- thinboyslim, on 11/10/2009, -1/+6I'd rather have Natali's phone number than the phone itself
- inactive, on 11/10/2009, -0/+5Fortunately this isn't all that much of a pipe dream, beyond mass producing the nanomaterials required. But there has just been a massive breakthrough in that field* so this is totally feasible. Yea it'll be a bit expensive, but hell I paid $500 dollars for an iphone that is now $99, and I'm only a little more than halfway through my contract. Prices will drop and ***** like this will become common place. I for one cannot wait! (ps ***** apple)

- mebbin, on 11/10/2009, -0/+4Design looks nice and clean!!!
- firstpost, on 11/10/2009, -1/+4You're pretty lonely aint you?
- Hood15, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2Comes with hat-holder. You get a hat, it has a place where you can mount it.
- Philbert, on 11/10/2009, -0/+2I hope there's a right-handed version.
- Mercedes383, on 11/10/2009, -1/+3Not to be used at night time.
- hypesol, on 11/10/2009, -2/+3nice design ... and i like its display style
- Hood15, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1lol @ ps ***** apple..... after saying he gave them $500
- Hood15, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1google.com - skin cancer, most commonly from sun burn?
- Troyjinman, on 11/10/2009, -1/+2Keep on dreaming guys.... ;)
- mariuspiatek, on 11/12/2009, -0/+1Indeed. I would use it even if i had to carry it in my hand so it can charge. lol
- combatcupcake, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1This is a great idea.........for all the people who keep their phone in their pocket all day!
- spiralspirit, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1go buy the iphone new, its still $500. $99 is on an overpriced 3 year service agreement in which they take the difference from you in service fees instead of outright in the phone.
This is a pipe dream. Even if you had come up with efficient enough nano-material to act as a solar panel (which we havent), phones are basically kept in your pocket or holster. The pull out/rolled display is still nowhere near market and the price is I'm sure beyond marketability.
Prices won't drop, and in fact have held steady in the smartphone arena for the last 5-10 years(~$300-200 for the latest and greatest on a 3 year plan, less for older phones). You want the price to drop, but those that manufacture the phone, and those that sell the phone, would rather you continue to make them some profit. - firezflight, on 11/10/2009, -1/+2now we can get cancer from the sun too!
- firstpost, on 11/10/2009, -1/+2I know it's just a concept, but I think there's one basic flaw in this design: How is this thing going to charge in the sun when almost every user carries it in their pocket? I like the idea, but it's just not realistic...
- inactive, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1Technology grows at an exponential rate. As time progresses, advances will be made more numerously and in greater leaps and bounds.
It will be feasible within a decade, mark my word. This is hardly a pipe dream. World peace, now that's a pipe dream.

- inactive, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1I didn't give them $500, I paid $500 and got a phone. Which is standard procedure for me; I've never had a phone less than that. I like my technology, and I've got the money, what can I say.
And I said ***** Apple, not the iphone. It's the best phone there is on the market (sadly), but apple as a company can suck my balls. - tyne101101, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1Looks bulky, but it's a nice idea.
- burnt1ce85, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1Cool design but impossible to make in mass quantities in the next 10 years with the technology we have now.
- inactive, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1oh and http://news.discovery.com/tech/spray-paint-with-so ...
seriously these things aren't as ridiculous as they sound at first. we just need to invest in it, and they will come. - havuk, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1Samsung Blue Earth already did that
- TrendyTim, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1hopefully its the only one, the last thing we need is people dictating their god damn SMSs and emails instead of typing them silently.
- EddiE314, on 11/10/2009, -0/+1So, I'm supposed to leave a black colored object sit in the sun for a few hours? The Lithium batteries are gonna love those high temperatures. /s
- mheyk, on 11/10/2009, -0/+0A roll out screen? Id rather have HD projection or something thats less likely to get damaged
- rickythepilot, on 11/10/2009, -2/+1Any of these designers ever hear of Voice Recognition? I'm sure iPhone will be the first one to discard the keyboard.
- inactive, on 11/10/2009, -3/+2Great!!! wonders of technology.......
- TheActivedigger, on 11/10/2009, -3/+1It is amazing if put it on my hand ,haha
- xpinchx, on 11/10/2009, -6/+4I'd drag my dick through a mile of broken glass just to hear her fart into a walkie talkie.
- Michaelabehsera, on 11/10/2009, -3/+1ya to many iphone killers but then again a million iphone killers will kill the iphone, because even if they all sell couple of thousands as a whole it will beat the iphone
