- MikeonTV, on 11/27/2007, -0/+31He was being robbed in his house at night numbnuts
- jmu1330, on 11/27/2007, -1/+25Such awful news for a guy that really seemed to be growing up. He has an 18 month old kid. I really hope he is able to somehow pull through this. God speed Sean.
- SeaMowse, on 11/27/2007, -5/+16Don't spam my submission with this crap, jackass.
- kuck, on 11/27/2007, -3/+14i live outside of dc and everyone here is pretty upset about it
he was an amazing player and lets hope he still will be
hope the best for you sean - Wailord, on 11/27/2007, -2/+12I hope the psychobitch that shot him is caught and gets what's coming to him.
- SeaMowse, on 11/27/2007, -3/+12Why are you spamming all of the articles on this guy? Buried your comment and reported it.

"After encouraging news Monday night, Redskins safety Sean Taylor died one day after being shot in the leg at his Florida home."
Terrible... - SEGA4life, on 11/27/2007, -0/+7I live in South Florida and haven't turned on the news today, just found this Digg.
This truly sucks,he's to young and has to much talent, I hope he makes it. - cam18, on 11/27/2007, -0/+6So he deserves to be shot because of your short-sighted view of sports?
- TwoKill, on 11/27/2007, -1/+7I think I can speak for all Redskin fans when I say that this season has felt pretty badly cursed for us. With Sean Spring's dad in a coma, many players sustaining injuries and now this... It really blows, you're in our hopes and prayers Sean.
- jperdomo, on 11/27/2007, -0/+5This situation is pretty screwed up. I live literally 2 blocks from his house and it was swarming with cop cars, media, and completely yellow tapped off. Crazy to think it happened so close while I slept. Hope he pulls through.
- realwx, on 11/27/2007, -0/+5RTFA
- cam18, on 11/27/2007, -1/+5Why do all of the 4chan rejects come here?
- realwx, on 11/27/2007, -1/+5Everybody's talking about it everywhere around where I live. I hope he survives, despite the massive blood loss and possible brain damage.
- SEGA4life, on 11/27/2007, -0/+3Were did you find that info? (ScottieB)
- ScottieB, on 11/27/2007, -0/+3He didn't make it...it's really sad. I can't believe it. It looked like he was gonna pull through. I'm gonna go hug my son.
- cam18, on 11/27/2007, -0/+3Yeah...cause all black athletes are criminals with "crews" that do their dirty work. Oh wait...it was Sean that was shot.
You're an idiot. - Typhoon2009, on 11/27/2007, -1/+3I mildly agree. I really hope the guy gets through this fine. I'm not much of a football guy but I'm sure he has a promising career, and like it or not there is skill involved in being a pro athlete (at least in things like football... not WWE, hah). That being said, it's a bit odd that some people (at least at my school ) were like "I'll cry if he's gone forever"... tons of people die every damn day, and most people just shrug that fact off. Unless it's some real high-profile celebrity (reminds me of the whole Anna Nicole Smith brouhaha early this year), people don't really seem to get bugged by that.
- hokeywebb22, on 11/27/2007, -0/+2I'm a HUGE redskins fan and right now I don't care if he ever plays football again. I am just hoping that he won't have any long term damage. It's so sad that something like this had to happen while he was just sitting at home.Pull through this Sean.
- popnwave, on 11/27/2007, -0/+2He's had run ins with the law and guns before. He probably got rid of the ones he had at home and kept the machete and his protection... Smart move? Who can say, but the guy was having a great season and finally seemed to have his ghtto/thug lifestyle fading into the past.
- cam18, on 11/27/2007, -1/+3Or he had his house broken into before...
- shm0edawg, on 11/27/2007, -0/+2updated story:
http://sports.aol.com/fanhouse/2007/11/26/sean-tay ... - thaboosh, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1BTW after reading other comments by you it is clear to see you are an ignorant bigot.
- dmoney22, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1Yeah. I heard on the news that someone broke into his house 8 days before. Makes you wonder wtf they were looking for or if it was the same guy.
- ScottieB, on 11/27/2007, -3/+4Major improvement in his condition, he's responsive and has opened his eyes!
- Veretax, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1This is a tragedy beyond words. as a Redskin fan I will miss #21!
- ScottieB, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1Washingtonpost.com They spoke with his agent or attorney who said his eyes had opened, and he was squeezing the doctor's hand when instructed to. No speech yet. Still in ICU.
- istatic, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1Well, now I really feel like an ass.
RIP Sean Taylor - 3tcp, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1This comment is not a surprise, most cowboy fans are idiots.
- dunnduggit, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1He found it next to reply.
- cowboy86, on 11/27/2007, -1/+2You're obviously jealous of his fame and fortune. He chose the route he took in life. Don't hate him for making millions doing it.
- thaboosh, on 11/27/2007, -1/+1ya, cause if a crime was committed it had to be done BY the high profile black man not to him.
/sarcasm - kuck, on 11/27/2007, -3/+2thanks you really show sympathy for a father of an 18 month year old
- cowboy86, on 11/27/2007, -3/+1Umm, why would someone break into your house multiple times like that unless they had something against you. Learn to read and comprehend comments.
- gudnbluts, on 11/27/2007, -3/+1burglarized?
- heystoopid, on 11/27/2007, -4/+1Sounds like a standard Florida cop hit to me !
- bspp, on 11/27/2007, -3/+0holy *****... ***** the cowboys but this is the comment is awesome. dugg
- jmpeagle, on 11/27/2007, -4/+1maybe you didn't read my comment...I don't have sympathy
- BoneStamp, on 11/27/2007, -7/+3Everyone should have a gun to protect themselves, then twice as many people get shot!
In all seriousness, I hope you make it Sean. - tightscrummy, on 11/27/2007, -4/+0Probably by one of "crew".
- crzdmn, on 11/27/2007, -8/+3I refuse to DIGG this. Yes it's a shame he was shot. Yes I hope he survives for his own sake. I would actually read the article if it said "Man shot by home intruder is fighting for his life.".
Does the fact that he plays football matter, NO. - tightscrummy, on 11/27/2007, -8/+1Oh thank Ron Paul!
- cowboy86, on 11/27/2007, -9/+1There is a funny part to this story. How Sean Taylor was in bed with his girlfriend and heard a noise. Then he got up and got his machete which he keeps as protection. Who in the hell keeps a machete as protection? It's kind of weird that he heard the burglar break in then literally less than a minute later he/she busts into his room and shoots twice. Missing once. In the groin area which was initially reported. now they say it was in the leg. Sounds like he either gave someone the clap or maybe he owes "the don" a favor or some cash.
- tightscrummy, on 11/27/2007, -11/+0He's a ***** adult who gets paid obscene amounts of money to play a kids game for other developmental-stunted adults...get over it.
- jmpeagle, on 11/27/2007, -14/+3way to generalize...I live outside D.C. and I couldn't care less...partly because I am a Cowboys fan
- istatic, on 11/27/2007, -17/+2Wait, WHAT? Are you the same guy that was looking through my window last night?
- istatic, on 11/27/2007, -19/+1Sean thought it was funny, just ask him.
- duggtodeath, on 11/27/2007, -41/+2*****, someone call Bruce Willis!
