- inactive, on 04/03/2009, -0/+12Can't wait for the draft! I'm really looking forward to Minnesota letting their time run out in the 1st round. That's become a staple.
- FOR3MAN, on 02/20/2009, -0/+7How may of them are praying they aren't taken number one?
- turtlegroove, on 02/18/2009, -0/+6"The Blind SIde" was a great book...I wish Michael Oher the best of luck in the pros.
- wookieninja, on 02/20/2009, -0/+3People goto the Lions to see their NFL career go down in flames. It's pretty obvious that they'll be picking a QB, I just hope it isn't Sanchez. That kid is good but he'll never grow in Detroit.
- dysfunct, on 02/20/2009, -0/+2i lol'd at "poor man's jamarcus russel."
- AeroZeppelin, on 02/20/2009, -1/+3Crabtree to Seahawks baby!
- hawksfan03, on 02/20/2009, -0/+2i can't wait until the vikings find a faster troy williamson and take him in this draft.
2004 draft: "Troy williamson is a faster nate burleson" both of them were terrible players. although had the vikings taken mike williams like everyone wanted them to they would have gotten an even worse player than stone hands troy williamson - j0hn, on 02/20/2009, -0/+1I'm crossing my fingers.
- hawksfan03, on 02/20/2009, -0/+1he will be drafted possibly in the first round, if not there in the 2nd round. is he that good? i don't think so, but there are so few good qb's in this draft everyone is going to be reaching.
- ThatsNotPudding, on 02/20/2009, -1/+2Josh Freeman has all the physical tools to be an NFL quarterback, but after watching him for three years at Kansas State, he has no passion, no burning fire to win. I bear him no ill will but that attitude (now known to all NFL scouts) will cost him the chance of being drafted.
- s4forum18, on 02/20/2009, -0/+1ramses barden?!
- ervinTE8, on 02/20/2009, -0/+1Anybody who roots for KU, Mizzou, Oklahoma, Texas, etc. knows that Josh Freeman is arguably the 6th best quarterback in the Big 12.
- gizram84, on 05/30/2009, -5/+6knowshon moreno
- hawksfan03, on 02/20/2009, -0/+1he's from cal poly, he's not going to get much love.
- drinking12many, on 02/20/2009, -0/+1Maybe for once they should actually look at quarterbacks to go with their recievers.
- coastiefish, on 03/24/2009, -0/+1I am excited about this draft, especially with Philly having two first-round selections (21st and 28th overall) and 12 picks.
- davewashere, on 02/20/2009, -0/+1As Matt Millen demonstrated year after year, the best way to build a franchise is by picking wide receivers. They are the base of any good football team.
- s4forum18, on 02/20/2009, -0/+1I know. I watched him all year, hopefully he is one of those 2nd or 3rd rounders that gets a chance.
- wookieninja, on 02/20/2009, -0/+1They'll suck, at least on the offensive side of the ball, the spread is a gimmick offense and does not prepare players for the NFL.
Big-12 is overrated and the Big-12 North is a total joke. - wookieninja, on 02/20/2009, -0/+1You guys need a new QB, Hasselbeck is shot.
- inactive, on 02/20/2009, -0/+1I wonder how spooked they will be about taking a WR in the 1st given their history with them in recent years? He clearly is a superlative player, but will they not take him just to not take a WR in the 1st?
- mrdude4290, on 02/20/2009, -1/+1knowshon....is that a cross between knowledge and Jayshon?
- WorfoSAUR, on 02/20/2009, -1/+1Dugg down for no Austin Collie.
- coryjg, on 02/20/2009, -1/+14 guys from Mizzou! I hate to see them all go, especially Maclin, but I know they'll kick ass in the NFL.
- s4forum18, on 02/20/2009, -1/+1I know. I watched him all year, hopefully he is one of those 2nd or 3rd rounders that gets a chance.
- fsufanizzle, on 02/20/2009, -1/+1Stafford is much better then Russell, how he was taken so high is beyond me. Nobody cares how far you can throw the ball from your knees....
- bigtoes, on 02/20/2009, -1/+1He reminds me of Jim Kelly .
- theremixtrack, on 02/20/2009, -1/+1Brian Orakpo to the redskins!
- pennvneff, on 02/20/2009, -2/+2Aaron Curry before Rey Maualuga and Brian Cushing? That's just retarded.
- ChicagoRob, on 02/20/2009, -0/+0Matt Stafford has an incredible arm and great awareness in the pocket. Dare I say he moves and throws better than some QBs currently starting? Seeing him go to Detroit is kind of a bummer, but I think the potential for Stafford to Calvin Johnson connections is exciting.
- Bchiz, on 02/20/2009, -0/+0I miss football already...
- nflbrandjersey, on 03/01/2009, -0/+0i love this game
- Bchiz, on 02/20/2009, -0/+0that may be so...but you can't pass on crabtree. did you see that reciever corp last year? disgusting.
- wookieninja, on 02/20/2009, -1/+1Jamarcus Russell is a bust. Stafford's better than Jamarcus but seriously overrated.
- Bchiz, on 02/20/2009, -0/+0no line to protect a top flight qb... the lions need so much help. May God have mercy on them and their families.
- AAK15, on 02/20/2009, -2/+1Lions need to have someone to build their franchise around. it's a no-brainer to go for a QB
- inactive, on 02/20/2009, -2/+1yawn
- PinkTacoDigger, on 02/20/2009, -1/+0Interesting to see if the Lions make any gains. Roy was a great receiver leaving Texas and they still stunk. That's a team that needs a complete rebuild.
- stukov, on 02/20/2009, -1/+0He is one lazy dude. I'm not surprised.
- dysfunct, on 02/20/2009, -2/+1"With the number one pick in the 2009 draft, the Detroit Lions select...
Michael Crabtree."
and one will be surprised. - hawksfan03, on 02/20/2009, -3/+1matthew stafford is a poor man's jamarcus russell. the lions will be terrible if they pick him #1. take curry or monroe and try to work it out with stanton or culpepper.
