myespn.go.com — We can finally put to bed one of flimsiest pregame storylines in recent memory. People who I know in the business, some with solid credentials, honestly thought the Cowboys would lose to the Packers because they'd never won at historic Lambeau Field.

  • inactive, on 09/22/2008, -0/+4ok, the giants played the ***** dolphins in london, a completely different time zone on a field made for soccer. plus, the bengals offense was amazing. playing against one of the best defenses in the country and down 0-2, they played awesome. meanwhile, the cowboys beat a rookie who has only started two games, barely beat the eagles, and a crappy browns team. and finally, eli manning can actually win playoff games. part of that is not being a dumbass and partying in mexico the week before the ***** playoffs. off-season? fine. but you don't do that ***** in the regular season, let alone the playoffs.

Nowhere to be seen during the three straight 5-11 seasons but have a couple of good ones in a row, and everyone has been a Cowboys fan their entire life. I live in Dallas and you cannot imagine how bad it is. So bad that I've developed a Cowboys Quiz that asks basic questions like, "Name the Cowboys' coaches since Jimmy Johnson left?" or "Who did the Cowboys lose to in the Tony Romo dropped snap game?" and even "Name 20 players on the Cowboys roster." No one has passed. Just simple questions a fan should know.
