Packers Turn $20 Million Profit Despite Bad Season, Economy

sports.espn.go.com — The Green Bay Packers haven't been sacked by the recession despite a rough season on the field and significant financial challenges off it, but officials remain wary of the future. The NFL's only publicly owned franchise turned a $20.1 million operating profit last year, according to team officials.

The outstanding loyal fan base in Wisconsin is unbelievable. i belong to the worst team in history (Lions) and I still can't afford the ticket. I hope they don't earn any money until they put a product similar to the Packers on the field!
