- inactive, on 07/09/2009, -16/+90GOOD. Twitter is getting annoying.
- thezoner, on 07/09/2009, -2/+71Also denied: his idea for a 30-minute lunch break
- NightEmber79, on 07/09/2009, -3/+58But blow, hookers, and hot dogs are still allowed...
- dafoe, on 07/09/2009, -14/+52***** twitter. I am tired hearing about this twitter ***** 24x7. Useless piece of *****. It is going to follow the decline of myspace pretty soon.
- danthepiercer, on 07/09/2009, -6/+36GOOD!
play the ***** game and quit with the lame ass attempt to make yourself more visible in the off season, you overrated *****! - Kinneas12, on 07/09/2009, -2/+31This is silly. There is zero reason to tweet during a game. It just goes to suggest that for some athletes, the social attention is more important than the sport.
- athinnes, on 10/01/2009, -1/+29So are you saying the Bengals will make the Super Bowl without Chad? And if so, you do know the Steelers and the Bengals could never play in the Super Bowl against each other right?
Just what exactly are you trying to say? - inactive, on 07/09/2009, -3/+31I wish I could go one day without hearing the words , Tweet & Twitter.
- blitzwing85, on 07/09/2009, -1/+25Pay me what he makes and I promise to never look at Digg again.
- NaviGATR, on 07/09/2009, -0/+23TO will have to wait until after the game to update his Facebook page too.
- GamerXR72, on 07/09/2009, -1/+24If you are paid as much as they are, you stfu and do what you're told.
- klshel, on 07/09/2009, -5/+27Is it wrong that I'm hoping Ocho will be able to tweet during halftime?
- tpmidd, on 07/09/2009, -0/+21I hope he gets traded to a team that already has a player with #85.
- robbob, on 07/09/2009, -0/+19Actually do your job instead of twitting around
- kromix, on 07/09/2009, -1/+20For ***** Sake, the man changed his name, legally, to Chad Ochocino.
- FirstCuts, on 07/09/2009, -0/+18I love that a COACH was busted for a sideline phone call in the past.
- bearsohmy, on 07/09/2009, -0/+17You don't get paid multi million dollar salaries to twitter.
- mdinitto, on 07/09/2009, -1/+15so sad. I'm sure whatever 85 had to say during games would have been completely riveting
- daEXpress, on 07/09/2009, -8/+20To everyone saying he should play football instead of tweeting, are you on Digg at work?
Kind of hypocritical, eh? - lolupissed, on 07/09/2009, -1/+13Bengals can't play the Steelers in the super bowl.
Not that the Bengals would ever get there. - beachtrader, on 07/09/2009, -1/+12I'm sorry, but you are three characters over your limit to tweet. Please rephrase your post to comply.
- VinnieDaMac, on 07/09/2009, -0/+11Delay of game, player tweeting, 5 yard penalty.
- jfield1, on 07/09/2009, -1/+11It was late in overtime late in the year and he wasn't sure if ATL would be eliminated if they tied the game. When it was determined that they could tie and stay in the playoff race he punted and went for the tie instead of going for the win.
They lost. - vondrak, on 07/09/2009, -0/+10That's how the NFL works.
- inactive, on 07/09/2009, -1/+10Not according to the law.
- AmazingA, on 07/09/2009, -1/+10The rule is in place because someone with a cell phone on the sideline could be getting info relayed. For instance, one of Eight Five's friends could text him and say "Hey, they just showed the other team's huddle on TV and they're gonna run the ball", or the Bengals could have spies on the other sideline, or an entire team of coaches on cell phones. ..so yea, there are reasons. I realize Twitter is to post info, but who's to say what players are actually doing on their phones.
- AmazingA, on 07/09/2009, -0/+8I remember that game- Coach Mora didn't just "take a call"- he called his dad for advice at the end of regulation! Good luck with that Seattle.
- Scrappy1850, on 07/09/2009, -0/+8reply comprehension fail
- jro21991, on 07/09/2009, -4/+12Chad knows how to write?
- inactive, on 07/09/2009, -5/+13The NFL has more sense than our own US Govt!
- Bloodburn, on 07/09/2009, -0/+7Twitters: "throwing a pass lol"
"catching pass, zomg its coming!!!1" - Cepster, on 07/09/2009, -0/+7Looked an awful lot like a score. Nice try on the dignity recovery, and thanks for playing!
- rdoger6424, on 07/09/2009, -0/+7And post his summary of the game on FML
- bigsheldy, on 07/09/2009, -5/+12They don't even give a reason...you just can't twitter "because they said so"?
- LowRentDiggs, on 07/09/2009, -0/+6Easy: don't watch crap channels like CNN.
- IHaveIssues, on 07/09/2009, -1/+7People on Twitter need to know how to write?
- GeekNurse, on 07/09/2009, -0/+6Wait, Michael Jackson is DEAD?!
- awtripp, on 07/09/2009, -0/+6Ooohh, of course, obviously, your original post was SO clear.
- zaferk, on 07/09/2009, -0/+6ppl on twtr r gud @ wrt. harhar u troll!
- shayne8181, on 07/09/2009, -0/+6The No Fun League? Because they won't allow players to twitter? What a ridiculous statement by the submitter of this story. Chad Ochocinco is an idiot, i would not want him on my team, and i would not want any player on my team who is more concerned about twitter than the actual game
- ShoujoKakumei, on 07/09/2009, -2/+7Guys, remember, hating Twitter makes you cool.
- marcb83, on 07/09/2009, -0/+5are you calling him a name or referring to a past tense twitter?
- daEXpress, on 07/09/2009, -4/+9Like the others pointed out, two AFC teams cannot play each other in the Super Bowl.
Also, the Ravens will make the Super Bowl over the Steelers. Silly Pittsburgh fan. - swagv, on 07/09/2009, -0/+5Yeah, but Twittering athletes are typically broadcasting, "I'm a moron! This is why they don't pay me to talk!" And with Ocho, that's no surprise.
- TexMexRex, on 07/09/2009, -1/+6I would like to see tweets during the play:
OMG I have the bal!
Rung!
OMG that guy is going to tcle me!
Ouch! - JCEEZ, on 07/09/2009, -0/+5I actually like the Steelers, but most Steeler fan's I've met are tards. Thanks for re-assuring the stereotype.
- dronkmunk, on 07/09/2009, -1/+6These comments are terrible.
- inactive, on 07/09/2009, -5/+10Can't wait for Twitter to fade away. I'm not anti-Twitter. I don't care one way or another about it. But I am sick and tired of hearing about friggin' Twitter several times a day, every single day. I can barely stand to watch CNN any more. They blather on constantly about Twitter and Faceplant. Enough. Please.
- marcb83, on 07/09/2009, -1/+5you mean 8 5
- KnowNewIdeas, on 07/09/2009, -0/+4Looks like it's time for somebody to get their fresh air.
