0/+2You're right, it's very rude. That's why I said it, "can be much more subtle." There's no way you can reach into your pocket, pull out your blackberry, click around on it and then put it back without anybody noticing. But you can take a quick glance at your watch in a number of subtle ways.
- inigomntoya, on 10/20/2009, -0/+2Well, yeah... I mean, that is just another shade of gray when it comes to dry humping.
- bodger, on 10/19/2009, -0/+2I didn't buy one because of the app store policies.
- mattharvey716, on 10/19/2009, -2/+4yep, looks real
/s - strictnein, on 10/19/2009, -0/+2Have you seen what's considered "fashionable" these days for watches? Gaudy and huge are two of the requirements.
- ancientshoes, on 10/20/2009, -0/+1back to the future.
this is what we were promised in the 50's - flacidwhammy, on 10/19/2009, -0/+1pop that berry
- ChileanGoD, on 10/20/2009, -0/+1I can see it perfectly matching those already using the bluetooth headsets everywhere they go.
- St0neman, on 10/19/2009, -0/+1It's built to hold porn. That is all.
- Turbojugend27, on 10/19/2009, -0/+1I deserved that I should've read the article I thought this was the blackberry watch that RIM is making
- Juleslicious, on 10/19/2009, -0/+1and we can't see the time?
- Qays, on 10/19/2009, -2/+3I can't see anyone wearing that without looking like an idiot
- unrealmp3, on 10/19/2009, -0/+1It will stop time to let you choose your weapon without worries.
- antdude, on 10/19/2009, -0/+1"* Update - Just to be clear as I've seen some confusion in the commments, but as far as we know at this time the inPulse watch is not being made by/for BlackBerry (it won't feature a BlackBerry logo), but is being made for use with BlackBerry Smartphones. However, this is in fact "the BlackBerry watch" that has been referred to previously in articles dating back to WES in May. There isn't another RIM-built BlackBerry watch out there. *"
