- thegrantman, on 12/05/2008, -1/+77No one wants to see your hand.
- thegrantman, on 12/05/2008, -0/+42He should make it glow red for the Terminator effect.
- replaysMike, on 12/05/2008, -10/+29I had the same idea to put one in my penis.
- inactive, on 12/05/2008, -1/+17Epic ownage.
- Llanowar, on 12/05/2008, -1/+15If he does, I certainly hope it won't be looking me straight in the eye.
- inactive, on 12/05/2008, -0/+13That is brilliant, though I did think it was going into a real eye at first.
- adrenalmedulla9, on 12/05/2008, -0/+13Didn't we digg this before?
Except it was a girl who wanted it done? - Andrewmatt, on 12/05/2008, -4/+16I hope he's not installing it in his brown eye.
- jcaino, on 12/05/2008, -1/+12i think that if I had a prosthetic eye that this would be a logical decision.
- drmobutu, on 12/05/2008, -0/+10We have the technology...
- inactive, on 12/05/2008, -7/+17EyePod technology
- PixelD, on 12/05/2008, -0/+9$10 and a box of Cap'n Crunch and I can make it happen.
- cliffzdude, on 12/05/2008, -1/+10Better than his first idea, to install his eye in a camera.
- TracyMapes, on 12/05/2008, -0/+8They still haven't developed a camera that small. :)
- coldkill3r, on 12/05/2008, -0/+8Win.
+2 Internets - casbboy, on 12/05/2008, -3/+11Until the thing short circuits and fries his brain with it
- diggydougie, on 12/05/2008, -0/+7This is a good test of my personal view that anything that a person can see with his eyes should be legal to photograph. Can this guy legally watch a movie for example? What about the courtroom or any live show? I wish him luck. If he were to get into a car wreck or a fight in a bar this evidence would be invaluable.
- guitarplayer673, on 12/05/2008, -0/+6You'll shoot your eye out kid!
- dha07030, on 12/05/2008, -0/+6I just asked, Jesus said it was not that bad.
- madpuppy, on 12/05/2008, -1/+7Man! If I lost my freakin' eye I would have a whole bunch of different eyes I could put in the socket, A digital clock eye,an analog clock as well. a laser pointer eye (I would look like a Terminator, MAN!) one with a nail sticking out of it., an eye that squirts water....or something that looks like blood.
AH.....I'm kinda' sad 'cause I know it will never happen. - fxu1989, on 12/05/2008, -0/+5http://www.instantrimshot.com/
- Mizzike, on 12/05/2008, -0/+5In Vegas, everybody's gotta watch everybody else. Since the players are looking to beat the casino, the dealers are watching the players. The box men are watching the dealers. The floor men are watching the box men. The pit bosses are watching the floor men. The shift bosses are watching the pit bosses. The casino manager is watching the shift bosses. I'm watching the casino manager,... and the eye in the sky is watching us all.

- macunderdog, on 12/05/2008, -0/+5And ever since, POV videos have never been easier.
- TyrannousDotNet, on 12/05/2008, -0/+5will there be firmware updates?
- LucasVB, on 12/05/2008, -0/+5You're not the only one my friend. I'm saving money for the first bionic eyes. Can't wait for my infrared-nightvision-optical zoom eye.
- chevymonster, on 12/05/2008, -0/+4If the eye is anchored to the skull it will always look directly ahead.
If it is attached to eye muscles, which may have survived the 'accident',
then it would jitter around, I agree. - cliffzdude, on 12/05/2008, -0/+4We have the capability to build the world's first bionic man.
- nyx210, on 12/05/2008, -1/+5"Spence lost his right eye at 13 while playing with his grandfather's gun on a visit to Ireland. 'I wanted to shoot a pile of *****,' he says."
Interesting way to lose your eye... - roebeet, on 12/05/2008, -0/+4"I'd buy that for a dollar!"
- cliffzdude, on 12/05/2008, -1/+5Just hope he doesn't wink.
- feckineejit, on 12/05/2008, -0/+4zzzzing!
- JaredXM, on 12/05/2008, -0/+4"But once he started thinking about having a camera in his eye, Spence got in touch with Steve Mann, a professor at the University of Toronto."
I remember when I first read about Steve Mann. Wore a computer on his body and a camera on his head - yaddayaddayoda, on 12/05/2008, -0/+3I wonder if he makes than noise when his eye zooms in.
- WiretapStudios, on 12/05/2008, -0/+3That helps me see where you are coming from, without getting too involved.
- ntopaz, on 12/05/2008, -1/+4I wonder how good the resolution is on that camera.
- Einchy, on 12/05/2008, -0/+3He better have a stream.
- inactive, on 12/05/2008, -0/+3If I saw someone whose eye briefly glowed red like the Terminator's, I'd crap my pants and run like hell. He should definitely go for it, you never know when it might come handy.
- chubbstar, on 12/05/2008, -1/+4is it weird that ive always wanted to do this?
- xpinchx, on 12/05/2008, -0/+3Get your sweat pants on, we're going to the strip club!
- xptoast, on 12/05/2008, -1/+4You can't bootleg a movie with your brain though...Too bad really. Then drm would be forever pointless and without argument at all. Not even the lame ones they use right now. Dang that would be sweet.
- SummerNight, on 12/05/2008, -2/+5I'm holding out for bacon-flavored dentures.
I believe that is the secret to happiness. - shagmin, on 12/05/2008, -0/+3Bacon-flavored dentures will never happen, because if people can taste bacon all the time they won't have a reason to get a job and "bring home the bacon". Then the economy will crash and people will suffer. For males it's similar to if self-fellatio was possible, no one would leave their house and the economy would collapse and about half the population would suffer.
- metaliq, on 12/05/2008, -0/+3jesus... did you ever read the CAPTION?
no. no, you didn't. - Falldog, on 12/05/2008, -0/+3I think we've all thought about replacing a missing eye with a camera at some point or another. Especially if it glows red.
- cliffzdude, on 12/05/2008, -0/+2I'm holding out for the kung fu grip.
- rheaume, on 12/05/2008, -0/+2Flashing 12:00
- metaliq, on 12/05/2008, -0/+2Wouldn't the shots be incredibly jittery?
Eye movement isn't incredibly smooth... Eyes jot around mechanically when focusing on things. - eyeborg, on 12/05/2008, -0/+2Nope - I've been doing this for over two years.
Check out this link from 2007 - http://www.letsallhateto.com/mysampleapps/Website/ ... - StevieJanowski, on 04/02/2009, -7/+9then the CIA hacks into his eye and we are all under surveillance
