- tmacfan123, on 11/17/2008, -2/+26i don't think the Titans WANT to be the 07 patriots considering how they ended up...
- obliviousfool, on 11/17/2008, -1/+16You've seen the Lions play, right?
- inactive, on 11/17/2008, -3/+14Will they be mentioned along side the Dolphins and the Patriots when the regular season is over?
- inactive, on 11/17/2008, -2/+11Amazing, they don't play amazing like the patriots last year, but they get the job done,
- yourgiftsfree, on 11/17/2008, -1/+7Im still pissed with the Eagles. A tie?
Yep, thats Philly. - rz8472, on 11/17/2008, -0/+6I'm impressed at the fact that Kerry Collins (and Randy Moss for that matter) was able to pick himself up after playing for the Raiders. They don't call their end zone "The Black Hole" for nothing.
- munjalm, on 11/17/2008, -3/+9Wow... new playoff structure where the Giants can play the Titans?
- gizram84, on 05/30/2009, -0/+5@FormulaVette
"until they get to the playoffs and the Giants hand them a [loss]"
The superbowl was not part of the original point.... - jun2san, on 11/17/2008, -0/+5Being a Jags fan that game really pissed me off. Way to ***** things up in the second half Jags!
- jpowell378, on 11/17/2008, -0/+5If you can't spell Tennessee then just call them the Titans.
- Xsecrets, on 11/17/2008, -0/+5because so far all anyone can say is they've had an easy schedule they haven't really played anyone, etc
No one ever gives the titans any credit unless they make it to the superbowl, and and they barely gave them any credit when they did. - theragu40, on 11/17/2008, -0/+4"Play" is sort of a relative term when it comes to the Lions.
- pennvneff, on 11/17/2008, -3/+7Nice to see the Titans recover from drafting that bust Vince Young.
- billmill, on 11/17/2008, -9/+12Not the 07 Patriots? That's for sure, the Titans haven't been busted videotaping other teams plays.
- yode24, on 11/17/2008, -0/+3against the bengals of course
- cado100, on 11/17/2008, -0/+3No doubt. They went back to their old selves the second half.
- Bravesguy18, on 11/17/2008, -0/+2I think being a fan of small-market (and usually awful) teams makes you a real fans. They weather the last place finishes and pray for next year. It's people like you that keep Tennessee off MNF and allow SportsCenter to show all of 2 highlights from the Titans' 13th straight win to save time so they can show every play of the snooze-fest that was the Cowboy's game last night. I had to check if I still had a pulse halfway through that game. Tennessee, Arizona, and Carolina all fall into this small-market BS that doesn't fit with pro football. That stuff belongs in college where your team name carries you have the distance... cough cough UT.
- inactive, on 11/17/2008, -3/+5I wonder if the Lions can win against them on Thanksgiving day. Madden brings the turkey, lions better bring their A-game.
- Tollboi, on 11/17/2008, -0/+2I don't think you can blame the Jags. The Titans have always been late game players. Look at every game this season, their best football is at the end of the game that is just how they do it. Nothing fancy, just tough D and sensible changes to offense accordingly (they adjust there offense at half time every game).
- CedarPark, on 11/19/2008, -0/+2I hear this same argument with the Spurs. "They're a small market team so who cares?"
If you wanted the most popular to win each season maybe you should stick to watching "professional" wrestling. - Bravesguy18, on 11/17/2008, -0/+2Olbermann said last night, "Carolina had the night off. They were hosting Detroit." It was funny, but he said that during the highlight where Carolina regained the lead.
- ntulip, on 11/17/2008, -0/+2So essentially what you are saying is that there should only be about 5 teams playing in the NFL? And everyone has to be a fan of these 5 teams. How the hell do you think these 5 teams got their start?
When an unknown team can make ***** happen year over year, people will notice and their fan base will grow. - ntulip, on 11/17/2008, -1/+2Titans beat "declawed" Jaguars, improve to 10-0. It was nice to be 11 points ahead and then spend a whole half staring at the moon. WTF? Then again, cats are easily distracted.
