- TTURabble, on 10/22/2008, -1/+35"Which brings us back to the Cowboys and their two Roy Williamses."
I believe the correct term is Roy Williami. - Branchex, on 10/22/2008, -2/+28Once people figure out this mentions Ron Paul and even includes a link to a picture of him playing baseball people are going to digg this like crazy.
- 0xbaadf00d, on 10/22/2008, -0/+211. Their numbers are different.
2. They are never on the field at the same time. - guairdean, on 10/22/2008, -0/+16What's the big deal, don't the numbers keep things straight?
- inactive, on 10/22/2008, -1/+13They fight to the death.
- konforce, on 10/22/2008, -0/+11You put one of them on IR.
- seedsofwar, on 10/22/2008, -2/+10BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRING
- inactive, on 10/22/2008, -2/+9i like the part where they're both named roy williams
- inactive, on 10/22/2008, -1/+8They should use numbers to distinguish players also. For example, the receiver Roy Williams could be #80, and the safety Roy Williams could be #38.
- bullox, on 10/22/2008, -1/+6You might be on to something here.
They could also have two separate 'teams' of players that are on the field at different times so that the two Williamses are not on the field at the same time. One team could be named 'Offense' and the other team 'Defense'.
Too crazy? - aigulf, on 10/22/2008, -1/+6"Don't forget"...what am I saying? This is the Pirates. You'd have to know something about them in order to forget it.
- enivid, on 10/22/2008, -2/+7... dude shut up... you're pointing out the flaws of this story which will get you dugg down... keep your head low...
- LinuxCobra, on 10/22/2008, -0/+4rock, paper, scissors... best 2 out of 3.
- Blind0825, on 10/22/2008, -1/+5Exactly what he was going to post.
I wasn't going to post anything. - Jb611, on 10/22/2008, -2/+6RTFA

- dlinkwit27, on 10/22/2008, -0/+3dugg for ron paul :)
- plainOldFool, on 10/22/2008, -0/+3As a Met fan, I always did like them Bobby Jones boys.
- inactive, on 10/22/2008, -1/+4Exactly what I was going to post.
- sadpoti, on 10/22/2008, -1/+4dugg for Ron Paul . . .
- EatSleepJeep, on 10/22/2008, -0/+2And they wear numbers 93 & 94.
And they both play on the defensive line on the same plays.
And they're both huge.
And good.
And I'm rambling.
And I'm done. - theskillwithin, on 10/22/2008, -0/+2how much does this really matter?
- hoisonsauce, on 10/22/2008, -0/+2Did they play on the same team at the same time?
- Spymodhf, on 10/22/2008, -1/+3They murder the weaker one
- sfhock, on 10/22/2008, -0/+2They should use their Wu-Names.
Unlucky Samurai - GregFD3S, on 10/22/2008, -0/+2Why don't they just change their name to their number in Spanish? Ocho Cinco?
- yhup, on 10/22/2008, -0/+2When I played Madden 08 and did the fantasy draft thing for the franchise, the Cardinals drafted the two Adrian Petersons.
That was confusing. By any chance the two Adrian Peterson goes into the same team how would you differ them? They're both running backs, so that's worse than the two Roy Williams. The one uses 28 and the other uses 29 so that could be a difference factor. Or maybe you could differ one from the other as the "better" Adrian Peterson and the "sucky" Adrian Peterson.
Or maybe just use their middle names. That would be more civilized. - Archer007, on 10/22/2008, -0/+2I really hope their primary keys weren't their last names.
- AManOfLOP33, on 10/22/2008, -0/+2Now if they can get Roy Williams to leave UNC and change sports to replace Wade Phillips, we would really be in business.
- ShugNinx21, on 10/22/2008, -0/+1Not only the numbers, but 1 player can have R. Williams on his jersey and the other can have Just Williams on theirs.
Of course one of the points of the numbers is so you can tell which player is which from afar, so adding their names to the backs of jerseys is superfluous. - aigulf, on 10/22/2008, -1/+2Don't forget the Pittsburgh Pirates, who signed Andy LaRoche to complement his older brother Adam LaRoche this summer.
- inactive, on 10/22/2008, -1/+2fight to the death.
- kmattso, on 10/22/2008, -0/+1Roy Williams is a silly name. They should both change their name to Willie Williams.
- ShooterMcGavin, on 10/22/2008, -0/+1Boise State had a Mike T Williams and a Mike G Williams... no big deal
- jimmyisprollyth, on 10/22/2008, -0/+1so...nothing
- 4321234, on 10/22/2008, -0/+1The NHL's Vancouver Canucks had 2 players named Greg Adams in the 88-89 season. Both left wingers. The other players nicknamed one "Gus" to avoid confusion.
- spencemitch05, on 10/22/2008, -3/+4I'm Roy Williams *says like Spartacus"
- bwjacket, on 10/22/2008, -0/+1dugg for paul lukas getting some love. uniwatchblog.com ftw.
- aschwartz, on 10/22/2008, -0/+1What amazes me is that this guy found pictures for all of these, including one that looks like it was taken from an old ass TV set.
- kaosethema, on 10/23/2008, -0/+1like, OMG, there are, like, four other people at the office with, like, the same last name, like, OMG, i can so relate
(sarcasm, of course) - justreboot, on 10/22/2008, -0/+1If all black people didn't look the same it wouldn't be a problem.
- rossnyc, on 10/23/2008, -0/+1One plays offense, one plays on defense. That's pretty distinguishing.
- FENWAYFREAK, on 10/22/2008, -0/+1One of them breaks their arm so he won't play for the rest of the season and they are left with one active player.
- inactive, on 10/22/2008, -0/+1UConn's basketball team had two All Americans, Donyell Marshall and Donny Marshall, at the same time in the 90s.
- sho76und3wd, on 10/22/2008, -0/+1If only they had something on their jersey to indicate that it was a different person. Maybe a letter or a number.....
I mean this can really get confusing. What if the WR goes in as safety and vice-versa? This could just be devestating and confuse the opposite team! - SwedishNinja, on 10/22/2008, -0/+1Don't forget Pat and Kevin Williams on the Vikings.
What is it with Williamses anyways?! - slundal, on 10/22/2008, -0/+1You're the middle initial! /Bart
- nymphetamine, on 10/22/2008, -2/+2Ron Paul? FAP FAP FAP FAP
- gineraso, on 10/22/2008, -1/+1It won't matter since Roy Williams #38 re-injured his arm and is done for the season and probably won't be back on America's Team next year.
- ramenite, on 10/22/2008, -1/+1If it's one thing I TRY to forget, it's the Pirates piss-poor seasons and players.
I was rooting for Boston because of Jason Bay however. -
