- Lax32, on 11/11/2008, -0/+15The only problem is that he is about 5'10 (which probably means he is maybe 5'9). Ideal height for NFL and top tier college QBs is 6'4 to 6'5. Some shorter quarterbacks get away with being 6'0 or 6'1, but once you get below that there are serious problems. At 5'10 he could probably do fairly well in college if he really is that good but his chances of making it in a top tier D1 or NFL program are slim.
- Marker809, on 11/11/2008, -2/+14I wonder if John Madden will still be alive when Jr plays on MNF.
- onlysc, on 11/11/2008, -2/+12yeah, i read about that yesterday. kid will be a stud
- Trifold, on 11/11/2008, -4/+13Not mentioned: his state record 47 interceptions.
(/s) - mediaspree, on 11/11/2008, -2/+8As long as E.A. can keep the video game rights, they'll be keeping Madden alive.
- hi2u2, on 11/11/2008, -2/+7His uncle has practically already put in an application of sorts for the kid, I automatically want to take a look at the kid just because of the last name.
- tvhwy, on 11/11/2008, -0/+5Seems to work fine for his uncle.
- Retnuh730, on 11/11/2008, -0/+4Bay Saint Louis is the town, did either of you guys read? It's literally the first three words of the article. St. Stanislaus is the school.
- wem003, on 11/11/2008, -0/+3Well he is only a junior - I remember kids on our high school team that were short and came back for the senior year and hit a growth spurt.
If not, here's hoping he won't end up like Rex Grossman of my beloved Bears - at least a couple of times a game he gets passes blocked - almost like the other team is spiking a volleyball back at him - he is 6'1" or less. - fl00d, on 11/11/2008, -1/+4I already bid on him in my fantasy league.
- MakanGuru, on 11/11/2008, -3/+6would be kinda cool if Brett ended up coaching him when he hits the NFL, IF he ever decides to retire for good
- darkcooger, on 11/11/2008, -0/+3He could make it in college if he was playing behind a really good offensive line that gave him time to drop back far enough that he could see down field. Otherwise, he'll wind up like Tyson Lee at Mississippi State - talented but completely unable to function as a quarterback.
- dracostimpy, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2I do believe this merits the creation of PedoMadden but alas, I'm at work. Anyone bored?
- HenryFatass, on 11/12/2008, -0/+2First, it's Brett
Second, your mom SUCKS!!!!!(my balls)
Third, Favre will not read this. - bridow, on 11/11/2008, -0/+2at 5'10, I doubt he'll make the NFL

Where else can I find your work? - knute5, on 11/11/2008, -3/+4So maybe things'll be looking up in Green Bay about eight years from now ...
- thegamingguy, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1Has he threatened to quit after the year for the last few years too?
- inactive, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1Yeah, Doug Flutie sucked in the NFL and now he sucks as a sports commentator.
- BrandonLR, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1Yeah, with that combination of talent & pedigree, there's no way he's not going to end up in the NFL. Whether he'll actually hack it or not is anyone's guess at this point.
- bubba9999, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1Little Superstar!
- darkcooger, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1Indeed. My college alma mater is struggling with a 5'11" quarterback. I can't imagine dropping another inch would help his ability to see down field at all.
- AmyVernon, on 11/12/2008, -0/+1Just b/c that was the dateline didn't mean Bay St. Louis was the town. I couldn't figure out wtf a Rock-A-Chaw was. St. Stanislaus, I figured out, was the school name.
- naewilder, on 11/11/2008, -0/+1Having graduated from Biloxi High (about 20 mins from Bay St.Louis), I can recall hearing how Dylan threw for X amount of TDs and outrageous amount of yards every Friday. This kid is gonna be good.
- slvrbullet87, on 11/11/2008, -2/+2I wonder if he is a "gunslinger" type of QB like his uncle, i kinda hope not because that has gone out of style in the NFL
- yohnstoppable, on 11/11/2008, -1/+1"Brett Favre is the greatest player of all time. You know the greek gods? Favre is one step above that."
- romeyinfc, on 11/11/2008, -3/+3Yes, but how many interceptions did the kid throw? Did he get the record for that too?
- lxrhee, on 11/12/2008, -0/+0What do you mean "Farve said"? Which Farve??
- evilgoatbob, on 11/11/2008, -2/+1St. Stanislaus is the name of the town. Rock-A-Chaws is the name of the team; it's a local name for a type of bur.
- tvhwy, on 11/11/2008, -2/+1In the high school halls

The "null verb" thing is a meme. (I think you noticed that the fail was in the Digg summary above.) - akeldama, on 11/11/2008, -2/+1Good, hopefully he can get to 300 career interceptions (and counting) like his namesake!
- tvhwy, on 11/11/2008, -3/+1The kid can really a football!
- AmyVernon, on 11/11/2008, -4/+1Rock-A-Chaws? I couldn't tell for sure from the article, but is that the name of the town??
- RedSox4547, on 11/12/2008, -3/+0Bret Favre is the most overrated athlete in sports. HE SUCKS!!!!! I can strap on a helmet and toss the ball up in the air too, he is a freakin joke. Brett if you read this, I have one message for you: Retire, you are old, you suck, and you have always sucked!
- KSteezy, on 11/11/2008, -7/+1i read that has farve and got scared
- 1807, on 11/11/2008, -27/+7Little Brady, if there was one, would be better. Go Patriots!
