- BaddBrainz, on 09/21/2009, -10/+50They also have a NY Giants problem :)
- cptcliche, on 09/21/2009, -2/+41Is anyone else getting annoyed with how Twitter seems to be dominating the news now? Why are there breaks on ESPN just because some coach or athlete 'tweeted?' I find it very aggravating.
- mnpilot, on 09/21/2009, -8/+36Funny, The Bills will probably develop a TO problem at years end as well....and Take Out will be shopping for a new team to destroy.
What a *****. - RobertWright, on 09/21/2009, -8/+34I agree with T.O. for the first time!
- gianttoolbox11, on 09/21/2009, -11/+34T.O. is the Kanye West of the NFL.
- FOR3MAN, on 09/21/2009, -2/+21I commend him for not going for the easy ***** reference.
- vondrak, on 09/21/2009, -1/+17He's totally classless. I remember when he was crying at a postgame press conference while defending Romo.
- roxgod666, on 09/21/2009, -1/+11He did for the 49ers and Eagles.
- Hodor, on 09/21/2009, -2/+11They can't blame Jessica Simpson, anyway.
- jspegele, on 09/21/2009, -0/+9First thing I thought of. "That's my quarterback, man. That's my quarterback."
- starscream45, on 09/21/2009, -0/+7Because they are twits.
- roxgod666, on 09/21/2009, -0/+7I agree, Jeff Garcia was a great quarterback. He took a failed season for the Eagles and made a good playoff run. He played better with our offense than McNabb, and only had a couple games to get used to it.
- madbeats24, on 09/21/2009, -1/+8YO T.O., IM HAPPY FOR YA, N IMMA LET YOU FINISH, BUT KANYE WEST IS THE BIGGEST DOUCHE OF ALL TIME!
...oh wait - cstathis15, on 09/21/2009, -0/+7Network television appeals to the lowest common denominator, which in this case is people who like to watch burly men yell at each other.
- cuervoman914, on 09/22/2009, -1/+6a win is a win. they got to the 25 yard line with little time to go on the 4th quarter to score a FG which the cowboys were trying to botch. they failed. giants won. end of story.
- hater2win, on 09/21/2009, -2/+7lol. What game were you watching? The Cowboys dominated both sides of the ball and the only reason they lost is turnovers. You can't give up the ball 4 times and win. The Giants didn't outplay them, they caught some lucky breaks and capitalized on 2 bad throws. Other than that, the Cowboys dominated the game and lost because of the 3 INT and a fumble.
- Wreckage, on 09/21/2009, -3/+8Anyone else remember the press conference where T.O. started crying (yes literally crying), when they asked him about Romo a few seasons ago? Something about not attacking "his" Quarterback.
EDIT: Found it!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwEihRd7fKA - jsep, on 09/21/2009, -2/+7It's only a re-tweet ...
- SpruceCaboose, on 09/21/2009, -1/+6And yet Jeff Garcia managed to go on a huge run with the Eagles. Me thinks it was not Jeff Garcia that made the 49ers suck...
And yes, TO is a detriment to teams. You don't cause off the field drama every team you play for and improve that team. He is a great player, but he really needs to shut the hell up, do his job on the field, and work to foster a team mentality and not a TO first mentality. - assgrenade, on 09/21/2009, -1/+5Romo sucks
- bobburn1, on 09/21/2009, -0/+4Both teams played piss poorly defensively and Dallas had one problem on office: Romo kept turning the ball over and couldn't pass for the life of him.
- weddle, on 09/21/2009, -2/+6Terrell Owens has a Terrell Owens problem.
- villainousT, on 09/21/2009, -4/+8I'm not sure if you were watching the same game as everyone else. The cowboys dominated when they weren't turning over the ball repeatedly. Take away those easy points on turnovers deep in own territory and would have been a blow out. We definitely have a Tony Romo problem. They should have canned him and Phillips two years ago.
- DubYaSee, on 09/22/2009, -0/+3I liked it when, shortly after the Giants scored first, the camera went to Jerry Jones in his luxury suite and the nouveau riche doofus was picking his nose.
- hivoltage815, on 09/22/2009, -0/+3I'm really happy for your comment, and Imma let you finish, but Joe Namath was the most like Kanye West of all time...of all time!
