- HeDiggMe, on 12/30/2008, -2/+88He should change his name to Leroy Jenkins
- inactive, on 12/30/2008, -2/+28Yeah but at least this is hilarious.
- td34, on 12/31/2008, -4/+24It would be cooler if he changed his name to Kratos. I mean, if you change your name to World of Warcraft, how do you expect to talk on the phone?
"Hello?"
"Hey, it's World of Warcraft. What's up?"
"..."
I wouldn't want to be seen in public with a person named World of Warcraft. But Kratos, on the other hand...
"Hello?"
"Hey, it's Kratos. What's up?"
"Holy *****! I get to hang out with Kratos!"
Talk about a badass name. - Noooooooooooooo, on 12/31/2008, -1/+18WoW will take your soul. Other then that I'll wait for T.O to change his name to "Cancer".
- AllHereTruth, on 12/31/2008, -1/+15We elected a Pro Wrestler as Governor.
We are close to electing a former SNL cast member to the US Senate.
Why not have Chris WOW as our punter. - inactive, on 12/30/2008, -4/+18I love game just as much as the next guy but this is ridiculous.
- DeviantDragon, on 12/31/2008, -0/+13"Leeroy"
- identityxcrysis, on 12/31/2008, -3/+15I'm looking all over this for the words "the Onion"
- Enkairi, on 12/31/2008, -2/+13If he does it I would buy his jersey, no lie.
- sticko13, on 12/31/2008, -0/+9I don't know, I'm pretty sure he was completely joking. It was an off-the-cuff comment mocking Chad Johnson.
- gonegoogling, on 12/31/2008, -1/+10skol vikings!]
- NadesXe, on 12/31/2008, -0/+7And Tarvaris Jackson can change his name to Michael Vick.
- vinceislegend, on 12/31/2008, -0/+7...since when can you buy the jerseys of punters?
- JLESSER1000, on 12/31/2008, -4/+11dugg for the Vikes
- charlie55, on 12/31/2008, -0/+6"It's hard to tell if he's being facetious or not." - article
inaccurate. - AuburnTigers, on 12/31/2008, -0/+5Did anyone read the article? It just sounds like he was joking for some lolz on his radio show. I really doubt he gave this any thought at all.
- Brak710101, on 12/31/2008, -0/+5I remember seeing this guy's application to a guild.
Seems like a cool guy, I would love to see him do this just to see how people react. - ryrocker, on 12/31/2008, -1/+5but he's ***** after he leaves the NFL...
but on the other hand...
he might land a sweet deal with blizzard
=] - griffeycom, on 12/31/2008, -0/+4"Interesting, very clever. Kickers/Punters already don't get alot of respect in the NFL. Why not try to profit from this already un-popular position?"
I don't believe this is true. As a Colts fan and a resident of Indiana I know lots of people love the fact that we have Adam Vinatieri. He's a great kicker and has one of the best kick %'s. I also see TONS of Vinatieri jerseys on game day...and even on random days when people decide to show off their favorite team's jersey! - darkzealot89, on 12/30/2008, -3/+7WoW addiction is ridiculous.
- BillDauterive, on 12/31/2008, -0/+4I'm just waiting on that first person to change their name to Leisure Suit Larry.
- Kannebas, on 12/31/2008, -0/+4It looks like Chris... is leveling up on marketing.
- santaliqueur, on 12/31/2008, -1/+4In reading the article, it's hard to believe anyone would assume he's actually going to change his name.
- MINDmantra, on 12/31/2008, -1/+4i love sex i think im going to change my name to "***** me harder"
- BIGJOE1975, on 01/01/2009, -0/+3"Jenkins"
- djtomorama, on 12/31/2008, -1/+4haha what else is there to do in minnesota
- FallenTurtles, on 12/31/2008, -0/+3We HAD to elect him governor! He ain't got time to bleed!!! The clock was ticking!
- identityxcrysis, on 12/31/2008, -0/+3I'm not sure if that's a compliment to me, or just an insult to everyone else on digg!
- fitzfan, on 12/31/2008, -0/+3Because there was too much inventory built up of "Johnson" jerseys. Chad could have bought out the remaining inventory if he wanted. He will be Ocho Cinco next year. I doubt there is too big of a build up of Kluwe jerseys at Reebok.
- inactive, on 12/31/2008, -0/+3Andre Kirilinko of Utah Jazz ***** his career up by playing too much WoW.
- FreddieD, on 12/31/2008, -0/+2At least place kickers are usually under a tremendous amount of stress as many of their kicks make a direct difference between a win and a loss.
I think the punter is probably the most stress free job in all of team sports. - pjwalen, on 12/31/2008, -0/+2You have to admit, our sense of humor is pretty fantastic :) It's the cold.
- Rammstein2133, on 12/31/2008, -0/+2Agreed.
- OzzieAlThor, on 12/31/2008, -0/+2If I understand correctly, he also runs a clan.
- WrldsWrstDigger, on 12/31/2008, -0/+2he can change it if he wants to but it ain't going on his jersey, just ask Ocho Cinco how that worked out.
- Zarokima, on 12/31/2008, -0/+2There isn't, they're innate!
http://digg.com/general_sciences/Human_Beings_Are_ ... - Adwt0125, on 12/31/2008, -0/+2He should just change his last name to "Jenkins"
- TheHeat, on 12/31/2008, -0/+2Undoubtedly the best comment this article will receive.
- ithejosh, on 12/31/2008, -1/+3This is great. Go for it man.
- Feenix566, on 12/31/2008, -0/+2That would be great publicity for Blizzard. Madden and the rest of the NFL announcers would be saying the title of their game day in and day out. I wonder how much Blizzard would be willing to pay him to do it. Banks already pay top dollar for the privilege of having a stadium named after them. (The Eagles play in the Lincoln Financial Field, and the Phillies play in Citizens' Bank Park) Why not extend this trend to players' names?
If I were an NFL player, I'd put my name up on EBay and have potential sponsors bid on the prospect of me changing my name to their logo. Pretty soon you'd have quarterbacks Tom Coca-Cola and Payton Starbucks. - inactive, on 01/01/2009, -0/+2***** punters. did you know the minimum salary for a punter whose been pro for 10+ years is 820,000?
- djtomorama, on 12/31/2008, -0/+2NJ.
i did just live in minneapolis for half a year though. - slvrbullet87, on 12/31/2008, -0/+2Nobody would buy an Ocho-Cinco jersey because it isnt even proper spanish, ocho-cinco would be pronounced eight five, not eighty five
- Vaelkar, on 01/01/2009, -0/+2Hey, shut the ***** up please.
Thanks. - coderukus, on 12/31/2008, -0/+2drink beer.
- kjones555, on 12/31/2008, -0/+2I didn't like Ocho-cinco because it wasn't right. Ochenta y cinco if is the proper way to say it and it is still annoying sounding.
- FreddieD, on 12/31/2008, -0/+2What the hell Minnesota?
First you have senatorial write in votes for "Lizard People" and "Brett Favre", now this? - d4nie1, on 12/31/2008, -0/+2The guy was clearly joking. He's not changing his name to World of Warcraft. The website is just sensationalizing a joke he made to make fun of Chad Johnson aka Ocho Cinco.
