- dhVyse, on 11/26/2008, -6/+2More like got completely annihilated.
Was a good game though. - sgtbutterscotch, on 11/26/2008, -1/+9What does that have to do with a great play?
- J16T3CH, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2Fantasy football owners, and I happen to be one of them.
- dhVyse, on 11/26/2008, -6/+2More like got completely annihilated.

- Slick37c, on 11/26/2008, -0/+5Beat me to it. That's actually crazier than Jennings' catch.
- merdiesel, on 11/26/2008, -0/+5Holy *****.
That looked damn near lethal. I can't believe that didn't knock him out.
- gaapgod, on 11/25/2008, -2/+9When I saw that I involuntarily shouted 'BLOOOOOOOCCCCHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!'
Everyone in the office stared.- Puffles, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2Teehee. Bloooch. ^_^
- IIECONII, on 11/25/2008, -3/+3It sounds like a bunch of whales when "jvjackson"s movie gets to the slo-mo part.
...just figured I'd throw that out there.- dhVyse, on 11/26/2008, -2/+2Hi. There is a reply button. Use it.
- Trekhawk, on 11/26/2008, -5/+6As a cheesehead, that hit must have hurt as much as the loss. But he got the catch and the flag!
- jetblackz4, on 11/26/2008, -0/+13flag was picked up no foul.
- vondrak, on 11/26/2008, -10/+2I'm not sure what you mean by "as a cheesehead". Are you calling yourself one or Jennings? Either way, buried for such a ridiculous term that doesn't apply to everyone from WI.
- dafragsta, on 11/26/2008, -1/+3You're a cheesehead who has clearly never watched a Packers game.
- OdinOwesMe, on 11/26/2008, -1/+5A cheesehead isn't necessarily a person from Wisconsin, just a Packers fan. I am both.
- vondrak, on 11/26/2008, -1/+2No, wearing yellow foam on your head is stupid. And we as a state should really stop perpetuating this image. Look, I love the Packers, I love WI, ***** I even love cheese curds. But I learned a long time ago that this whole cheese head thing is an insult.
I don't need to see guys wearing cheese wedges, cheese cowboy hats, cheese bras, cheese butt pads....it never ends. - James2008, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2lmao... silly cheeseheads trying to change their image.
- dhVyse, on 11/26/2008, -0/+3Flag was thrown away after the refs talked it over, so no flag. Was a perfectly legal hit.
Still a nice catch.
- FriedSperm, on 11/26/2008, -7/+1Meh. Not that impressive.

- SteveMTyler, on 11/26/2008, -1/+7You'd think a site hosting football videos would have them in a high enough definition to see the football. That was youtube quality.
- sleeknerve, on 11/26/2008, -1/+3its actually much worse than youtube quality now
- LuckySephid, on 11/26/2008, -9/+2I think he is paid to catch it if im not mistaken
- TJ11240, on 11/26/2008, -1/+41I love Jennings- he has crazy talent, and isn't a headcase like so many other receivers. Go pack
- convergent, on 11/26/2008, -9/+5That was an average catch, the only thing resembling amazing is that he held on to the ball after that tackle.
- RUGERSP101, on 11/26/2008, -1/+2I don't know why anyone would digg down the above comment.
- Rikushix, on 11/26/2008, -0/+7Haha, one of my housemates is a downright obsessive Packers fan, he was none too pleased coming home last night from watching the game. I asked him cheerfully how the Packers did and he told me to go ***** myself :)
In all seriousness, a solid hit but an even greater catch. Nice play. - vestlandsfanden, on 11/26/2008, -7/+2what is the amazing part, the catch or the throw?
- CP3fan63, on 11/26/2008, -1/+2the hit
- saintsfan, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2second the hit
- Brassbud, on 11/26/2008, -5/+2It was amazing how fast that game went from a shootout to a blowout. Oh well, anything to help the Bears I guess.
- scot333, on 11/26/2008, -1/+3It reminds me of how the lions played.......in the future?
- JingleHymrShmit, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2that is why he is on my fantasy team

heart does not win. talent wins.- saintsfan, on 11/26/2008, -0/+4Woah your both wrong.. Football is 90% mental
- boardthis, on 11/26/2008, -1/+3if i hear "he played with heart" one more time...
