But if you bought the deluxe anniversary version, I though it had Madden on the cover. But I could be wrong. As soon as the new covers come out I forget the old ones. It's soooo last year.

EA did the same thing when they restarted their baseball franchise, putting Miguel Tejada and Randy Johnson on the cover of MVP Baseball 2003 (the reigning AL MVP and NL Cy Young, respectively). It's not something I'd want to see every year, but I think it's cool to see two superstars grace the cover of a sports game on occasion.

    I'm still not getting this game unless I hear player reviews confirm that it's actually a valid effort, and not just the same old rehash they've done since 2007. But hey, the cover is cool.

    Agreed. As a Cards fan, this doesn't bode well. I just watched the rapid decline of one of my favourite hockey players (Dion Phaneuf) this season. Couldn't they at least have put Anquon Boldin on the cover instead?