- FearlessFreep, on 09/21/2009, -0/+3When in the history of human kind has sports ever not been a drama show?
- catfish182, on 09/21/2009, -0/+3i say the same things when i watch my browns play. Its ok. there is help but you have to admit it first.
- lhughey, on 09/21/2009, -0/+3Not yet
- reddcell, on 09/21/2009, -0/+3he didn't coordinate the defense too well last night. Even with Romo giving the Giants 3 touchdowns, the defense could have made that game a win.
- starscream45, on 09/21/2009, -0/+3What game were you watching? 33 pts. is not dominating on the defensive side of the ball. The Cowboy D gave me -1 pts. in my fantasy football team. Explain to me how Dallas allowing 3 TDs and 5 FGs is dominating on the defense.
4 turnovers is hardly dominating either on offense. The offense did look good, but not dominating. - gianttoolbox11, on 09/21/2009, -0/+3That's what the Russians thought too...
- SnapETom, on 09/21/2009, -0/+2Who the ***** do you think threw those 3 ints? Wade Phillips?
- immatellyouwhat, on 09/21/2009, -1/+3NICE!
- undercoverDrunk, on 09/21/2009, -1/+3Dallas has too much talent to suck. There's better coaching playing a 12yr old at Madden10.
Wade couldn't motivate a ***** sandwich to stink. - skipdog172, on 09/21/2009, -1/+3YEAH OMG CUZ NO RECEIVERS MISS CATCHES! lol
- SteveMTyler, on 09/21/2009, -0/+2you know the NFL is an entertainment show, all the players are entertainers.
- rohcky, on 09/21/2009, -1/+3Did you see how the Patriots played against the Jets last night?
- hivoltage815, on 09/22/2009, -0/+2Because the vanity of celebrities and Twitter go hand-in-hand. An opportunity to distribute a controversial statement or photo to thousands, if not millions, is a catalyst for this kind of behavior. Celebrities can complain about things like privacy and the paparazzi, but most of the time they eat that ***** up.
- SpruceCaboose, on 09/21/2009, -0/+2Hey now, don't be one of those McNabb haters. Dawkins, McNabb, and Westbrook are (were, damn Dawkins leaving) the main reasons the Eagles have had a solid decade of good seasons. Garcia did his part and filled in beautifully, but McNabb has always been a solid QB who gives the Eagles chances to play big.
That said, I am all for Garcia starting in place of Kolb if McNabb is still out next week. - SteveMTyler, on 09/21/2009, -1/+3I bet GE or someone has a stake in twitter and demands that it get mentioned X times per day.
- FearlessFreep, on 09/21/2009, -3/+4Arguably they could say "TO says.." or "To remarked..." or whatever. The fact that twitter was the medium seems a little fadish
- NFLClassifieds, on 10/08/2009, -0/+1T.O. was right all along. That's why they had to get rid of him. That's why Tony, Jason, Jerry, and Wade, all plotted against him as they didn't want their Dirty Laundry aired before the world. And Tony Romo "IS" the dirty laundry! I'm sorry, but, Tony has said too many times that he Does Not Care what the fans think. And if he doesn't care about us, why should we care about him? Except of course, that he is a Disgrace to the Cowboys.
- RodRanger, on 09/22/2009, -0/+1sure dallas and romo licked the giants hairy nuts but at this pace T.O. is gonna die a lonely man
- FOR3MAN, on 09/21/2009, -0/+1Not to be anal, but ESPN is not really a network station. Network originally referenced the network of independent station that aired packaged news and prime time.
OK that was pretty anal. - inactive, on 09/21/2009, -0/+1Yeah never understood why people mock WWE for being "Sports Entertainment" when that is exactly what "professional" leagues are.
- bigbenc, on 09/21/2009, -1/+2Did you see how the bills played against the patriots on monday night last week? I think if they can keep up with them like that, the giants won't be much harder.
- skipdog172, on 09/21/2009, -0/+1Sports players have always been making statements and comments. Nothing has changed.
- , on 09/21/2009, -0/+1Oh how I wish there were a way to automatically bury any and every article with the word "tweet" in it.
- eqisow, on 09/21/2009, -0/+1Check out the NFL network. Much less *****, much more game/player/team analysis.
(still some *****, though) -
