- darthbutcher, on 07/04/2009, -19/+434Dear Mr. Grim Reaper,
Please ***** off and die.
Sincerely,
The Living - ykball, on 07/04/2009, -4/+318He contributed to one hell of a superbowl in 2000. RIP Air McNair

- gianttoolbox11, on 07/04/2009, -1/+159In a league filled with giant egotistical douchebags, you were one of the few genuine good guys. RIP Steve.
- imag, on 07/04/2009, -3/+156RIP McNair, always a class act.
- tigerthekid, on 07/04/2009, -4/+135I live in Nashville and have met Steve a couple times. He was a stand-up guy. All of Nashville with miss you.
- palpacino, on 07/04/2009, -2/+128Steve Mcnair is the toughest QB to play in the league in recent memory.
To hell with whoever pulled that trigger on him. - 818Rob, on 07/04/2009, -5/+111You don't have to be old to die of a gunshot wound to the head.
- xDynaBlade, on 07/04/2009, -2/+97He's already dead, though.
- inactive, on 07/04/2009, -3/+84Most people who are below 40 are immune to bullets to the face, I really am just as confused.
- Tooley7, on 07/04/2009, -0/+75I worked at a Ben & Jerry's just south of Nashville a few years ago. One busy day, Steve came in and gave me a $20 tip for scooping his ice cream. It was much appreciated.
- reiggin, on 07/04/2009, -8/+64Does NO ONE even remember David Carradine?!? Every time another celeb dies it's, "Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcet, Michael Jackson, Billy Mays, etc., etc., etc." and never do they mention Carradine. Granted, he didn't die in the most honorable of circumstances but he was still a pretty damn cool dude and one hell of a bad ass in Kill Bill and not too shabby in Kung Fu. Sad that he's so quickly forgotten...
- ELG83, on 07/04/2009, -2/+53R.I.P. the man was a great player, he shall be missed
- skunkman62, on 07/04/2009, -2/+52a friend of mine worked at a pool hall and steve would drop by to play a game. he would buy a coke, pay for it with a $100 bill and tell the server to keep the change. r.i.p. steve
- inactive, on 07/04/2009, -7/+56Only 36...
What the hell is going on? - riggaman, on 07/04/2009, -6/+42Guys I've figured it out! Steve played in Superbowl 34. Now the Titans used to played in Houston, Texas which is oddly enough a couple of hours away from, you guessed it, Corpus Christi! (Farrah Fawcett you slow hoe) Now check this *****, during the halftime show guess who was doing the narration? BAM! Edward James Olmos...the hispanic Ed Mcmahon if you will. So the Titans lost by 7 points, and guess who just so happened to die 7 days ago, BILLY EFFIN' MAYS. Finally to put the kabash on this entire death orgy, Disney produced the halftime show, the company responsible for the 1953 film Peter Pan, Neverland Ranch anyone? If I were Tina Tuner I wouldn't be leaving my house anytime soon, bitch did the pregame show.
- KillerBears, on 07/04/2009, -1/+35@redfred18t
their loss - thaprinze, on 07/04/2009, -6/+39WTF??!! Someone (or something) is hunting down our stars one by one!
RIP McNair. - FearlessFreep, on 07/04/2009, -1/+34A coke
- MedicSean37, on 07/04/2009, -5/+36Wow, I just met McNair about a month ago in Nashville at a bar. This celebrity death circus is nuts.
- ProtocolDroid, on 07/04/2009, -3/+28@sgfreak784
David Carradine wasn't given any slack. - AskAboutMe, on 07/04/2009, -3/+27Yet another wake up call. Enjoy life guys... it's too damn short.
- BassMastr, on 07/04/2009, -1/+25Should have won the Heisman too...Air McNair...RIP...thanks for entertaining us.
- jmo666, on 07/04/2009, -1/+25This is just terrible news. McNair was a true professional, a great player, and set the example of "giving yourself for your team". If more players were like he was, the NFL was be an amazing league. Thanks for the memories...
- Donotsurf, on 07/04/2009, -3/+26*adds darthbutcher to list* /Reaper
- mouseshoes, on 07/04/2009, -0/+23Always liked him, seemed like a nice guy. Played tough in every game down to the last second, real "never over till its over" attitude.
RIP - inactive, on 07/05/2009, -2/+25Dear Living,
Bring it anytime, bitches.
Sincerely,
The Grim Reaper - techandblues, on 07/04/2009, -0/+20he was a solid pro, we hated playing against him in Baltimore, and loved having him on our side. Condolences to his family and friends.
- Favreism, on 07/04/2009, -1/+21Terrible news. In a league full of shady characters and miscreants, Steve was a class act. He will be missed.
- hawksfan03, on 07/04/2009, -4/+24this will probably blow your mind but once an athlete retires he doesn't have to quit being a part of the team
- PatrickBrown, on 07/04/2009, -6/+26Of course deaths come in 3s. Just wait for another death, then NUM % 3 and repeat!
Amazingly, counting to infinity comes in threes too. - felman87, on 07/04/2009, -2/+22It's Deathnote!! Why doesn't anyone believe me?!?!?!
- redfan, on 07/04/2009, -0/+20Ugh, so sad to hear. He was an exciting player to watch, especially when he was with Tennessee.
- Sangreal2007, on 07/05/2009, -1/+19Dear Old Reaper Dude,
We challenge you to a game of battleship.
Sincerely,
Ted Theodore Logan & Bill S. Preston Esq. - PeanutCheeseBar, on 07/04/2009, -4/+22Phil Hartman'd.
RIP Steve McNair. - rusty_g, on 07/04/2009, -1/+19watching the news, i didn't realize that he owned a restaurant, but sounds like he had his hand in great community involment. RIP mac
- burRIDERton, on 07/04/2009, -8/+26It's because your comment blows the big one. It's under the same category as the people who write 'LOL!!!!', "OMG!!!", "WTF??" A pointless comment that people write when they have nothing else to say.
- Bluehammer, on 07/04/2009, -0/+17RIP Steve, you will be missed.
- Nate2020, on 07/04/2009, -0/+16Such a fun QB to watch.
RIP Steve "Air" McNair. - macmcraeart, on 07/04/2009, -4/+20Yeah - it's called mortality. And sooner or later it is coming to get you too.
- MrCheerios, on 07/04/2009, -2/+18What the hell? I never heard about him getting in any sort of trouble, always seemed like a true professional. Can't imagine why anyone would want to kill him. Robbery gone wrong?
- LiquidIse, on 07/05/2009, -1/+16That explains why all my apples keep disappearing
- devobergso, on 07/04/2009, -1/+16they were originally saying that it may have been his wife, but now that has been retracted and they are not sure
- MAXAMOUS, on 07/04/2009, -3/+18OH SNAP!
- sartorious, on 07/04/2009, -1/+15Yeah, just shut the ***** up, Donny.
- fracaso089, on 07/04/2009, -2/+15i lived in baltimore and now in nashville, so i cheered for him on both teams. great underrated qb, RIP
- bwinebarger, on 07/05/2009, -3/+16The best superbowl ever in my opinion.

- Fixhotep, on 07/05/2009, -5/+17Toughest? I dunno. I'm not a fan of Favre, but his ass never missed games no matter how injured he was.