Damn the titans. Definitely a good record 10-0, and I hope it won't last. - georgemason01, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1Right, it's not college football where the victory margin matters. There have been many good teams who didn't do that in the past. They were also caught stealing signs in the first game of the season. Then in the Super Bowl, Belichick wasn't man enough to let the clock run down and ran off the field with a second still left on the game clock. How do people forget this ***** after less than a year? This was one of the most unsportsmanlike teams in NFL history and they got what they deserved; a shattered perfect season in the final game.
- Ro4ddog, on 11/18/2008, -0/+1Oh boo hoo. I talked bad about somebody. I spent a year in rehab for my own problems, so you can suck a bad of dicks. Kerry Collins is a washed up has been who won't be able to sustain this level of activity through the postseason. If he hadn't wasted his better years banging chicks and slamming fifths he would have a super bowl ring of his own already.
- gizram84, on 05/30/2009, -2/+3the Jets will have to put them in their place next week
- baajes, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1i was thinking the exact same thing
- apastafarian, on 11/17/2008, -1/+2I'm a life long Giant fan, a 16 year season ticket holder and you're a jerk. Collins was one of the best QB's we ever had, certainly in the top 5. He may well have "blown" the super bowl, but I remember a couple of BIG playoff games that e didn't. We didn't "get rid of him", he left because he didn't want to be a mentor/back up to Eli. His recent performance shows he still has plenty left in the tank, he may not be great, but he's plenty good. We're a better team for having Eli, the Titans are a better team for having Collins. Almost nothing would make me happier than to face a unbeaten Tians in the super bowl, so we can do to Kerry what the Ravens did in 2000, but that's a long way off and unlikely to happen. Collins alcohol problems are so far down the road that mentioning them is embarrassing...to you! You're probably one of those pathetic ass wipes that boo whenever Tiki's name is mentioned, arguably the greatest offensive player to ever wear a Giant uniform. Why not just become a bandwagon jumping Cowboy fan (no offense to real Cowboy fans from Texas), you'll fit right in!
- pooter654, on 11/17/2008, -10/+11the titans are not the 07 Patriots, and they will not go undefeated.
- Bravesguy18, on 11/17/2008, -0/+1Yeah, 1999 is so last century.
- dysfunct, on 11/17/2008, -2/+2Seriously? Running up the score? It's professional goddamn football. They were better and got more points, that's it. I don't get the animosity towards the '07 Pats - they were awesome.
- sandersdamnit, on 11/17/2008, -2/+2Favre is gonna throw about 4 INTs
- apastafarian, on 11/19/2008, -1/+1He's a NFL QB wasting away on multi-million dollar contracts, what have you done lately?. Maybe you needed a few more months in rehab? I don't know what a "bad of dicks" are, but you certainly confirmed my jerk theory. I hear Cowboy jerseys are going cheap these days, you'll fit right in.
- toomanybeerz, on 11/17/2008, -1/+1Did anyone else see Kerry and Vince shouting at each other on the sideline?
- toomanybeerz, on 11/17/2008, -1/+1haha...i love digg
- kandlem7, on 11/18/2008, -1/+0I just saw this fight and found a great article with video summary at http://bloggerline.info/sports/nfl/vid2-titans-bea ...
- gizram84, on 05/30/2009, -2/+1if they go undefeated, they will... why?
- lilmentor3, on 11/17/2008, -4/+2why is it such a good thing to be the '07 Patriots? um... do you remember what happened in the Super Bowl? ok...
- FormulaVette, on 11/17/2008, -6/+4Its a new thing called the Superbowl.
- georgemason01, on 11/17/2008, -5/+3They don't cheat or run up the score on opponents either. It'd be nice to see them steal the Patriots thunder a year after their Super Bowl collapse.
- swik, on 11/17/2008, -10/+3Can't imagine the Titans make it to the Superbowl.
- Ro4ddog, on 11/17/2008, -13/+3The Titans are likely going to remain undefeated until they get to the playoffs and the Giants hand them a huge serving of pain and L.
Remember, we HAD Kerry Collins and got rid of him because he's an old washed-up drunk. As soon as his 'roids regimen wears out and his arthritis kicks in again, he'll go back to the bottle and do what comes naturally to him; Namely, blowing big games.

What is Digg?
