- rpieszak, on 06/21/2009, -1/+16Well then, that settles it
- RazorEye, on 06/21/2009, -1/+13Well, back when I was in the Teamsters(Local 339), my Union Steward use to tell us stories of the old school days. Seems at a previous meeting a few years before that, he and the head of our local chapter, a man who was one of Hoffa's lieutenants from days gone by, had a few drinks. After a little poking and prodding, he was told that the general consensus of those on the inside was that the mob did take him out for wanting to wrestle control of the unions away from them, and to even things out from some previous dealings. The reason no body was ever discovered is apparently due to one of the local wise guys having an investment in a sawmill and they used that one night to feed the body through a wood chipper and take the remains to be tilled up in a field as fertilizer.
Did I believe him or his story? Not really, but he was an honest person all the same. It does have about as much plausibility as any of the other conspiracy theories out there about Jimmy's disappearance though. - inactive, on 06/21/2009, -0/+11I'd say if there was a mob hit on Hoffa he's not buried in one piece anywhere.
- mikemehak, on 06/21/2009, -1/+7Have they not done countless xrays, sonar and various scans to disprove this?
- whahaa, on 06/21/2009, -0/+6why?
- inactive, on 06/21/2009, -1/+5He's at the bottom of lake Michigan.
- akchrs, on 06/21/2009, -0/+4"Wait...I am not sure why I am getting buried."
Because you failed to say that Kari is hot. - BrandonJM, on 06/20/2009, -0/+4I had no idea they were taking down Giant Stadium, but it sounds like a great opportunity to take a peak under 107 and see if Hoffa (and anyone else for that matter) is there.
- rixbad, on 06/21/2009, -0/+3Last person to see Hoffa was Jacques Cousteau I believe.
- Xider, on 06/21/2009, -0/+3According to deceased Mafia hit man, Richard Kuklinski, he was burned and stuffed into an oil barrel and buried. Then, when one of their buddies started talking to the cops, they unburied him, put him in a car, compacted the car and had it shipped to Japan...
- steelreserve211, on 06/21/2009, -0/+2Here's an arm. Here's a leg. Here's a wing! *Henry Hill projectile vomit*
- RegalBegal, on 06/21/2009, -0/+2Carl is going to be upset.
- tommyjohn19, on 06/20/2009, -6/+8maybe Osama is there too. or the WMD's.
- williemain, on 06/21/2009, -0/+2for his dastardly performance on SNL a few years ago? Maybe they should coerce Derrick Jeter and Charles Barkley there too!
- sockpuppets, on 06/21/2009, -0/+2He's sleeping with the sea kittens?
- DonAlfred, on 06/21/2009, -2/+3cool story, bro.
- Cow194234, on 06/21/2009, -0/+1Hahahha I would agree that there is no way he was buried in one piece. In fact I am sure he was probably fed to us as a fine Italian delicacy
- WellOkayThen, on 06/21/2009, -0/+1Killing is badong.
- kokoshka, on 06/21/2009, -0/+1didnt they find him in al capones vault?
- cptcliche, on 06/21/2009, -0/+1Dugg for the bit about Steve Nash's hair
- FauOz, on 06/21/2009, -0/+1My guess one of the Good Fellas owned a mortuary and he was cremated and never to be seen again....Of course there are some suckers who will believe anything and will spend tax $$$ to try to find him at great entertainment of the snitches who send them.
- pegothejerk, on 06/21/2009, -0/+1that only works if they left him in one piece and went straight down when putting him there.
- kokoshka, on 06/21/2009, -3/+3you son of a bitch
- dreamweaver1984, on 06/21/2009, -1/+1now i wanna watch mythbusters...
- hildenborg, on 06/21/2009, -0/+0Why would anyone even want to find him?
I mean, everybody thinks the mob had him killed and disposed of.
And it is quite likely that the killers are dead by now.
So why bother?
It's a mystery, and of course it would be nice to solve it, but having his body found won't solve it. - Nubli, on 06/21/2009, -2/+1I heard he was cemented into one of the stadium's pillars. Hear-say though.
- monkeyvoodoo, on 06/21/2009, -3/+2what's wrong with that?
- dafragsta, on 06/21/2009, -2/+1So... uuuh... is that your friend in the wood chipper?
- adremali, on 06/21/2009, -8/+3i hope eli manning is still inside when they tear it down
- jordanlgta, on 06/21/2009, -8/+3It isn't gay, but it IS overrated. Anytime I've tried to watch a full episode starting from the very beginning, I get bored before the first commercial break.
- inactive, on 06/21/2009, -7/+1Countless? No. In fact, no one did it except the Mythbusters because it would be a waste of time for police to do it. He is not there. As they said at the time...The mafia don't ship. They are not going to transport a body from the Detroit to NJ. Too much risk. They could have easily disposed of the body near Detroit. That big lake up there would seem to be a nice place to start.
So the only ons who did anything were the Mythbusters, and in true Mythbusters style, they did about 5% of the field and called it busted. - inactive, on 06/21/2009, -7/+1Wait...I am not sure why I am getting buried. Is it for reporting the FACT that investigators never took the Giants Stadium rumor seriously enough to do any sonar? Or is it for having the audacity to point out that the Mythbusters never prove or disprove anything? Another fact? They try something a couple times over the course of a few hours and if it doesn't work they say "Well, that proves it could never happen." My favorite is how they always program Grant's robot with the average strength that THEY show to try to simulate a myth where a much stronger person did something. So, they are proving that the average nerd can't do something rather than someone who is much stronger. I have watched Mythbusters from day 1. But no, I am not dumb enough to think it is a sicence show. OR that ir proves anything. My god...what makes people think of them as scientists? They are SPECIAL EFFECTS people for crying out loud!
But agian...no...Giants Stadium has never been sweeped for Jimmy Hoffa. - Jrv420, on 06/21/2009, -35/+5Mythbusters is gay.
