I don't want to sound too cynical, but at the end of the day, the point of that advert was to SELL you something, and the way it does that is by playing on your emotions for the soldiers. What the hell does Budweiser have to do with Iraq?

Wouldn't a candidate want to make a funny one so that since they are going to spend all that money they would get noticed therefore more exposure. That is why I thought it would be strange because most political commercials are not humorous.