- TheBean, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2I was at the game last night--literally felt the hit has it happened.
- saintsfan, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2It was a great hit
- halogoggles, on 11/26/2008, -2/+6I think catching a football, getting drilled instantly, and holding onto the football is the play that I appreciate most in all of sports. Going down to block a slap shot where you know it's going to hurt and you have a decent probability of breaking something is a close second. I just think it's amazing how hard you can get hit and players manage to hold onto the ball. You don't know where you are or anything after the hit but you know enough to instinctively grip the ball tight and hold on.
- CP3fan63, on 11/26/2008, -1/+2WR is easily the scariest position to play IMO. Imagine running across the middle and trying to catch a ball knowing you're likely going to get SMACKED by a linebacker (like Ray Lewis)
- Gregus1032, on 11/26/2008, -0/+3Yea, WR is a tough position to play, but i would fear those safeties more than the linebackers.
- CP3fan63, on 11/26/2008, -1/+2WR is easily the scariest position to play IMO. Imagine running across the middle and trying to catch a ball knowing you're likely going to get SMACKED by a linebacker (like Ray Lewis)
- 80onelove, on 11/26/2008, -2/+8I love how Harper is celebrating a play where his team gives up a first down and a flag is thrown.
- username7410, on 11/26/2008, -1/+3Yeah, a hard hit ain't ***** if they guy gets the first down! It's like putting a hard hit on a QB and "sacking" him just after he's thrown the ball or celebrating a garbage time TD.
- TheDeuce53, on 11/26/2008, -0/+6If you watched the game you would know it was over at that point... the hit was more of an overall statement by the Saints.
Also you would know that the flag got picked up, as the hit was perfectly legal and clean. Great catch by Jennings.- 80onelove, on 11/26/2008, -1/+2Whether the game was over or not is irrelevant... his celebration of a failed play is an indictment in and of itself.
Same goes for the flag. True, it was a totally clean play, but a flag was thrown regardless. - TheDeuce53, on 11/29/2008, -0/+2You must be confused. It wasn't a "failed" play. Sure it would have been great if Jennings had dropped the ball... but it was still a BIG hit. You can bet Jennings thought twice about going over the middle after that. Jennings made a GREAT catch, but Harper did nothing wrong and played it just about as perfectly as he could have. Any player in the league would hop up with some fire after a huge hit like that.
Also, you seem confused about the part where the flag was PICKED UP. That means the refs conferred and picked up the flag and said "there is NO penalty for unnecessary roughness"... so the flag that was thrown was NEGATED. That means, NO penalty.
- 80onelove, on 11/26/2008, -1/+2Whether the game was over or not is irrelevant... his celebration of a failed play is an indictment in and of itself.
- Gregus1032, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2Im pretty sure his ego took a hit when he found out that jennings held on to the ball.
- psteve4, on 11/26/2008, -0/+3I think he is more or less letting him know he should think twice about coming over the middle again. Even though he held on, I doubt he wants to try that play for the rest of that game.
- ASSASSYN360, on 11/26/2008, -0/+6He is being featured on the gotcha media.
- saintsfan, on 11/26/2008, -1/+2Whatta a hit ... so how smart was it to get rid of your quarterback? That was the best game I have been to since the Saints- Atlanta game in 06
- Edger, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2I'm pretty sure the old quarterback didnt play defense so it wouldnt have mattered.
Jesus could have been at QB and GB would have lost last night.- James2008, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2I wonder if Jesus was a fair sport...
- psteve4, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2It actually wasn't a bad idea for packers to let Favre walk. If they would have kept him it would have only been one more year in a now uncomfortable situation. Plus, you don't draft a guy first overall to sit him on the bench then let his free agent year come around without him playing a down then losing your vet because it puts you in a position of having to give him more money to stay and never seeing what he can do during a game.
- saintsfan, on 11/27/2008, -0/+2Look at the Patriots... They lost their QB and their defense has gone way down. When the offense sets up bad field position the other team scores more. Also did you not see the game? GB had ample opportunity to score but couldn't throw well enough.
- Edger, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2I'm pretty sure the old quarterback didnt play defense so it wouldnt have mattered.
- TheBigBad, on 11/26/2008, -3/+2not that amazing.
