- inactive, on 09/09/2009, -0/+18He got to where he is today by being a complete and utter moron. Jones had more talent than many NFL players can ever dream about, but he blew it by being immature and stupid. Forget second chances, he was given three or four chances to salvage his career and he still managed to waste them all. I have no sympathy for him.
- dank123, on 09/09/2009, -0/+13As someone who attended WVU with Adam, I can tell you he is lucky he isn't serving 10 years in jail for almost killing a man with a billiards cue stick in a barfight. He's a thug...and he's been given several chances to redeem himself... somehow, he manages to make the news every 4 months by doing something stupid over and over again...
- Pinkertinkle, on 09/09/2009, -1/+12So basically he's a thug and a criminal.
- LocalDocal, on 09/09/2009, -0/+9I have to question if anyone can sympathize with such a man.
He had the talent and the opportunities that most dreamed of and it could have very, very easily led him to having a life of fame and fortune. The only thing that was require of him was to simply act like a civilized human being and, apparently, he couldn't give it up being a thug. Not even for the prospect of millions of dollars.
Some people just deserve their lot in life. - inactive, on 09/09/2009, -2/+11My plan to keep this brother down worked like a charm. Didn't even put up a fight.
- the man - gankige, on 09/09/2009, -2/+7What a shame, he could have had a great run in the NFL.
- NecroSexy, on 09/09/2009, -0/+4I've seen bread rise higher.
- kevro, on 09/09/2009, -0/+4EA Sports, I want to see a CFL game!
- Ajajadude, on 09/09/2009, -0/+4I doubt even the Patriots would take this guy on, and they've picked up a few characters in the past several years.
He's not a TO where if you keep him happy, he won't blow up the clubhouse. This guy just goes out in public and acts like a thug. He's had his chances, I hope he never makes it back. - RoroCo, on 09/09/2009, -1/+4Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys.
'Cos they'll never stay home and they're always at the club.
Even when making it rain for love. - the42nddegree, on 09/09/2009, -0/+3It all went downhill when someone offered him a power pellet
- sgerwel1985, on 09/09/2009, -0/+3While i agree this man shouldn't be able to play in the NFL again. However, because of this CFL cut i could see him creeping back into the league in the earlier half of the season. Say a super bowl team like the Patriots are having secondary problems early on i could see them making a move... Teams with aging defenses will definitely ponder bringing this guy in if they are having problems.
I am not advocating he should, but just saying how the NFL works... - cyoder, on 09/09/2009, -0/+2I still remember the day he was drafted, when ESPN cut to the camera at his home. He was surrounded by friends and family (as players normally are), but he was decked out in expensive clothes and a ton of bling (including his big Pac-Man medallion), and at that point I thought to myself, this guy is an ego-maniac. A lot of college and pro athletes are, but Adam Jones certainly dressed the part.
His first couple years in the league were largely uneventful (legally), and I remember seeing him making strides on the field and my perspective of him was changing. Then he started getting into a lot of trouble off the field, and by then it was evident he still had a lot of growing up to do. Kind of a sad deal, a lot of talent wasted. - Jeepinator, on 09/09/2009, -0/+2Why is this even an article. There is no confusion as to what happened. He is a ***** idiot.
- jbat24, on 09/09/2009, -0/+2pacman jones is just an idiot, plain and simple.
- brandonb, on 09/09/2009, -1/+3Remember now, he did try to become a wrestler.

- TheCrazyAsian, on 09/09/2009, -0/+1more like the rise, then fall, then kinda rise, then further fall, (repeat as much as necessary)
- SarcoBlaster, on 09/09/2009, -0/+1Whatever. Just another douchebag thug.
- BigTuna, on 09/09/2009, -0/+1By "keepin' it real, dawg".
It's what happens when attempting to live like a stereotypical "street" n-word.
Such a waste... - papashawn, on 09/09/2009, -1/+2nah lets talk about how amog.com went from being an ugly piece of ***** website to being an ugly piece of ***** website.
- joejitsu, on 09/09/2009, -0/+1I also knew him from WVU, not well, but had been to several parties with him. My impression of him was that he was a very stupid individual. He could never drop his thug mentality. BTW, Dr. Johns was a great bar.
- moondog604, on 09/09/2009, -0/+1I was actually thinking the entire time I was reading...what's the big deal he would be welcomed in the pro wrestling industry....then I read he already had been.
- inactive, on 09/09/2009, -0/+1Your summary was longer than shootermcavns comment
- Sefus, on 09/09/2009, -1/+1He's a ***** idiot. So is Micheal Vick. Why do we let idiots make so much money? Have you seen Idiocracy?
- Bisclavret, on 09/09/2009, -1/+1stfu
- Truedirt, on 09/09/2009, -1/+1Typical Digg pack mentallity reaction. Take a deep breath and stop the atonement.
- thectrain, on 09/09/2009, -1/+1No. The only good thing about the CFL is the rivalries between cities. They will make the CFL game after they make a WNBA game.
I'm Canadian, I like watching my CFL team win. I like going to games and getting drunk. But NFL is better football. - sprigjr, on 09/09/2009, -1/+0so funny thing, i used to play a lot of gangster poker games around atlanta. One day at a game someone told me thats pacman over there, not really into sports had to google him when i got home.
- hexx54, on 09/09/2009, -8/+5you know you're scrub when the CFL won't look at you. And the CFL really sucks.
