- thegamingguy, on 11/20/2008, -0/+73First he changes a couple's tire on the side of the road after a game and now he takes a complete stranger to the movies. Tony Romo is a good egg.
(sorry about the thumbnail, Tony wasn't a choice) - d2002, on 11/20/2008, -0/+53That's the kind of superstar I'd like to be.
- AdeleMor, on 11/20/2008, -5/+56Tony Romo's good deed: keeping Jessica Simpson off reality TV!
- chrisemc, on 11/20/2008, -0/+36A far cry from Pacman Jones slapping strippers around and "making it rain."
- barroni, on 11/20/2008, -0/+32Good for him he put a smile and that dudes face for the day
- dcfan4life, on 11/20/2008, -0/+31Wow...I think he is just genuinely a nice man. He definitely has good morals and a heart of gold. I'm impressed.
- boozedrinker, on 11/20/2008, -0/+25This dude is good-natured to the core. He give me faith in humanity.
- Barackalypse, on 11/20/2008, -1/+24Frankly this isn't the type of behavior I expect from NFL players. Shouldn't he have been beating this man or brandish illegally concealed firearms at him instead?
- owls27, on 11/20/2008, -1/+23He's got 67 Million Reasons to do something like this....now taking that away, I still think Romo would do it
- Goochman, on 11/20/2008, -1/+23Dang it - Im a Redskins fan - I cant have some Cowboys QB doing good deeds like this - how will I be able to shred my Cowboys pennant during the games............
Totally awesome - we need more NFL players performing random acts of kindness vs the typical thug/dog fighting news we see. - divinediva, on 11/20/2008, -6/+25Tony Romo is a true Wisconsinite. He was raised with a good midwestern set of values. Another reason to be proud of him.
- Sonique99, on 11/20/2008, -1/+18haha wtf?
That's awesome. - JD84, on 11/20/2008, -1/+18He did, and cut a hole in the bottom of the container for a "qb sneak"
- doublefelix, on 11/20/2008, -4/+20Tony was all "Dude, smell my finger".
- Spuy767, on 11/20/2008, -1/+16I once offered a beggar at my exit from the highway a free meal on my dime and he told me that he needed cash and to go ***** myself despite him having a sign that said 'will work for food.'
- captainbethany, on 11/20/2008, -1/+13What a guy! He's too good for Jessica Simpson.
- SDawg, on 11/20/2008, -0/+11No matter what Romo did someone would find fault in it. It seems that no matter what people do to help a person we look for things they "should" have done instead of being thankful for what was done.
- carboncopy77, on 11/20/2008, -0/+11You know, paying the way to a movie for a homeless man, or changing a couples tire is something you can do anyway.. In fact it would make you a superstar to those you help.
- artfiend77, on 11/20/2008, -0/+11Hey, they both have their own way of giving back to the community. Romo takes homeless people out to movies, Pacman makes it rain on bitches.
- Noncentz, on 11/20/2008, -0/+10I award Tony Romo 14 internetz for his good deed..... Very stand up
- inactive, on 11/20/2008, -0/+10and Knowing is half the battle!
GI JOE!!!! - jgzman, on 11/20/2008, -0/+9I've always liked "Give a man fire, and he will be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he will be warm for the rest of his life."
- demondg1, on 11/20/2008, -0/+9Romo seems like a legitimately good guy.
- TotalHalibut, on 11/20/2008, -1/+10Buried for cynical douchebag.
- tawnos, on 11/20/2008, -1/+9Did he buy the guy popcorn?
- Anand999, on 11/20/2008, -0/+7Mother Teresa would throw fewer interceptions.
- TheInformer, on 11/20/2008, -0/+7No, TO brought the popcorn.
- youliveinfear, on 11/20/2008, -0/+6He also made an unplanned stop at a high school with Will Smith. Two superstars at one high school. Back when i was in school, the best celebrity we got was the local weatherman.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0U2x-rZzXX0 - roho76, on 11/20/2008, -1/+7Hopefully this kind of ***** spreads like a wild fire. It makes me feel good to help others.
- serif69, on 11/20/2008, -1/+7B... but... how am I supposed to think he's a complete douchetard if he keeps doing thing like this?
- captainbethany, on 11/20/2008, -1/+7What is wrong with you? There are so many things wrong with your comment I can't even begin to respond.
- Temo1, on 11/20/2008, -4/+10As opposed to my Northeastern sense of values, which teaches to be an evil guy, right?
- benjhaisch, on 11/20/2008, -0/+6What a stand up guy.
- 0crabby0, on 11/20/2008, -0/+6"It's nothing. I had the tire and the jack."
Bill Murray Groundhog Day
http://letmegooglethatforyou.com/?q=%22I+had+the+t ... - inactive, on 11/20/2008, -0/+5It's good to know that even in this day when our society is going straight to hell, there are still good people that care about others.
- no2gates, on 11/20/2008, -0/+5
I just shows that money doesn't have to change a person. I really think Tony has a good grasp of the real world, unlike almost all other celebrities. - kingjaydub, on 11/20/2008, -0/+5It's good to see that lots of money doesn't spoil everyone.
I've got lots of respect for anyone like Tony Romo who doesn't let himself feel like he's above others, because he makes more money. - Temo1, on 11/20/2008, -0/+5Buried because Romo is half mexican.
- mgill3, on 11/20/2008, -0/+5Good people come from 'sconsin.
- illDecree, on 11/20/2008, -0/+5" we need more NFL players performing random acts of kindness "
we need more everyday people to do this too - hawksfan03, on 11/20/2008, -0/+5i can't say i particularly like romo on the football field but he seems like a genuine stand up guy with great morals. Good work Tony
- xIrish, on 11/20/2008, -0/+5Wasn't Jeffrey Dahmer a Wisconsinite?
- Ghstfce, on 11/20/2008, -1/+6I'm a Redskins fan as well. Makes me not mind it as much anymore that we lost to the 'Boys this week. I'm the type of person that was raised to hold open doors for others, allow ladies to enter a building before yourself. Older women seem to notice it and take warmly to it. Younger women tend to look at me strange. Go figure. /sigh
- sindex, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4When I was in high school the Principal cancelled an Indigo Girls appearance because they're gay. Not that I really gave a damn about the 30 minute show, but I couldn't believe they'd be so obviously homophobic. Oh well... welcome to South Carolina.
They ended up putting on a concert downtown for free instead. Pretty classy. - inactive, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4tony romo and the dallas cowboys own.
- Sh0rtstak, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4phono
- mrshickadance9, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4I always thought he was supposed to be a douchebag. apparently i was totally wrong. classy guy.
- mattdiggsit, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4Not often you hear about the good things that the Cowboys do...
- crackedlogic, on 11/20/2008, -1/+5There's a guy who DESERVES 67 million dollars.
- mamboboy, on 11/20/2008, -3/+7Change? Change? Got any change?!
