- abran1984, on 07/20/2008, -1/+37WTF is Heath doing as the thumb for this article?
- charlie55, on 07/20/2008, -2/+28heath ledger was gonna rush for 15 TDs this season, ***** minimum.

A new study shows that water is, indeed, wet.
More at 10. - inactive, on 07/20/2008, -5/+15Speaking about the accompanied photo, is there such thing as being "Ledger-rolled"?
- sarchosis, on 07/20/2008, -1/+6He would have made a great Favre in a movie.
- ericthegreat, on 07/20/2008, -1/+5That has to be one of the worst written articles I've seen in some time.
- vulpescry, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3That's ***** up.
Posting a pic of Heath like that just so you can try to get more diggs.
I'm burying you mother *****. - hartley, on 07/21/2008, -0/+3After the break, the rest of the world is waiting for futbol season.
More at 11. - endustry, on 07/21/2008, -0/+2Yeah, what's with all the players overdosing on Ambien this offseason?
- 8bitclassics, on 07/20/2008, -1/+3Gotta love, "Based on personnel inactivity, the Chicago Bears seemed to be considering the survival tactic of punting on first down."
- jamessavik, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1>>Emphasis on team
That'll be amazing. The sports-media loves soap operas and prima-donas. If they don't have any, they will create some. - inactive, on 07/21/2008, -0/+1Well you'll be right when there's any evidence of an NFL ref taking money from bookies. Thus far you seem to be wrong though. Fixing games is kind of dumb... the only reason to do it is to bet it heavily, and Vegas detects that pretty easily.
- hartley, on 07/21/2008, -0/+1Unless you live in Green Bay, its not "your" team.
- inactive, on 07/20/2008, -1/+2Well, out of every batch is a few bad apples. You're not really that naive to think that all of a group of people are that honest when it comes to a helluva lot of money?
And you are wrong about making more in salary. In depends on the market condition. A ref throwing a few bad calls to help a team etch out a close victory can retire on some of the money that flows in the market. - Tallon29, on 07/20/2008, -5/+5"In NFL terms, parity means we'll never believe the NFC can produce a team capable of knocking off the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl until it happens."
Um, that just happened? - inactive, on 07/20/2008, -1/+1Well played
- heynow21, on 07/20/2008, -2/+2The NFL's lobbyists are the reason online poker is getting banned. ***** them.
- Ebue1, on 07/20/2008, -3/+3Come on guys...
Why so serious? - Barbarino, on 07/21/2008, -1/+1My Jets are currently in tied for first place..... wooohooooo
- DirtPile, on 07/21/2008, -1/+1"NFL, ***** yeah!"
- inactive, on 07/20/2008, -1/+1Uh.... steroids, gambling, arrests, etc. haven't affected the popularity of football since its incarnation, why would they now?
- ianuk11, on 12/26/2008, -0/+0cool
http://cashbingo.blogs.it/ - paulvq, on 07/21/2008, -1/+1I have never thought about that before. That is an amazing idea that will unfortunately never come true.
- gipp, on 07/21/2008, -0/+0I think that was the idea.
- teresapmayo, on 12/21/2008, -0/+0If you're into American history or sumptuous movie settings, you can't miss this city.
Tucked halfway between Savannah and Charleston is a lesser known dream town for both Civil War buffs and Hollywood movie mavens. Beaufort, South Carolina - called home by the many Marine families of Parris Island - has been an American

GTFO of my sport. NOW. - m0laria, on 07/20/2008, -4/+2Is it too soon to use Heath Ledgers face as the thumbnail for completely unrelated articles? I think so.
- blankis, on 07/20/2008, -4/+2Wait, is having an off season a parody of death?
In that case, the joke came way too soon. - inactive, on 07/20/2008, -5/+2FTA: "By insisting that its referees work on a part-time basis, the NFL prevents these on-field arbiters from having enough spare time to forge outside alliances with those who promote gambling."
Right result, wrong reason. I'm sure they have time, it's just that most of the refs seem to be upper management types. They really aren't going to risk prison time for the cash a bookie could give them... they make more than that legally at their day jobs, and they're smart enough to know Vegas is quick to spot and report "unusual betting patterns", especially in the mother of all wagering sports in the US. It's really a smart ploy by the NFL, you couldn't pick a demographic less likely to be wooed by the gamblers. Or so we hope. - forceuser, on 07/20/2008, -4/+1Why so serious?
- kmattso, on 07/20/2008, -5/+2Heath died in the off season. Very unusual.
- GRAVEWiSH, on 07/20/2008, -7/+3that hat needs to disappear......TA DA!!
- inactive, on 07/20/2008, -9/+4►Now "are you ready for some Fatball"? The show that recoils from showing "too" much, but focuses on cheerleaders bouncing boobies and shows incessant commercials about slutty twins who will do you if you drink conservative candidate Pete Coors' nasty tasting beer. I love football. The NFL seems to love money more than anything else. Ah, but that's America, isn't it.
It's a tragedy that 2 oil billionaires forced us into war by lying, changed their stories to fit the situation and as our kids die, they laugh about not finding any WMD. How thick do you have to be before you start to question this bullshiit? - Pusod, on 07/20/2008, -9/+3To the moron who posted Heath Ledgers picture to accompany this article to get more attention... "Screw you!"
- ligyron, on 07/20/2008, -11/+5RIP Heath Ledger
