- kevinfik, on 11/23/2008, -1/+5Wow, for a second there I thought Notre Dame lost to Syracuse. Man, that would have been one of the worst losses in Irish history if that happened. Too bad for this Nortre Dame team. Their team sounds like a direction of some sort, like Nortre by Nortrewest.
- tcquad, on 11/23/2008, -1/+5The worst part, above all else, is that this was the last home game of the year. This is the "Rudy" game, when normally you get your practice squad seniors out there to play for a down and get their memory.
There's something wrong with Weis's teams. They lack the ability to step on people's throats. Up by two touchdowns? OK, let's relax, oops, 3-and-out, well, then we'll just punt... They can't pull away from bad teams, so bad losses happen.
ND's wins so far have been a come-from-behind victory over San Diego State, going up 28-17 at halftime over Michigan and then the offense didn't score again, one big third quarter versus Purdue with nothing in the fourth, letting Stanford get two late touchdowns to put the score at 28-21, demolishing Washington and then letting Navy get two late touchdowns to put the score at 27-21. Today, 'Cuse got two late touchdowns to win after being down 23-10. There's no excuse. You're up by two touchdowns in the fourth quarter against a 2-8 team? Everyone was getting five years with Notre Dame. Now they put in this guy to turn it all around only he sucks. Disastrous year in 2007 and now nearly losing back to back to Navy, but this is a new low for Notre Dame. This is a coach that was given a 15 year deal while another was given the shaft. That's not even mentioning the racial under tones.

being legit is apparently not his forte....
all of that being said, i will been an irish fan for life...
but these kids barely rank as a high school team this year...
as always hold out hope that they beat usc but im prepared for the bloodbath that is imminent...
