- whatthefu, on 01/26/2009, -4/+48Dugg for Terry Tate.
- fenderjazz, on 01/26/2009, -4/+35I never really understood why the Apple ad always gets such high ratings. It's really not THAT good, especially when compared to the likes of Terry Tate.
Go ahead, Apple fanboys. Digg me down. - inactive, on 01/26/2009, -9/+37Mactards will digg this down for apple not being #1
- azureskies88, on 01/26/2009, -0/+21Master Locks: Effective against .30 caliber rifles; still ineffective against bolt cutters.
- nmezib, on 01/26/2009, -0/+15lol
you know, for every one person reading this on a mac, there are at least 5 people doing the same on the PC.
and .00005 on WebTV. It's the Web! On your TV! - newdigger, on 01/26/2009, -0/+11"While the Macintosh is likely gone for good, Dolphin shorts have made a comeback. "
Um, wat? - Ninnux, on 01/26/2009, -4/+14Dugg for Mean Joe Greene... points to something else while wiping tear out of eye.
/Go Steelers! - asgardshill, on 01/26/2009, -0/+10Sorry, but I didn't need any list to remember EDS' "Cat Herders" commercial. Better IMO than even the canonized "1984" Apple spot.
- azureskies88, on 01/26/2009, -0/+7Yeah, sod off NBC, we don't need your truths here.
- klij, on 01/26/2009, -0/+7So, apple is a hooters waitress with a sledgehammer. i like it!
- amandaw33, on 01/26/2009, -0/+6I'm glad in a way they didn't over do it - but wish they'd bring him back.
- goreyend, on 01/26/2009, -1/+7#8 & #7 are horrible, but the Terry Tate is so great that it makes up for those two
- TheMishap, on 01/26/2009, -0/+6by far the best on the list.
- azureskies88, on 01/26/2009, -0/+5Yes, the coercive oppression of Coke, the behemoth corportation that routinely infringes upon my rights and others' by providing us with delicious cola.
- TheChunt, on 01/26/2009, -1/+6Dugg for burning up 30 mins of my morning without me even realizing it.
- Sigma2001, on 01/26/2009, -0/+4What about the the WHAAAASSSUPPPPP commercials? Granted there are ***** every so often that think it's still cool to do this... At the time though they were funny and spawned many follow up commercials...Funnier than the frogs IMO.
- Scrappy1850, on 01/26/2009, -1/+5dugg just to counteract anti-capitalistic hippie libtard. do you own any of these products? hypocrit. these companies employee all your friends and neighbors.
- fugularity, on 01/26/2009, -1/+5I agree with you, it's pretty derivative.
- wolfing, on 01/26/2009, -0/+4Except that I don't remember Apple's, but I do remember the Bud.... Weis... Errr frogs :)
- DangerCollie, on 01/26/2009, -0/+4One of my all time favorites only aired a couple times. The FedEx commercial with an alien in a really bad human costume. It's got a cardboard face and a voicebox that will only say, "Let's go with FedEx!" Two of the alien's co-workers come into the office, "We know you're an alien!" "Let's go with FedEx!"
Did the Outpost.com gerbil cannon air during the Superbowl? I can't remember. Where they're shooting gerbils at the O in Outpost.com. Funny as hell.
And the e*Trade we just blew 2 million bucks, what are you doing with your money? - rondorondorondo, on 01/26/2009, -0/+4Triple T had a bunch of great one liners to go with his dishing of the pain.
"You know Triple T is going to condense the nonsense" - inactive, on 01/26/2009, -1/+5They got the eTrade ones wrong. The funniest by far were the ones with the monkey in them.

The one the year after was good too, and very relevant. - azureskies88, on 01/26/2009, -1/+5It's a lame commercial, but it's memorable. We all are familiar with it, even twenty-five years down the line.
- Protuhj, on 01/26/2009, -0/+3The pain train is comin' baby....WOOOOOOOO!
- cmoney298, on 01/26/2009, -1/+4Terry Tate should so be number 1. Tackeling people in the office, that what every office needs to keep those cover letters on the TPS reports, to hell with the memo.
- nmezib, on 01/26/2009, -8/+11Hey kid, catch!
ahh classic.
oh, and Go Stillers. - primaldefense, on 01/26/2009, -0/+3The Snickers "Not Going Anywhere for a While" commercials have been great as well for football. I think they had one during the Super Bowl as well. My fav of the bunch has to be "that's great but who are the Chefs"?.
- diggan8, on 01/26/2009, -0/+3Saying it incorrectly is excusable. Spelling in incorrectly, will only lead to people pointing fingers at you... and laughing.
Go Panthurs! - gr8spAcstr, on 01/26/2009, -0/+3Most of the time I laugh but right after have NO idea what the ad was for. Growing up the same ads were around for years and thus became ingrained, ancient chinese secret, calgon take me away, good to the last drop...
- JustinCase18, on 01/26/2009, -0/+2I forgot the commercial until Hillary Clinton reminded me.
The book...was much better. - JustinCase18, on 01/26/2009, -0/+2Where's "Go Daddy"?
This is half sarcasm, but it was good to post the censors in the eye after the Janet Jackson fiasco. - kmattso, on 01/26/2009, -1/+3"When it's game time, it's pain time....woooo!"
- scoffey, on 01/26/2009, -0/+2and i must be typing this on a different iMac, where mac isn't derived from/short for "macintosh"
also, go cards - dagnabbit, on 01/26/2009, -1/+3I wonder if Miller High Life's 1 second commercial this year will make the list someday...
- roxgod666, on 01/26/2009, -0/+2Is that a good thing to you?
- fugularity, on 01/26/2009, -0/+2They should do about 30 of those Coors Light press conference/mashup/etc commercials in a row.
- emptyo, on 01/26/2009, -3/+5Wait...the Macintosh is gone for good? Really? I must be typing this on a different Macbook Pro.
Go Steelers! - bmorrow, on 01/26/2009, -0/+2Right, because Apple invented the GUI. Or maybe they only think they did.
- willisan, on 01/26/2009, -0/+2fanboi
- PanicButton42, on 01/27/2009, -0/+2"Great googley-moogley"
- f3n1x, on 01/27/2009, -0/+2I dont have a mac and I dont even want one - unless for free.
But I have to admit that the 1984 commercial is the best one on this list and in fact one of the best commercials ever made. - diggan8, on 01/26/2009, -2/+4Stillers?
Seriously? - bytor4232, on 01/26/2009, -0/+2Dugg for accuracy of 1,2, and 3 respectively. Terry Tate Office Linebacker is my favorite commercial of all times, but you have to give it up for Mean Joe Green. Most iconic commercial of all time. And I love them budweiser horses. Can't wait to see what they do this year.
- Scrappy1850, on 01/26/2009, -0/+2dude, i buy jones. its at like every grocery store i go to. they are doing fine.
- SgtQuackers, on 01/26/2009, -1/+3The majority were good commercials but how in the Coke Parade Balloons ad even on the list. That commercial was horrible.
- Jakeman21co, on 01/26/2009, -0/+2"this ain't your home, so get off the speaker phone!!"
- gamelab, on 01/26/2009, -0/+2I love the LOLcats commercial. But the best I think is the FedEx commercial.
- Petronious, on 01/26/2009, -0/+2http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U70oaQR6tKE
- primaldefense, on 01/28/2009, -0/+1lol yeah that was a great end to a great commercial.
- anillop, on 01/26/2009, -0/+1Truth hurts doesn't it.