- aguywithnobeer, on 11/26/2008, -0/+3Great hit. Even better holding on the catch.
- sonofashoe, on 11/26/2008, -3/+5Not worth digging, not worth burying.
- AeroZeppelin, on 11/26/2008, -1/+6I guess it's worth commenting?
- 04TL, on 11/26/2008, -2/+3it's funny how #41 looks down at him talking ***** after the hit...lets see...a defense-less receiver, in the air and holds onto the ball...not too much to brag about after that hit...obviously it wasn't hard enough since he caught it...
go packers!- TheDeuce53, on 11/26/2008, -1/+3Great catch by Jennings... but the hit was huge. His adrenaline was flowing after that one.. he couldn't help himself and I don't blame him
- mauleriscool, on 11/26/2008, -1/+6HIT STICK!
- blackbelt88, on 11/26/2008, -0/+12Jennings and Driver have quietly become one of the better receiving duos in the league. I just hope they stick around for a while.
- Submerge, on 11/26/2008, -3/+5Now only if the Packers had a defense.
- Wamzlee, on 11/26/2008, -0/+4Hopefully Driver is talented enough still beyond his 10th season. Jennings has great big-play ability, but Driver is a YAC fighter. Even if Driver does move on to retirement, I think Jordy Nelson will slip nicely into his place.
- bnut, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2I was at the game and the crowd went insane after the hit. Harper has been a bust all year and it was nice to see him make a couple of plays. The hit was not illegal and the refs picked up the flag after deliberation.
- weebs, on 11/26/2008, -2/+3this happens 5 times every sunday. clean it up, digg.
- arial, on 11/26/2008, -1/+3Awesome catch too bad the Packers suck ass this season. Good job Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy forcing a legend out and watching him make the Jets a serious contender while we look like a joke on MNF. CURSE YOU!
BTW GO PACKERS! - ROMULAS, on 11/26/2008, -2/+2Nice catch but not not nice enough to be considered news worthy IMO
- James2008, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2The title should be changed... he got the snot knocked out of him...
If anyone has a link to a harder hit... show me. I love brutality. - hawksfan03, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2i'm a vikings fan but when I was watching the game I couldn't help but be impressed with how good Greg Jennings is. If he played for New England or the Giants he would be regarded as one of the best WRs in the game but since he plays in Green Bay he doesn't get much attention. Great Catch, but also a nice CLEAN hit.
- Wamzlee, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2True. The Pack definitely need a receiver of his caliber to fit into that system. Also, I think one thing he has going against him in terms of popularity is that he is a really well-mannered person -- unlike receivers Terrell Owens, Randy Moss, or Javon Walker. I think a small-community team like Green Bay is perfect for a guy like him.
- isolino, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2Isn't that what they get paid to do?
- twitrock, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2As a fellow Bronco, I have to admit, I'm impressed with how good Jennings has become!
- nick2, on 11/26/2008, -0/+6Being a lifelong Packers fan, my heart skipped a beat when I saw that. I'm glad he popped right back up and was in the next play like nothing happened. I met him a few times in the past month and he is a very nice guy. He isn't a player who thinks he is all that in a bag of chips that demand a lot of attention.
- tinybubs, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2As they used to say, "Greg Jennings got JACKED UP!"
- FiveIronFrenzy, on 12/15/2008, -0/+3Packers Fan! Digg if you are too.
- BetterOffEd, on 11/26/2008, -1/+2Great catch.
But the flag was total *****. Completely clean hit.
(Still a great catch...) - TeflonFong, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2"Whether the game was over or not is irrelevant... his celebration of a failed play is an indictment in and of itself."
NOT ALWAYS THE CASE.
There ARE cases when you can get a 1st down and it is a FAILED play. Defenses play prevent defense and give up passes in the middle as long as they can't go out of bounds to stop the clock or score a TD. I don't know if this was the case with this game but it can be perfectly fine in certain situations to celebrate a "failed" play.
Technically the "victory formation" (when the QB takes a knee) is a "failed" play- it is a loss of yards. - punkrawkintrev, on 11/26/2008, -1/+2BOOOOM! HITSTICK BITCH!!!!!!!
- baajes, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2reminds me a bit of the crocker hit some weeks ago.
